Transcript of Trump Makes Shock Admission on Shutdown in Disaster Presser

Donald Trump just made numerous stunning admissions about the government shutdown that's about to take place when he held a press conference in the oval office. Donald Trump stated that he intends to use the government shutdown in order to harm people medically and destroy the lives of people in the government. It's in his own words. I told you, we have $17 trillion being invested. So the last person that wants to shut down is It drives us now. With that being said, we can do things during the shutdown that are irreversible, that are bad for them and irreversible by them, like cutting vast numbers of people out, cutting things that they like, cutting programs that they like. You all know Russell Vaud. He's become very popular recently because he can trim the budget to a level that you couldn't do any other way. They're taking a risk by having a shutdown because because of the shutdown, we can do things and other ways, including benefits. We can cut large numbers of people out. We don't want to do that, but we don't want fraud, waste, and abuse, and we're cutting that.

Now, the Democrats All showed up to the House of Representatives today. You see right here in the House Chambers, all Democrats, notably missing right here, all Republicans. No Republicans showed up to the House of Representatives on the before a government shutdown because Donald Trump and Maga Mike ordered that these Republicans not show up. Horrific. Democrats are there to work. Then Donald Trump is asked a question by a reporter who finally pushes back The reporter says, Look, people who are not here lawfully, undocumented migrants, they're not eligible for health care subsidies. Why do you keep saying that Democrats are trying to get them subsidies when they're not even allowed to have the subsidies, and Democrats are saying, No, they're not allowed to have the subsidies. That's not what this is about. It's about extending the tax credits for American citizens who are about to see their monthly premiums increase significantly. You'll see that Donald Trump just vomits out a bunch of word salad right here because he doesn't have the answer. And by the way, this is why he didn't want his meeting with Democratic leaders, Jeffrey's and Schumer, on tape. Here, play this clip.

Time for that. You're not eligible for the health care subsidies that Democrats are demanding. So can you clarify, what are you talking about when you say Democrats want to protect their health care? So when an illegal person comes in, a person who came into our country illegally, therefore breaking the law. And look, we all have big hearts. I have a bigger heart than you do. They're all breaking the law, and they're coming into our country. And we just, as a country, cannot afford to take care of millions of people who have broken the law coming in. We want them to come our country, but we want them to come in legally. Now we have a strong border, very strong border, thanks to Christie and Tom Holman and the whole group. They've done an amazing job at the border. We had a border that was reckless. We had a border that was a disaster. They were coming in by the millions. I say 25 million people, you're saying less, but I say 25 million people came in illegally. No system can take care of the health care of all of those people that came in.

Then Donald Trump continues down this path because he just believes if you repeat a lie over and over and over again, that people will just start speaking those talking points. He goes, Yeah, we're going to have a shutdown because Democrats want Cadillac, Medicare, and health care for illegal immigrants. Just, again, blatantly 100% false. How do you know it's false, too? You saw the reporter ask him the question, and he didn't even respond to the question. He just goes back to his lies. This is all he knows how to do is vomit lies, a lie vomiter. We could come up and through this whole thing, because I don't know, we'll probably have a shutdown, because one of the things they want to do is they want to give incredible Medicare, Cadillac, the Cadillac Medicare, to illegal immigrants. What that does is it keeps them coming into our country like they do in California. No country can afford that. No country. We have the border stopped up. We have it closed. We have nobody for four months. Zero people came in. That wasn't me. That's by the authorities who happen to be liberally oriented. But just think of that. We have people offering health care to people all over the world that they can't afford to pay, and that's the Democrats. What happens, what that does is it brings people into the country because they want to come in for the health care. But no country can afford it, and they can't afford it. We cannot allow them to charge tremendous amounts of money for health care for people that aren't even citizens. In many cases, they come in from prisons, jails, and mental institutions, and we can't let that happen.

Then Donald Trump starts attacking Obamacare, which is the Affordable Care Act, which allowed tens of millions of Americans who did not have insurance, who would just literally die to get insurance. Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act, is actually very popular. Donald Trump, during his first term, said that he was going to come with a health care plan. Well, now we're here many, many, many years later, and you haven't done anything other than post about super secret technology from outer space from aliens called MedBed that you're going to give alien technology to the American people, and then you delete the video because it's a QAnon conspiracy. While Nancy Pelosi is ignoring what you're doing for the American people, she's going after your administration for cutting TaxPay funded health care for illegal aliens. Nancy Flaher. She went on an NBC last night, dropped a bunch of FAB bombs, told Republicans to go F themselves. Has she lost her mind?

We have done an unbelievable job, medically. Just this, if you did nothing else, we've done a lot like the insulin. But just this, nobody can ever catch this. This is the biggest price reduction, maybe 10 times, 15 times, that has ever been given before. This is It's going to have a huge impact. As I said, Obamacare is not a good thing. It's been bad. I'd like to make it better. I told them, I spoke to a lot of people, a lot of Democrats recently. I said, Why do we change it? We can make Obamacare much better. We could come up with a new system that would be much better, less expensive for the people and better. This is maybe the biggest breakthrough because when you're talking about the prescription of drugs, that's a big part of it. We're going to look, this is prescription, but we're We're going to be looking at that week.

Donald Trump then continues to attack Obamacare. Okay, I get it. You hate Obamacare. Well, then rather than posting about MedBed's alien technology that doesn't exist, why don't you actually come up with a plan rather than tearing down and taking away and destroying people's lives? Why don't you extend the tax credits so that premiums don't skyrocket? At least extend the tax credits. Then come out with your plan. How about that? No, you want to not just take away Medicaid from people. You want to take away people's Affordable Care Act. Play this clip.

Because these numbers are going to bring Medicaid. We talk about Obamacare. Obamacare is a failure. Obamacare is not good. It's there, but relative to other health care programs, it's in the lower 20%. It's not good. I asked the Democrat representatives, What do you think about coming up with a better health care? Then Donald Trump refers to the shutdown as a strike, and he goes, The reason they want to strike is to get illegal immigrants, health care, illegal immigrants, trans Vendor people, illegal immigrants. These people are crazy. What are you talking about? This is just this robotic lie over and over again. All the Democrats are saying is Americans are about to potentially die in mass if they can't afford their health care. Of their affordable care act plan is about to get unenfortable. We're cutting that. But they want to have illegal aliens come into our country and get massive health care at the cost to everybody else, and we don't have it. That's, I would say, the number one reason that they want to strike is to get illegal immigrants health care. Gavin Newsom wants that, too, in California, and it's destroying California. We can't have that. We're not going to let it happen.

He's figured out a way to reduce your medical prescription drug prices by 14, 15, even 1,600%. You can't to do something by 1,600%. That would mean the pharmaceutical company, if say something costs a dollar, would basically be paying you $1,600. You're not doing 1,600% reductions. But I said, I want to get back here. Because you're talking about 14, 15, 1,600% reductions in some cases. But by taking this bold step, we're ending the era of global price at the expense of American families and women.

They're on vacation because they'd rather shut the government down than protect the health care of the American people. That's unfathomable. That's unacceptable. Then the Democrats want something else as well. This is important. They want an extension of Joe Biden's Obamacare subsidies. They were designed to be a temporary measure during COVID, a health emergency. What does that mean? Well, thanks to the brilliance of Obamacare, anyone in America doesn't A plan of health insurance, legal or illegal, basically has two options: get on government-funded Medicaid or buy a plan on the Obamacare exchange. Unfortunately, most of those Obamacare Exchange plans are basically useless. They cost a ton of money, and they cover almost nothing. Remember, until Donald Trump came along, there was a major tax penalty for any American that didn't have Obamacare. People were being forced by the government to buy a lousy product. As part of Joe Biden's America rescue plan, that's the $2 trillion that he dropped into the economy at the start of his term to, quote, spike inflation. While the government heavily subsidized the cost of those Obamacare exchange plans and Medicaid, instead of improving the products, as a result, Democrats decided the government would pay for it now, and those subsidies are expiring. And guess what? Republicans are not going to fund it. Democrats want, Oh, let's pay all this health care in perpetuity, basically universal health care.

And by the way, that would be trillions of dollars in exchange for keeping the government open for what? A mere four weeks? It's never going to happen. I'm going to be probably the only consistent one. I don't care if the government shuts down. Our military will still be defending us. We'll still have Border Patrol working. We'll have law enforcement working. We will also have Social Security and Medicaid provided to the elderly in this country. Those in need will get their checks, et cetera. It doesn't scare me. Never has, never will.

And while all of that's taking place, Donald Trump is also spending the morning fundraising off of the indictment of James Komi. Donald Trump is saying, He's a dirty cop. Give me money. Look what we've done. He literally sent an email to his supporters fundraising off of his demand that Komi be indicted and Trump placing his stooge, Lindsay Halligan to indict James Komi.
