Donald Trump just wrapped up a disastrous press conference with Australia's Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese. Let me show you what went down. Donald Trump, again, just looking sickly. I mean, Trump is totally unhinged. This was a very, very strange press conference. A reporter then asked Donald Trump, What's your response to the Prime Minister of Australia saying that there's a trade imbalance with Australia that's significantly in the United States's favor? I mean, the US has a massive trade surplus. Why are you hitting your friend and ally, Australia, with these tariffs? Then Donald Trump just starts rambling about airplanes. You have to buy our airplanes. It's very strange. Here, play this clip.

Mr. President, the Prime Minister mentioned that there's a trade imbalance that's very heavily in America's favor. Why does America slap such heavy tariffs on a friend and other? Well, we don't. Well, we do in some cases. We We do in many cases because we've been treated unfairly, but actually, the tariffs are very light. The one thing is you buy a lot of airplanes, so that helps because you buy a lot of the beautiful Boings, the best of the Boings. And by the way, Boeing is really doing well. They have lots of orders, and they're really doing a great job. They make a great plan. But Australia, because of its location, which is great, but one of the things dictated by that location is you have to order a lot of airplanes. So I guess we have that advantage. They need a lot of airplanes in Australia, and that gives us a little bit of an- Another reporter from Australia then asked Donald Trump, so would you consider lifting the tariffs ever for Australia?

I mean, given all the facts and data which shows that there's a trade surplus, Australia is a friend, why would you do this? Then Donald Trump just goes on this weird rant and rave that he always does about he solved eight wars and he's going to solve nine wars. Soon, he just makes up numbers, and I've created all of this piece, and I'm great. He doesn't answer the question. Here's the thing when you watch this, and to all of our Australian viewers, the Midas mates or the Midas Down Under, you see how this is just an individual who's so unhinged and untethered from reality, and he's a real threat to Australia, a real threat to the world. I've settled eight wars in eight months. Not bad. I have one more to go. It's Russia, Ukraine, and I think we'll get there, but it's turned out to be nasty because you have two leaders that truly hate each other. You can't have it all. They they hit each other beyond all else, and it makes it actually a little bit difficult. But of the eight deals, I would say because of tariffs, four or five of them were settled. It's an amazing thing, the power of tariffs in terms of our country. But tariffs have always been used against us. We never use them against anywhere else. Now you have a president that for financial security reasons and other reasons is using them. We've become a very rich nation again and a very secure nation again. But we've I've also become a nation that used that power of tariffs and the power of trade to settle five of the eight wars that I settled. I settled eight. I'm very proud of that. Nobody else has settled one. I don't think there's been an American President that settled one. I think there probably hasn't been outside of the two countries involved or however many are at war.

I don't think there's ever been an outside country that settled a war, period. So I settled eight in eight months. I'm proud of that. Now, in the meantime, I'm running a country that's right now we're the hottest country anywhere in the world. We were dead. A year and a half ago, we were a dead country. Now we're the hottest country in the world, economically and otherwise. But I will say this, Australia pays very low tariffs. Very, very low tariffs. Australia pays among the lowest tariffs.

Donald Trump has then asked a question about this ceasefire. It's not a peace deal. It's a ceasefire in the Middle East, which Israel and Hamas never signed. I just want to emphasize that. It seems to be collapsing. Almost 40 Palestinians have been killed. Hamas has reasserted control. Israel has continued to shell and strike Southern Gaza, also hitting Lebanon as well. Netanyahu doesn't support a two-state solution. Trump doesn't support a two-state solution. So what are we even talking about here? And then Donald Trump is like, Hamas, they need to behave. Donald Trump is asked about soy beans and the fact that our Soybean farmers are all going bankrupt. You'll recall, Trump gave $40 billion of our taxpayer money to Australia while our farmers are experiencing farmageddon. It's also our construction workers, our manufacturing workers. Frankly, all Americans are suffering, but Argentina is getting a $40 billion dollar bailout while 20 million Americans are about to lose their health care. They've got universal health coverage in Argentina while our health care here in the United States is being ripped away from so many. So Trump's asked about soybeans and he goes, I want them to buy strawberries. I used to speak to Xi Jinping all of the time. Biden never called Xi Jinping. Biden never... Biden this. Well, Donald, when former President Biden was the President, China was buying our strawberries at a significant significantly high rate. 60% of the sales of our soy bean farmers were being sent to China under Biden, but not under you because of your failed trade war against the world. In other words, he was supposed to buy. Biden, do you think Biden ever called him? I don't think Biden never called him. You think Biden lied awake at night thinking about trading with China?

Then Donald Trump is asked, Why did it take you nine months to meet with Prime Minister Al-Bhannisi? He didn't meet with him at the G7 meeting in Canon, although Donald Trump left early and fled that thing immediately and didn't really meet with anyone. He blew off meetings with Modi from India and so many other world leaders who are expecting to meet with him. Then one of the things the reporter says as well is it because you don't like Ambassador Rudd. You don't like, he said, the former Prime Minister as well of the Labor Party there. You don't like that he said negative things about you. Then you'll see how unhinged Donald Trump becomes here. Play this clip.

Have you had any concerns with this administration with the stance on Palestine, climate change, or even things the ambassador said about you in the past? Can you try an ambassador? Then Donald Trump says that Russia's war on Ukraine doesn't affect the United States in any way. Here, play this clip.

It's a bloodbath. It's the worst since the Second World War, the worst number of people. It doesn't affect us in any way. We don't pay anything because now they pay us for the weapons that they get. Nato is paying us for the weapons, as you know. It doesn't affect. I guess you could say that's a positive thing. They pay us, but I'm not interested in that. I did straighten it out.

Then Donald Trump says that he doesn't think that Ukraine can win the war against Russia. He goes, They could still win, but I don't think they're going to win. Let me show you this clip right here.

Mr. President, on the war that you haven't solved yet, the Ukraine-Russia situation. Have you now locked in a meeting? Can you explain, just a few weeks ago at Unna, you said that Ukraine could possibly win the war and- Well, they could. They could still win it. I don't think they will, but they could still win it. I never said they would win it. I said they could win. Anything could happen. You know, war is a very strange thing.

Next, Donald Trump has asked a question about China potentially taking over Taiwan, and then Donald Trump and whether the Australia, UK, US, the AUKUS Alliance is important in order to be a check against China's potential territorial ambitions in taking over Taiwan, to which Donald Trump says, I don't think AUKUS will be needed for that. Yes, Taiwan is the apple of Xi Jinping's eye, which is the same expression that Donald Trump uses to talk about Ukraine being the apple of Putin's eye. It's a weird phrasing. Here, play this clip. Mr. President, your Secretary of War, Pete Hagset, in his last speech, I think it was May, warned about the potential likelihood or threat of President Xi ordering an invasion of Taiwan.

2027 is also the year that Fleet Base West is supposed to start rotating those US and UK submarines. Do you see Walker as the deterrent for China in the endo-possible? Yeah, I do. I think it is, but I don't think we're going to need it. I think we'll be just fine with China. China doesn't want to do that. First of all, the United States is the strongest military power in the world by far. It's not even close. We have the best equipment, we have the best of everything, and nobody's going to mess with that. I don't see that at all with President Xi. I think we're going to get along very well as it pertains to Taiwan. Now, that doesn't mean it's not the apple of his eye, because probably it is, but I don't see anything happening. We have a very good trade relationship. We're going to have a very good... I think when we leave South Korea, it could be wrong, but I think we'll end up with a very strong trade deal. Both of us will be happy. I don't see that happening now.

He was an incompetent president. We had an incompetent president, but you don't have that anymore.

Then Donald Trump says that he thinks that China is in trouble and that they're not going to make it. He thinks China is not going to make it. It's all projected protection, by the way. The United States is in deep trouble right now. Structurally, America is a pedestal by pedestal, legs of the pedestal. It's cracking our economy. It's a brick by brick by brick right now is what we're Actually, China's economy is doing great. China has found alternative markets outside of the United States to import from. But this is Donald Trump projecting here. Play this clip.

Almost like saying, We don't want to do business with you, but It's probably nicer. Saying you're going to pay 158, 157% tariff is a nicer way of saying that we don't want to do business with you. If they don't do business with us, I think China is in big trouble. I'll be honest with you. I think China is I don't know that they even make it. I really do. I believe that they're in big trouble, and I don't want them to be in big trouble. I want them to do great. I want them to thrive, but we have to thrive together. It's a two-way street.

I think- Then Donald Trump goes on this rant again. Look what I've done. I've made peace in the Middle East for the first time ever. There's peace in the Middle East, everybody, because I say it's peace in the Middle East, therefore it's peace in the Middle East. Here, play this clip.

You just alluded to the violence in the Middle East.

What steps is the administration administration taking to maintain the ceasefire?

Well, a lot of steps. Right now, it's in the hands of others. We have 59 countries that agreed to the deal. We have a peace in the Middle East for the first time ever. We made a deal with Hamas that they're going to They're very good. They're going to behave. They're going to be nice. If they're not, we're going to go and we're going to eradicate them if we have to. They'll be eradicated, and they know that. So they went in. I don't believe it was a leadership, but they had some rebellion in there among themselves, and they killed some people, pretty a lot of people. But this is a violent group. You probably noticed over the last 100 years, this is a very violent group of people. They got very rambunctuous, and they did things that they shouldn't be doing. If they keep doing it, then we're going to go in and straighten it out, and it'll happen very quickly and pretty violently, unfortunately.

Look, there's not peace in the Middle East. Bodies of 57 Palestinians brought to Gaza hospitals in the past 27 hours. Gaza Health Ministry says the humanitarian aid being blocked by Israel, Hamas reasserting control over Gaza, strikes on Southern Gaza. Israel says it's because they said the Palestinians violated the ceasefire. As I mentioned, there were strikes in Lebanon. In terms of the death count, close to 40 Palestinians have died that we know of, right around 40. And so I don't really see how this is even being called a ceasefire. When Biden was able to get 83% of the hostages return. Trump did get some hostages return, which is something that should be applauded, right? I mean, getting the remaining hostages back is great. The idea of a ceasefire, in theory, is a good thing. But when you don't say you support a two-state solution or a free Palestine living next to a free Israel side by side, peacefully, when you don't require Hamas to disarm, when you don't require Israel to recognize a two-state solution, I'm not really sure what we're even talking about here at all. You have that. Then, by the way, in the background of all of this, we learned today that the Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service and their military intelligence services have significantly scaled back intelligence sharing with the United States due to ongoing concerns about the reliability and political ships fearing that sensitive information provided to the United States could end up with China or Russia or enemy or the United States who could use it to harm our allies.

We just know that because that's being announced publicly, but I believe that's what's taking place in Canada and Europe and Australia and elsewhere right now. But tell me what you think as well. I'll leave you with this one point right Caroline Levant, Donald Trump's press secretary, chief propagandist, posted the following. This is her text message with a reporter from the Huffington Post who she refers to as a left-wing hack. The reporter says, Is the President aware of the significance of Budapest? In 1994, Russia promised in Budapest not to invade Ukraine if it gave up the nuclear weapons it inherited when the Soviet Union dissolved. Does he not see why Ukraine might object to that site as a meeting point between Donald Trump and Putin, given the history. Who suggested Budapest was the question by this reporter. Thanks.
