Transcript of Trump Loses It as World War Gets Closer

Donald Trump is having a terrible Monday, and the world is far less safe while this grotesque thing continues to pretend to lead the United States of America. Can we talk about what's just going down today? You have Vladimir Putin calling Donald Trump to lie about Zelenskyy trying to attack Putin's home as a pretext for Putin to launch a further incursion into Kyiv and for Putin to attack government buildings there with ballistic missiles and drones. Donald Trump bought Putin's lies, hook, line, and sinker. Donald Trump's like, Oh, I'm so sorry you're going through this, Putin. Thank God we didn't send Ukraine the Tomahawks. This was clearly coordinated between Donald Trump and Putin in advance of these Zelenskyy meetings. As I was saying, it's a total trap. It is a total setup. More on that in a moment. Also, in the past in 24 hours. Iran has announced that there is a total war right now between Iran, the United States, Israel, and the West. Iran says that it is more ready now than ever to engage in a broader war as a result of what it claims to be the incursions and the offensive posture of the United States and Israel and other countries in the West.

You have North Korea launching its ballistic missiles, doing a ballistic missile test. I'll go into that in a moment as well. Then you also have the news of China announcing that it has been engaging in its most aggressive military drills around Taiwan in history. Now, Taiwan has activated all of its emergency measures, anticipating and being ready in the event China actually invades soon. So all of that's happening in the past 24 hours. Let's get into it in a little more detail. And then you've got Donald Trump's last post 23 hours ago, or yet basically a day ago. And it is a photo of a nuclear bomb going off in Manhattan with a nuclear cloud rising. And Trump's message says that Democrats want to replace you with uneducated Mexicans who would be easier to enslave. People who vote for Democrats are dumb and suicidal with a nuclear bomb going off in Manhattan. That was Donald Trump's last post. Let's take this meticulously now so you have a full update on what's going on. I know the corporate news is not covering a lot of this, but this is the closest the world has been to a world war since the beginning of World War I and World War II.

It is that level right now of global insecurity caused by Donald Trump. Okay, let's be very clear. Caroline Levet, Donald Trump's chief propagandist, posted this moments ago. President Trump has concluded a positive call with Putin concerning Ukraine. This is Trump's third call with Putin in the past 24 hours. Before Donald Trump met with Zelenskyy on Sunday, he spoke with Putin first in the morning, and then he spoke with Putin again. He's spoken to Putin by his own admission for several hours. He said two and a half hours was one of the call, probably four to five hours in total on the phone with Putin on Sunday. And today, if you combine the calls together, he's literally getting marching orders right now from Putin. Do we get what's going on? And here's what's being reported. Trump has been informed by Putin on a Ukrainian attack on Putin's residence. And then Putin reported through the Russian propaganda Mail Service that Donald Trump was shocked and outraged by this news. And according to Putin, Trump said that, Thank God we did not give Tomahawks to Ukraine. This is being reported directly from Russia's propaganda service. Putin told Trump that Kyiv, that Zelinsky's terrorist actions will not go unanswered.

This is what the Kremlin aid, Yuri Yushaqv, has has been telling the Russian propaganda. And by the way, this, in my opinion, was all contrived yesterday between Putin and Trump. I think what Trump tried to do to shake Zelenskyy down is say, If you don't agree to this deal, we've got a plan, basically, to escalate things, and so you better agree to this deal now. And when Zelenskyy would not agree to give up Eastern Ukraine, that plan is being implemented right now, where Putin claims a fake attack on his residents as a pretext to launch ballistic missiles and drone strikes on Kyiv, government buildings, and to try to assassinate Zelenskyy. I believe that's what's going on. Just look at all of the evidence that's before your eyes. So earlier this morning, you had Lavrov and other Russians saying that Putin's residence was being attacked by Ukraine. Again, this is totally false. Zelenskyy, by the way, denies all of this and says this is just pretext. Russia immediately goes Russia's negotiating position will be reviewed, taking into account Kyiv regime's final shift to a policy of state terrorism. They're saying, Oh, they're terrorists. Does that sound familiar?

Donald Trump labeling all of his enemies narcov Moscow terrorists. It's the same playbook right here, and that's exactly what Putin's doing. It's the same authoritarian playbook right here taking place. And by the way, the timing of this is at the same time Putin announced a few hours earlier that they were going to intensify their efforts on Zypregia and that they were going to intensify their attacks on Ukraine. So it's obvious what's going on here. Zalinsky posts the following, Russia is at it again using dangerous statements to undermine all achievements of our share diplomatic efforts with Trump's team. We keep working together to bring peace closer. This alleged, quote, resident strike story is a complete fabrication intended to justify additional attacks against Ukraine, including Kyiv, as as well as Russia's own refusal to take necessary steps to end the war. Typical Russian lies. Furthermore, the Russians have already targeted Kyiv in the past, including the cabinet of ministers building. Ukraine does not take steps that can undermine diplomacy. To the contrary, Russia always takes such steps. This is one of the many differences between us. It is critical that the world doesn't stay silent now. We cannot allow Russia to undermine the work on achieving a lasting peace.

The official Russia position from Yuri Yushaov is that any temporary ceasefire, be it the one proposed by the EU and Ukraine, or any other ceasefire proposal will lead to the prolongation of the conflict, that a ceasefire will cause the war to intensify and increase and last longer. That's the Russia position. Quite literally, war is peace and peace is war. That's what they are basically saying. Peace would lead to more war. That's their... So of course, this was all a setup. What do you think? By the way, when Donald Trump gave it away yesterday, didn't he?

Remember during the press conference when Donald Trump was asked, Well, what did you speak about? And Donald Trump was like, We didn't talk about sports. We didn't talk about what a great Christmas meal it was. What do you think we were talking about? They were talking about this. This was the setup. Here's what Trump said. Look, I was on the phone with him for almost, I guess, two and a half hours. They're just telling me now. It's a long time. We discussed a lot of things. We didn't talk about the weather. We weren't talking about what a beautiful day it is in Palm Beach, Florida.

In my opinion, he gave it away. Okay, while this is taking place, you have China announcing major military drills around Taiwan in a serious warning against any push for independency in an another's report. China's military announced on Monday it was mobilizing its army, navy, air, and rocket units around Taiwan in major military drills to test what it says was combat readiness and to send a serious warning against any push for Taiwanese independence. Taiwan's government condemn the drills, accusing China of military intimidation. This has been the biggest military buildup by China around Taiwan. Look at what China Daily is reporting right now. They even write, The People's Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command is dispatching its naval and Air Force carriers to carry out combat readiness patrols around Taiwan Island, a military spokesperson said on Monday. This is how China is framing the issue. The vessels and aircraft will approach Taiwan Island in close proximity from different directions, said Xi Y, a spokesperson for the Eastern Theater Command. Xi stressed that the move aims to test the capabilities of the troops to conduct rapid endeavors. Now, in response, Taiwan has responded with its own rapid response exercises.

Its military has now been placed on high alert. North Korea, while this is going on, you have Kim Jong Un playing with fire. And with his neighbor's nerves, as Nexta writes, North Korea test-fired long-range cruise missiles. Pyun Yang stresses that the launches were aimed at checking its own combat readiness and counter-attack capabilities. Now, as they write, Against the backdrop of China's drills around Taiwan and growing regional tensions, These tests look like another step toward turning Asia into the next hotspot. But everything's a hotspot right now. I mean, look at what's going on in the Middle East. Iran declares that it is in an all-out war with US, Europe, and Israel. It goes on to say the following. Their President, Peshkian, says the following, Iran's President, Mossad Peshkian, said, Iran was engaged in an unprecedented all-out war with US, Europe, and Israel as Donald Trump prepared to meet Israel's Prime Minister in Washington. You see Netanyahu with Marco Rubio today. Pzehkian warned that Iran's military forces were more prepared than ever and would respond to any new aggression as Trump and Israeli Prime Mr. Netanyahu, were expected to discuss Iran at their next meeting on Monday.

Again, while all of that's taking place, Donald Trump is posting photos of Manhattan being bombed by nuclear weapons and saying that Mexicans are easier to enslave than you or something like that. I mean, what a ridiculous and horrific and racist thing to say. Zalinsky did an interview with Fox after his meeting with Donald Trump. Here's what Zalinsky told Fox regarding Trump Trump's claim that 85% of Ukrainians want to basically give up. And Zalinsky's like, No. Of course, 85% of Ukrainians want peace, but 85% of Ukrainians don't want to withdraw from Donbas because we want a just peace rather than giving away our territory and then giving that territory to Russia as a place to then attack Ukraine further. They're very resilient. They've been fighting all this time. It's true. But they're tired. Are they ready for a deal?

Definitely. People want peace. Today, President Trump said, I saw the polls that 85%, maybe 1987, he said, I want peace, so they agree. I said, Yeah, this is our life. 87% support peace. At the same time, 85% against to withdraw from East, from the Donbas. It's meant that everybody wants peace, but just peace.

Zalinsky is then asked, Is there any indication that Putin wants peace by what he's saying? Watch Zalinsky's answer.

Is there any indication that you see that Vladimir Putin wants peace by what he's doing or saying?

Me not, be honest. I don't see it because, first of Well, I don't hear it publicly. His messages, they go... He doesn't speak about peace. Now, he doesn't speak. He says that he can go further. It's not the signals of peace.

You'll recall what Zelinsky's face looked like when Donald Trump was saying yesterday during that disastrous press conference that Putin actually wants to help Ukraine. Remember what Zelenskyy looked like? Play this clip.

Who are you with? Andrea Shalal with That's what I thought. In your conversation with President Putin, did you discuss what responsibility Russia will have for any reconstruction of Ukraine post an agreement? I did. They're going to be helping. Russia is going to be helping. Russia wants to see Ukraine succeed. It sounds a little strange, but I was explaining to the President, President Putin was very generous in his feeling toward Ukraine succeeding, including supplying energy, electricity, and other things at very low prices.

Then finally, checking in on our economy here in the United States, Justin Wolfers, incredible economist over at the University of Michigan, who's been, I think, just pitch perfect nailing what's taking place. Is it because of those employment numbers, some of the more worrying statistics we've Let me give a much simpler answer.

Look around you, read a newspaper, watch TV. It's chaos over here. There's another question in the consumer confidence survey that asks people about the degree of confidence that they have in how macroeconomic policy is being run. The share of Americans who rate macroeconomic policy right now as being poor is at an all time high, and it's not even close. We have not only tariff chaos, but generalized uncertainty. We have the White House deciding one day that it wants to shut down all the wind farms. We have companies walking into the White House like Intel and walking up with 10 % of their company lost down the back of the couch. And we have a new, different, and utterly bizarre set of headlines every day. And those headlines really do make it very difficult for anyone over here to do business.
