Transcript of Trump Gives Up...

Donald Trump is giving up. He was visibly shaken when he arrived at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. He held an impromptu press conference where he said there will be no further negotiations with Iran until after the midterm elections. He said that the war will magically resolve itself after the midterm elections are over, and that gas prices will magically go down to $2 a gallon once the midterm elections are over. Just you Wade, he says that's going to happen. It's right around the corner. Donald Trump held this impromptu press conference, as noted, on Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. He's on his way to the so-called Republican midterm convention that people are calling Trumpapalooza, but lots of people are saying it is a loser convention. MAGA Republicans do not even want to attend this event. Trump was asked questions about all the MAGA Republicans in close races who don't want to show up at this Republican midterm convention. Donald Trump lost it. and started screaming at the ABC reporter who asked the question, you're fake news, you're fake news. But this press conference began when the Qatari Air Force One appeared to be broken down yet again.

There appeared to be a major equipment malfunction. You can see over here what was going on. They had the old Air Force One. The actual Air Force One was on standby. And then Donald Trump looking visibly shaken, looking just completely out of it. He runs over to the press and he's like, Look, there's an issue with the slide. We're just fixing it. Everything's okay. It's all going to be all right. It's going to be about 15 minutes. Just watch for yourself over here as there are more problems with Qatari Air Force One here.

Checking the slide over here, and I think it's going to take 15 minutes. Uh, they were doing a check on the slide, you know. The emergency. So I think it takes about 15 minutes. So we're heading over to Dallas.

Then while that was going on, images started surfacing from Jordan where the United States military is apparently shuttling Black Hawk helicopters and other military equipment that was destroyed by Iran's strikes last night, which CENTCOM claims it didn't even hit our bases. When we saw all of these strikes, you can see these Black Hawks right there and other military equipment being shuttled pulled out of Jordan. Then Donald Trump, during this impromptu press conference, says, we're not even looking to do negotiations with Iran anymore. Why would we even want to do that? We'll wait until after the midterms, he says.

Uh, we're not looking for it, to be honest with you, Jeff. Originally, I wanted to make a deal. We're so far down the line. They have very little country left right now. So we're not looking for it. Yes, a negotiation could possibly happen. But it's not something we're looking at. This war will end immediately after our election. Thank you very much.

Then a reporter says, well, we've seen a lot of attacks in the Strait of Hormuz recently. What's going on? And Donald Trump's like, that's not Iran. All of the attacks are coming from us. Iran's not shooting at us at all. The level of lies from this disgusting Trump regime is just beyond belief. Just when you thought they couldn't lie anymore. Hey Donald, we saw the strikes yesterday that Iran did on the Jordan military bases. Iran struck multiple tankers in the Strait of Hormuz yesterday. Yes, the United States Navy did strike and destroy Iranian civil oil tankers. That is true. But Iran responded with force. What in the world is going on with it? Just so utterly embarrassing here.

A lot of attacks now in the Strait of Hormuz between the United States. Well, the attacks are, the attacks are made by us. We've knocked out 9 of their ships. I would say that the attacks are caused by us.

And you're gonna see, you're gonna see a lot more. We've taken out about 9 of their tankers.

Then Donald Trump says the war will end immediately after the election. Don't worry, that's when the war will magically be over.

Of their tankers, many of them are gonzo. Mr. President, we're going to find out. Oh, I think the war is going to end immediately after the election. I think the war will end immediately after the election because they can't hold out any longer.

And then Donald Trump says also, Uh, the price of gas will tumble down to $2 a gallon or less after the midterms. It'll just do it on its own. He's not explaining why that's the case as he just destroys our economy every day and makes things worse. As you know, the price of oil right now is over $101 a barrel. The price of diesel's over $6. The price of gas approaching $5. Here he is lying. So you can hear him for yourself say it's going to tumble down.

Shortly, but right in after the election, because they'd like to have it that way. But right after the election, oil prices are going to be tumbling downward. They're going to be tumbling down and we'll get them down. I think for gasoline, we'll get them below $2 a gallon.

But not until after the midterm.

I think it's going to take a little bit longer than the midterm.

And then Donald Trump tells a reporter— this is an ABC reporter— that the reason why Republicans are not coming to his midterms, the midterm convention, is that there's not enough room because it's just so crowded. Where are you from? He goes to the reporter. Where are you from? You're from ABC fake news. Got it. You're fake news. And just starts yelling at the reporter. You're the worst of the worst, he says.

Just go back to what Trump did during his first term with COVID right? We're going to bend the curve. Before Easter, there's not going to be COVID. And then right after that, he said, by the summer, it's all going to go away. And then when it was horrific, what did he do? He goes, I give myself an A. And when it was an absolute disaster, what do they do? Ah, it's Dr. Fauci's fault. It's Biden's fault. That's the pattern with these con artists. They destroy, they're the arsonists, then they blame. But pay attention because we need to get out of this cycle.

And then the American people love that they're paying more for gas. No one wanted to be in this war. You're lying about the nuclear threat. You claim you obliterated their nuclear capabilities last year during your first operation with Netanyahu. No one believes anything that you're saying.

Saying for weeks that oil and gas prices are going to come down. Oil is now back above $100 a barrel. How do you explain this to Americans who are wondering when—

Well, I think it's very easy to explain to America. All you have to do is say, uh, will you let Iran have a nuclear weapon? And the answer is no. And they're doing very poorly. Their country is in shambles right now.

Then Donald Trump says that he had a great conversation with Putin, that Putin wants to make a deal. He says, but the issue is Zelensky. And he said Zelensky needs to come to the table. And we're doing this again, just which is what he's always been doing.

He says Putin wants to—

Putin wants to have all of Ukraine for himself. That's what Putin wants to happen. And Zelensky doesn't want to do that deal, which is what Putin's been unable to achieve thus far in the invasion of Ukraine. But this is what Trump said here.

About your conversation with President Putin. We had a great conversation. Uh, he is wanting to make a deal. And if Zelensky is wanting to make a deal, that'd be very nice. What is the holdup?

And then Donald Trump said, you know, when it comes to Russia and Ukraine, what it's really about, it's just 2 people who hate each other. And Trump goes, I talk to people, okay? I know a lot about deals. He goes, that's what I do. I do deals. No, you do bankruptcy. You do destruction. You don't do deals.

A plane carrying Zelensky was almost hit by a drone while taking off from Moldova en route to Oslo. Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said his flight was almost hit by a drone when it was taking off from Moldova. an assassination attempt by Russia, by Putin, Støre told Norwegian broadcaster NRK, adding, this is the reality that he lives in. Zelensky arrived in Oslo to attend the funeral of Norway's King Harald V and later met Støre to discuss European air defense cooperation. And all the while, Donald Trump just posted this video on his social media platform. I'll just show you a short portion of it. So after yesterday's massive attack by Iran on American military bases in Jordan, This is some weird promo video that— a hype video that Donald Trump is posting.
