Donald Trump is facing massive backlash after that bizarre IndyCar event that he did yesterday, where you had Natalie Harp and Melania in the luxury box. It was such an odd event. Trump was doing that while the American people are suffering, and the American people are letting Donald Trump know what they feel about it. You go to the White House and Trump Instagram account, where Elon Musk's algorithm doesn't apply, Look at some of these comments. I mean, there are tens of thousands of comments like this. Is anyone sick and tired of these dog and pony shows? First the military parade, then it's the UFC fight on the White House lawn. Now it's NASCAR racing in Washington, DC. Does anyone else see a pattern here? Bread and circus parades before Rome fell. Except can't even have bread parades where our bread here is contaminated because Trump and Musk use Doge to destroy a lot of the departments that deal with that. You have comments like this: Flag is as green as the reflection pool algae. That's way over budget. Waving the flag like Forrest Gump would. No offense, Forrest. The economy is cooked. Everyone is being priced out.
Jobs are being eroded and wages do not match inflation, cost of living, et cetera. It's a sad reality. With an approval of 33%, I don't think so. and lower costs need work on that one. And it's Trump holding the green flag. And he goes, when they trust in Trump, voted for a closed border, and have no pronouns in the bio. And people are like, what are you talking about? We have $40 trillion in national debt. Our country has pronouns though. Gotta love that the first word of our Constitution is a pronoun. Are the cattle farmers in here yet? Just wanted to know how supported you feel by the news about the beef product imports. And I could go on and on and on. Obviously, you know, Donald Trump bringing in mystery frozen beef from foreign countries to undercut American ranchers by 25%. But Trump won't show anybody what deal he's talking about, which countries he's doing the deal with. All you need to know if you are a rancher in the United States, You're going to be undercut based on Donald Trump's price controls by 25%. Now Donald Trump making deranged post after deranged post this morning as well.
Early this morning, he writes, Iran is completely collapsing. DJT. Didn't you say late April that the oil was going to get clogged in the pipes of Iran and then it was all just gonna blow up? Didn't you post exact messages like this every single March, April, May, June, July, August. I guess 2 more weeks, Donald, right? Then this morning, Donald Trump attacks Canada again. Donald Trump posts, Canada has been ripping off the United States of America for years. Their ridiculously high tariffs on our farmers and farm products has made life impossible for these great American patriots and has long created a $60 billion deficit between our 2 countries. centuries. Donald Trump basically wants to make Canada into his Dr. Fauci. And Trump wants to create a lot of Dr. Faucis now as he destroys the United States economy, where Trump just finds somebody to blame. As Donald Trump promised, you're all going to get rich, things are going to be amazing. And then he's going to say, we were so close, but then the Democrats won the midterms. We were so close, but then Canada destroyed us. We were so close, but then I had to get involved in this war with Iran, this catastrophic and unlawful war.
And then Donald Trump goes, it's not sustainable anymore. It's not. On January 1st, 2027, tariffs on all cars, trucks, both large and small, automotive parts, and steel will be increased to 50% against Canada. Build in the US and there are zero tariffs. Canada will be treated like a state no longer. What a weird predator you are. What do you mean treated like a state? Canada is a proud sovereign nation. They don't want to be a state. This is what I've said about Donald Trump. You cannot do a deal with a bad person, but you cannot do a deal when it comes to Donald Trump with a demented sexual predator who separately is a felon and a fraud and a bankruptor his whole life. You can't even have a rational conversation with the guy. You can't do a deal. with this sicko. And he's never done deals his whole life. He's always used negotiation as a way to lure a party into the pretext of good faith to sucker punch them. Trump is a sucker puncher, the worst type of person, okay? And that's who Donald Trump's been his whole life. So he goes on trade in other ways.
They are among the worst nations in the world, Canada. I think Midas Touch chief economist Justin Wolfers says it so perfectly. So Trump is trying to boost the US economy by making it harder for Americans to trade with the rest of the world, but he's also promising to destroy Iran's economy by making it harder for Iranians to trade with the rest of the world. Yeah, it's about the logic of an idiot who at 2 AM in the morning post George Washington meme saying, we fought a revolution and worked to give you people freedom. Don't sit back and give it away to terrorists posing as a political party. Meanwhile, in Iran, they're just mocking the United States right now. Iran's parliament leader, MB Ghalibaf, who's their top civilian politician, posted the following: Make America hungry again. You can't cover up defeats with false claims. And then in Iran, again, their top civilian leader posts this image. Make America hungry again. 47 million Americans face hunger every day. 1 in 8 Americans struggle with hunger. 16 million children in the US go hungry every day. Food insecurity exists in every country, in every county in America. Meanwhile, in Canada, Ontario's Premier Doug Ford says Canada should be ready to cut electricity, critical minerals, and anything else we can do to stand up and punch back at the bully.
Doug Ford, speaking in an interview with the Associated Press this morning, said Donald Trump has underestimated Canadians' willingness to endure economic pain. rather than give in to the US pressure. And I wanna make this point right here. You know, I, and probably you, disagree with Doug Ford on a lot of issues. He is a right-wing conservative premier of Ontario, but you see him uniting with the NDP, the more left-wing, far left-wing premiers like David Eby of British Columbia, Wab Kinew of Manitoba, and then uniting with the more center-left prime minister. I mean, Canada is united and ready to fight. And Doug Ford says, Trump underestimated Canada. We're all in up here. We're at a fever pitch. Everyone is in for the economic war. They know they're going to have to sacrifice. And then he says, everything is on the table, including cutting off electricity and critical minerals from Ontario. He also called for Canada to consider using oil and potash as leverage. I'll cut them off. You won't get a grain of sand out of Ontario. And then he goes on to even talk about high-grade nickel that shipped to the United States and uranium refined in Ontario.
We'll do it all, he says. We power 1.5 million homes and businesses. Everything's on the table. I'll do whatever it takes. And what's notable too, is we should never have done this ever. But it just goes to show you the utter stupidity of Donald Trump.

So according to the latest figures, the US has just 41 days of crude oil inventory left, the lowest level in a half century in the Strategic Petroleum Reserves. Let me repeat that just so you probably said, whoa, whoa, what? 41 days? Yeah. The US has 41 days of crude oil inventory left in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. You know how I've been warning we've hit tank bottom? Well, now we're getting lower and lower and lower where we just run out of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. But what else would you expect with somebody like Donald Trump who bankrupted most of the companies he's been affiliated with in his life? This is a guy who bankrupted casino after casino. I don't say this in a political sense. It's just in a objective fact. Dude is a bankruptor. He is a loser, and he bankrupts things, and then he loots for himself, and then moves on to the next con. And I note this as well. Remember in the past week, week and a half, you had the crypto bros all meeting at the White House? Do you remember that meeting? I covered it here on the Midas Touch Network.
You know what happened? The very next day after the whole crypto community leadership showed up at the White House? Well, we now see a massive rise in the value of crypto. It's now at $78,000 and it continues to rise. And I don't know, you put a bunch of people, you know, used to say they did the backroom cigar smoke-filled rooms where they would do this. I mean, they kind of did it right in front of us, in my opinion. about what was going on, you know, and you had Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. He released his op-ed where he oddly cited Blaise Pascal's Pascal's Wager. It's like the most bizarre op-ed I've ever read. I did a video on it this morning. An economic D-Day is coming for Iran. He's like, as the 17th century mathematician philosopher Blaise Pascal once said, What Blaise Pascal's wager was, a wager saying that people should believe in God infinitely because you get infinite rewards versus not believing in God. And it was a kind of logic tree that whether you agree with it or not, I don't under— are you saying the United States is God, Bessent? Are you saying you are God and our allies should infinitely agree with the United States?
No matter what the United States says, because I guess that's the only reading. But nobody trusts you. And when you quote Blaise Pascal, you sound like a psycho. Like, it's literally a psycho op-ed that you wrote. And then your actions show that you're panicking. So you're like, anyone who does business with Iran, we are going to crush you. Okay, well, we're going to do that to China. Is that what you're gonna do? You're gonna do it? Good, good luck with that. And then they don't do it, and then China's like, yeah, these are a bunch of freaking clowns. They're a bunch of grifter clowns in the White House who don't know what the hell they're doing. And then 24 hours after Bessence, Blaise Pascal, we are God, trust us, this is what we learn. The Treasury could now be using nearly $1 trillion in its general account to help fund its recently announced plans to increase purchases of government bonds, according to 2 senior Treasury officials. Using the general account would provide the Treasury with considerable firepower to influence long-term bond yields. Central planning, anybody? Getting a theme here? And remember last week, the bond buyback scheme failed.
Remember that? Where they were going to raise the bond buyback level from $2 billion to $4 billion, buy back long-term Treasury bonds, and then sell more short-term. Kind of seemed a little bit like a Ponzi scheme to try to lower the yields of the 10, 20, and 30-year Treasuries. I mean, you think about it, what that basically means, right, is the US is paying massive amounts of interest on the overall debt. $1.3 trillion a year of our taxpayer money is servicing the debt. And as these yields continue to rise, that number gets higher. So Bessent manipulated the market last week for about half a day, and then the Treasury yields went up higher than they were before his bond buyback scheme. And so now he went from $4 billion to say, well, I've got $1 trillion now in the general account. Well, I think it's a liability on the Fed's balance sheet, number one. But setting that aside, our debt is $40 trillion. So you have $1 trillion in the general account. So how much are you going to draw that down to? What, take out long-term interest to take out the long-term bonds and what, start selling a bunch of new ones?
You're still going to have to pay. Um, you know, I think Peter Schiff— I don't agree with him on a lot of things, but I think he's right here. Bessette's plan to use the general account to fund Treasury buybacks makes possible exactly what I warned would happen. This reckless plan will substantially shorten the average maturity of the national debt, increasing our exposure to rising short-term rates and making it even harder for the Fed to hike rates without exploding federal interest expenses and budget deficits. It's a recipe for massive quantitative easing and runaway inflation. This is the type of stuff you see in developing failed nations that used to need bailouts, you know, from like, you know, the, these, the international monetary kind of groups. Like, what, what in the world are we doing here? And again, it is demonstrating a panic by a Treasury Secretary who couldn't manage his own $5 billion fund in the past. So let me share with you just a few more things that I think are important data points before I do other videos in the day. This morning, we also learned that US-South Korea had to cancel the Sangyeong amphibious exercise due to US forces being stretched thin by the Iran war.
This was actually decided in July, we've learned, before Donald Trump separately ordered the August exercises cut from 11 days to 5 days, and now trying to embolden Kim Jong-un. And Kim Jong-un and his sister are like, yeah, we're— we don't want to meet with you, Donald. We're not having any conversations with Donald. And so we're seeing the United States just destroy, like implode. Nationwide. And I'll leave you with these 2 data points. Number one, who are the humans who also help prop this up? I mean, you have this sycophantic, bootlicking, awful MAGA Republican virus. And I say it not even in a political sense. I say it in— I appreciate people who use their judgment and common sense. I don't want to live in a Kim Jong-un By the way, I was saying, I was going to say I don't want to live in a Kim Jong-un North Korea. Of course that's true. Trump's weirder than— honestly, I'm not trying to be hyperbolic here. Trump and the MAGA Republicans look far less mature and they look far more unpredictable and crazy than Kim Jong-un's North Korea. Objectively, objectively right now. I'll show you. You've got MAGA Republican Congressmember Timmons talking about Darlene Graham, warmonger Lindsey Graham's sister, having zero experience.
And I just want you to see like how these MAGA Republicans behave. Like, yeah, she doesn't need to know anything about foreign policy. We don't, we don't care about that. We just need her and Donald Trump to get along. What? Here, play this clip. Darlene has to balance her checkbook every, every week. She knows what it's like going through Food Lion checkout and wondering if she has enough for everything. I mean, this is silly for us to talk about the South China Sea and Taiwan. The position is very simple. She needs to support the president and she needs to support the military, and she'll learn the rest as she goes. And then you had Darlene Graham on American state regime media Fox having this puff piece interview, and she's like, I don't think that the people care that I know anything about Taiwan. They just care about groceries. Yeah, they do care about groceries. Of course they do. You and Trump have made them more expensive, but we have to understand the root cause. International affairs is what's impacting the cost of our groceries and impacting the cost of gas. It's international affairs that impacts it, and you as a senator should understand and know these things.
Come on, people. Here, let's play this clip.
So I bring a lot to the table. I'm experienced. I'm just not a politician. But you know what I say? Who else wasn't a politician when they started the job? Our president, right? President Trump. I know during the debate you caught some heat for not answering the question about Taiwan. I'm just gonna be honest here. I'm not on national security that— I'm not that informed on national security. Well, one thing I'm proud of, and I talked to a lot of people and they said, you know what, I'm proud of you too. They said, because you were honest. They said, we don't get that in a lot of politicians. You're honest. And they're like, Taiwan? We're worried about the price of groceries, not Taiwan. But I said 10 times on the debate stage, I know China is an enemy of ours, right? And economic and national security. Taiwan, of course, is a friend.
