Welcome to Ben Meisellis on Breaking News. I'm Ben Meisellas, and this is the Breaking News. Apologize for the scheduling change. Normally, the show airs 4: 30 Eastern, 1: 30 Pacific. But we had these shadow hearings taking place, and congressmen Robert Garcia was going to be asking some powerful questions. We got a word that that was going to be taking place, and it was of one of the individuals who was shot five times by Donald Trump's Border Patrol Gestapo in Chicago, Mirimar Martinez. I'm going to play that clip in just a moment of what went down. But Congress member Garcia was going through the text messages that the Border Patrol Gestapo was sending to each other after shooting Mirimar Martinez five times. They tried to frame her and say that she was ramming her vehicle into the Border Patrol and ICE vehicle. They shot her five times. They arrested her. They basically dragged her out of the hospital while she was still getting treated. Then they sent text... The Border Patrol and ICE Gestapo were sending text messages to each other, vile, sexualized, violent, disgusting messages to each other that the Democrats in the House and the Senate were able to unearth and that Miriamar Martinez's lawyers unearthed during the criminal case, which was ultimately dismissed against Miriamar after all of the evidence came to light.

00:02:10

So that's why we're starting when we're starting, because I think it was very important to show those shadow hearings that the Democrats are holding live. The overall shadow hearing was about border patrol and ICE, their invasions, their use of force, their terrorism on our streets. So let me just show you, Congress member Garcia, reading these text messages, trigger warning. Stuff is very, very disgusting, grotesque. Words can't even Can you describe what this is? Here, I'll play this clip. It's disgusting, shameful, and it gets worse. Ms. Martinez, these are images of text sent by the agent who shot you. They're They're actually disturbing to read, but I think it's important for the public to see this. The agent linked an article about your shooting and texted, Read it. Five shots, seven holes. I fired five rounds, and she had seven holes. Put that in your book, boys. Oh, well, it is what it is. Shit happens. This is someone that works for the United States government. I I fired five rounds and she had seven holes. Now, he was talking about you, and it's our understanding that he was actually bragging about his aim, shooting an unarmed American citizen.

00:03:44

Is that right? Correct. I'm so sorry, Ms. Martinez. Dhs has allowed the agent who shot you to remove evidence and to potentially destroy it. Is that correct? Correct. If you're wondering, well, how did How did we even get here? Well, the person in the oval office is a felon, is a fraud, is a banqueter, someone who was Epstein's close friend, someone who has been found in a federal court by a federal jury in a civil case to be a sexual abuser. By the full jury, they found he was a sexual abuser. This is someone who who on audio, bragged about molesting or grabbing women by their vaginas because he says you're rich and you get away with it when you're rich. It's someone who said, Epstein's a great guy who likes women on the younger side. It's someone who said he uses his beauty pageants of girls to inspect their naked bodies. When you put someone with zero character or in fact has the character of a felon and all of those things, I just said, this is what manifestsests, and this is why you can't normalize this behavior because the split screen taking place, what was going on there in the shadow hearings and what was going on in the oval office as Donald Trump was asked by Kaitlyn Collins of CNN about the Epstein files.

00:05:27

The fact that Donald Trump's name is in those files 38,000 times in the partial release of the 3 million documents on Friday. Let me just repeat that. 38,000 times in 5,000 documents and not passing references like, Oh, Donald Trump's the President. No, some of the most grotesque and vile of conduct alleged against Donald Trump by confidential informants, by women, by girls. To be clear, they're just allegations. They need to be investigated. Real accountability is needed. To be clear, in other countries, this is toppling world leaders right now. Poland has launched a full-fledged investigation to determine if the Epstein files permeated its ranks at the highest level. You have Slovakia's National Defense Minister having to resign. You have Lord Mendelsohn in the UK having to leave his political liberal party. Basically, he already resigned his position as UK ambassador to the United States. You have people rightfully talking about whether the owner of the New York Giants, Steve Tisch, who's in these things, should lose the team. These Our accountability is starting, finally, a little bit, but not in the cabal, the center of the cabal, which is the White House. It's where it's originating and emanating from.

00:07:16

38,000 times. Think about 38,000 times of anything. Imagine your name being mentioned 38,000 times anywhere over the course of your life. They It should just be called the Trump files at this point. 38,000. We've done deep dives, as you know, on the Midas Touch Network into all of the dark secrets that lurk in those files. We went through everything. I should mention, Trump's DOJ then retraumatized the victims and survivors by giving their identities and personal identifying information. Heck, there was an entire file of photos of underage girls that they released. They had one job. The one job was just redact the names and faces of the victims and the survivors and the personal identifying information and release everything else. When I was a litigator, we would deal with far more documents than this. They like to go, Oh, if you stack up the documents, it's taller than the Washington... Who cares? That's what lawyers deal with. You deal with terabytes of documents. You have software that helps you. You work in teams. You figure it out. You don't whine about it. It was actually an easy task that they had. Release all the files, red back the photos of the survivors and the victims.

00:08:49

The Trump DOJ leaked all of that information, put all that information out. When that was their one task, we had to reach out to the DOJ at the Midas Touch Network saying, There was a whole file of underage girls. Take it down. What are you doing? What are you doing? They finally took that file down. The hell is going on here? But this is what Donald Trump was doing in the Oval Office, where he said, well, it's time we move on, he said. He goes, And now there's nothing that came out about me in these files. That's bad. I'm vindicated. Here's what he said moments ago in the Oval. Let's play this clip. And you tell me something else. I think it's really time for the country to get onto something else, really. Now that nothing came out about me other than there was a conspiracy against me, literally by Epstein and other people. But I think it's time now for the country to maybe get onto something else. What would you say people feel that they haven't gotten justice, Mr. President? Something that people care about. Let's play the other clip, too, Jeremy, that we've got.

00:10:00

Let's play the other one. Time for the country to get onto something else, really. Now that nothing came out about me, other than it was a conspiracy against me, literally by Epstein and other people. But I think it's time now for the country to maybe get onto something else. What would you say to people feel that they have gotten justice, Mr. President? Something that people care about. What would you say? What would you say to the survivors? You are the worst reporter. No wonder. Cnn has no ratings because of people like you. She's a young woman. I don't think I've ever seen you smile. I've known you for 10 years. I don't think I've ever seen a smile on your face. You know why you're not smiling? Because you know you're not telling the truth. You're a very dishonest organization, and they should be ashamed of you. Okay, go ahead. Mr. President, you mentioned health care. It's hard to appropriately frame in words what a vile scumbag he is. You're a young woman, you're a young female. Why aren't you smiling when she's talking about survivors who are raped by Jeffrey Epstein and a child sex trafficking ring, where we've seen why aren't you smiling?

00:11:20

She should be laughing. Is that what he believes the survivors and the victim should be smiling and saying, Thank you, Donald. Thank you, Donald. They should be... I don't get how anybody of any political... I don't care less if you're a Democrat, if you're an independent, if you're a Republican, what we just observed is a vile scumbag human. A vile scumbag. Can we all Is that how we think other human beings just should take away the politics of them? Why aren't you smiling, you're a young woman, when she's talking about the damage and the pain and the suffering of survivors of a child sex trafficking ring with photos of underage girls by Trump's DOJ being put out there? While Trump goes, I've been vindicated and everything is great and everything is, and if anything, it was a conspiracy against me. You know how he roots it and centers it back in him, that it was all... They were all out to get Donald. No, Donald. They were out to get the underage girls. That's what was happening. You want to know where it was happening also? At your home, at your damn home in Mar-a-Lago.

00:13:11

That was one of the areas of ground zero where child sex trafficking was taking place. It's undisputed. It's like, Oh, man, he's going to sue you. You're getting content. It's an undisputed fact that Virginia Dufrey, an underage girl, was sex trafficked and found by Donald Trump's own words. He took the property. Epstein took the property from Donald. That's how he referred to Virginia Dufrey, from Mar-a-Lago at the Spa. The Mar-a-Lago spa was brought to Epstein's house a few miles down the road. That's what was happening. It is a moment where we should just reflect 13 minutes into the show, where I've only shown three clips. One, Donald Trump's paramilitary officers, locking a young lady who they shot five times that she has seven holes because they shot her five times, boys. Seven holes, boys, is what Trump's paramilitary was texting each other after shooting and almost killing a young lady who was innocent, then framing her, then locking her and sexualizing her and trying to throw her in prison. But for her lawyers getting her hands on those documents, After almost killing her, they would have tried to throw her in jail for the rest of her life.

00:14:49

You have that. Then you have Donald Trump saying to Kaitlyn Collins, Why aren't you smiling? You're a young lady. She's like, Because I'm talking to you about child sex trafficking when your name is all over these files 38,000 times and Americans want answers and you're out here claiming you're vindicated? Sorry if it's difficult to ever want to even speak to anybody who supports Donald Trump. How could you Because it tells me if you've watched what we just watched in 15 minutes of this episode, you are a sick, sick human. Because a normal human's response to what I just showed you in these 15 minutes is to not just be angry, but to be so overwhelmed with anger that you struggle to grasp for the right words words, because your entire perception of reality and the world is so hurt by the fact that you genuinely have a cabal of these oligarchs who have caused such pain and suffering to the world and used child sex trafficking as their currency for Black whaling each other, for trading favors. The child sex trafficking of underage girls was used as the chips, if you will, in their game of inflicting pain and suffering through all these other ways.

00:16:49

I mean, you think about it, permeating the files that talk about the underage child sex trap. You have discussions about propping up the mega fascist, Brazilian former President, Bolsonaro, talking about Brexit, talking about working with Putin in all these different ways, talking about propping up Bitcoin, talking about the annexation of Crimea. It wasn't like Epstein just talking to like Randos. He was talking to like The main royal in the United Arab Emirates, the family that Trump right now just took $500 million to his own company for, World Liberty Financial, and then gave our semiconductor chips to the most highly classified, highly sensitive information we have in the United States, just gave it over to the United Arab Emirates after they invest $500 million in Trump's company. Then Trump is like, I don't know anything about that. But Epstein is talking to that royal family. Epstein is talking to the former Prime Minister of Norway. Epstein is talking to Steve Banon on a daily basis who Donald Trump posted about yesterday. Donald Trump posted a photo yesterday of Steve Banon saying, This is such a great guy, and he just thinks we're stupid. Oh, Donald, you're just posting a photo randomly of Steve Banon yesterday.

00:18:25

Oh, maybe it's not... You just think we're stupid. You're posting it, of Of course, because you're trying to signal to Steve Banon, I still got your back. Don't talk shit about me. Don't say the truth about me. That's why I'm posting. Here's a great guy who's been treated really unfairly. You think we don't realize that that's why you were posting photos of Steve Banon yesterday? You've got Epstein speaking to that guy, Lord Mandelson, one of the top people at the time in the UK. You've got Epstein talking to Ahoud Barak, The former Prime Minister of Israel. They're all talking about meetings with Putin, meetings with this, meetings with that, meetings with that. The deeper you go into these files, it is a dark rabbit hole to go down. But it is the truth. For all of these years, Trump and his MAGA thugs have been weaponizing all of this stuff against their political enemies. It didn't make much sense. It means like, pizza gate, where you're talking about using the pizza as a code word for children, and that it's happening at the pizza restaurants. Like, what the hell are they even talking about? You go through the files and they're using pizza as the code word, quite frequently, it appears, for their dastardly acts.

00:20:10

They were literally just using all of the sick things they were doing to project it upon everybody else. Deep state this, deep state. They were it. They were doing it. They were the ones. Then Kaitlyn Collins asks a question, Why aren't you smiling. Then, of course, the Howard Lutnik stuff in there. When Howard Lutnik brought his children, apparently, to Epstein Island and told Jeffrey Epstein, Yeah, I've got a 13-year-old. I got an 11-year-old. My friend's got nine-year-olds. After Lutnik said, Oh, remember Lutnik's interview with Miranda Devine of the New York Post? Remember we showed you that interview and Howard Lutnik was like, Epstein was my I think he bought his home from Epstein next door. He said, Hey, neighbor, you want to come over in 2005? I went into Epstein's house. He said, I want to give you a tour, Howard. I took a tour. We got up there to the living room. There was a massage table. I said, A massage table in the middle of a living room? Epstein says, You know, The massages I like. I said, I'm getting out of here. I went back to my wife and I said, darling, that man is disgusting.

00:21:44

I've never, ever had a professional or business or anything with him ever again. You're all over the files, bud. You're all over. Brought your kids to the freaking island, apparently. He gave you $50,000 in 2017 when you got some award. So communicating. That's why for me, I None of this is political. When people say, Oh, you're this liberal podcast. This is the leftist podcast. What are we saying? What are we talking I don't think I've described anything right now that to me feels actually political. I'm trying to just talk about some common sense stuff that we should all, all of us agree to. Jeremy, do we have that post of the Texas delegate, the J6th activist, as she calls herself? And she was posting on social media. Here's what she writes. Her name is Trisha Hope. I feel physically ill, as MAGA as you can get. She calls herself a J6 activist. I feel physically ill knowing I work so hard to support Trump, and it appears he is a sick pedophile. I can't fathom the evil mind a person has to have to harm children. I think she posted something else as well, where J.

00:23:28

D. Vance That he wants to talk about today, fantastic lineup for the Turning Point USA halftime show, including the great Bob Richie, a. K. A. Kid Rock. And this Trisha Hope says, not a word about Epstein files from Turning Points. But watch the halftime show, Pound Sand. Horrible. Horrible, horrible stuff. Now, I did a whole deep dive on Putin's name being mentioned in these files. Hey, Jeremy, before I show what Trump said about Putin today, in the stack that I sent you earlier, yesterday, he was also talking about Putin, and I think we have this, where he said that Putin agreed because it's so cold in Ukraine Ukraine. Putin said that he would stop sending Shahid drones and ballistic missiles and cruise missiles. Trump didn't use the word ceasefire yesterday when he was in the oval office, but he implied that there was going to be a brief reprieve, a time where Ukraine could have some rest. In fact, yesterday, Zelenskyy started posting and saying, You see, when the United States President actually gets involved and applies pressure, finally, there were no missile strikes or Shahids, and in negative 22 degrees, we can finally have some room to breathe.

00:25:14

They were thankful and they were grateful for just a very short period of time of no bombings from Russia. Donald Trump was asked about that yesterday. So first, let's play yesterday, and then, Jeremy, I'm going to show the one from today. But let's go back to what he said yesterday in the oval office. Let's play. There's tremendous hatred between Zelenskyy and Putin. Tremendous hatred. I mean, it's a shame, but it's taking longer than we thought. I did call up President Putin, and he's agreed and put it out to. They have the same cold wave that we do. Maybe different because it's pretty far away, but it's the equivalent. Ukraine is a very cold country. It's much colder than us. Colder than they say... On average, it's Canada or colder. And on top of that, they have a tremendous cold wave. Then I asked him if he wouldn't shoot for a period of one week, no missiles going into Kyiv or any other towns, and he's agreed to do it. So it's something. That was yesterday. While that was taking place, Putin had launched one of the biggest strikes over the Of course, of the war in Kyiv and Kharkiv.

00:26:34

Hundreds of Shahid drones, ballistic missiles, hitting residential areas. That's what it looked like about an hour after Donald Trump said that. Okay? So Donald Trump was asked about that today. Here's what he said today. On Ukraine, Mr. President, yesterday, you were talking about how Vladimir Putin had agreed to a pause during the cold weather. Over Even like those attacks have started up again. It was Sunday. It was Sunday to Sunday, and it opened up, and he hit him hard last night. No, he kept his word on that. It's a lot. One week will take anything because it's really, really cold over there. But it was on Sunday, and he went from Sunday to Sunday. You just wanted he didn't go further or go longer? I want him to end the war. Okay, well, Donald Trump promised that on day one, after the election, that the war, that Russia started, Russia invaded, Russia's the bad guy. You saw how he was describing it in the first clip. Zolinsky and Putin, they don't like each other. Well, I wouldn't like somebody who burglarized my home. Does that make me as culpable as the burglar? Okay, Ukraine is far worse.

00:28:06

What happened in Ukraine? They got invaded. They got invaded. And by the way, go through those Epstein files. Epstein is identified as Putin's money manager by an FBI high-level confidential informant. Epstein is Putin's money manager. When you go through the files, he's having meetings with Putin, or at least describing him, not with random people, people who are Prime ministers who would know Putin. So it seems to be conceivable that those meetings actually were taking place. Epstein referred to all the great opportunities that would arise out of the annexation of Crimea in 2014. Donald Trump, right there, after promising he would end the war on day one, he said, even before inauguration, We'll take anything. Putin kept his word. He said what he was going to say. You know, yet again, I just, I genuinely wonder Not because of a political affiliation I have, just as a human being. I wonder, and especially all that we know now with the 38,000 references to Donald Trump in the Epstein files and the thousands of references to Putin and the references to everybody else in this thing. I don't get how another human being can watch watch what I just showed you and support that guy and like that guy and think that that's a good guy.

00:30:11

I understand his approval is at 37%, but 37% still means 37% of a country of over 300 million people like this guy. Still, with all that I've showed you in the first 29 minutes of this episode, I then don't get what is disqualifying for you. Nothing. You must get off on this stuff. You must share that same pathology, that MAGA-zombified pathology. We'll talk more about that when we come back. The Midas Touch Network sent a reporter named Secret Service Sam to check out movie theaters in Los Angeles and Pasadena and the surrounding areas to see if people were actually seeing the Melania movie. And so we wanted to investigate if there was waste, fraud, and abuse behind the Melania Trump movie. Here was our findings. What did you just tell me, you said? I They're saying that they're saying that people are paying for... They're paying people to watch the movie, so it's pretty empty. Wow. That sounds like evidence of fraud. Secret Service, Sam here for the Midas Touch Network, and I am so excited because I am here outside the theater in Pasadena.

00:34:33

This is the entertainment capital of the world, and I am here to see the Melania movie. Is this fraud? I'm not sure. It's packed. Patriot Secret Service, Sam here outside the Regal in downtown LA to see my final showing of Melania the Bomb. I mean, the movie. That guy just told me they've actually paid people to come see this movie, but I got the limited popcorn. Let's go in the theater and check this one out. I'm sitting in row F8, F for fraud, and I've been told I'm the only person in this showing. Now, this is laughable. There is just... They don't even have a proper sign. Never seen anybody talk about their mom's death with such little emotion. He just told Melania that he won, and she didn't give a shit at all. Dear G, how are you? Nice story about J. E. In the New You look great on the picture. I know you are very busy flying all over the world. I've never seen so many people in a movie. How is Palm Beach? I cannot wait to go down. Give me a call when you are back in New York. Have a great time.

00:35:45

I love Melania. This is the best, most empty estate I've ever been in. This is great. I've never been able to stand in the front row of a movie. Nobody's asking me to sit down. This is great. Have you ever watched a movie this close? Is anybody in here? Give me an E. Give me a P. Give me an S. Give me a T. Give me an E. Give me an I. Give me an N. What's that spell? Epstein files. That is fraud. That is fraud. Nobody is in there. It was just me. Hey, guys, how are you doing? That Melania movie is terrible. Don't go see it, guys. Do not. That's some real investigation creative work right there. Thank you, Secret Service, Sam, for the service you did to our nation there in identifying the waste, fraud, and abuse at the Melanium movie. I think it's undisputed what we just observed right there. I want to show you, though, what these MAGA sycophants in the House of Representatives are saying today. This was a press conference that they held. Here's MAGA Republican Congresswoman Lisa McClane. Here's what she had to say about Donald Trump recently.

00:37:02

Here's how she believes he's been acting. Let's play it. Strongest President ever. I have complete trust in President Trump that he will continue to enforce the rule of law, including each and every one of our immigration laws. Strongest, strongest man ever. I mean, these people are the biggest clowns. I don't even know how. I truly don't even know how these people exist. Maga Mike Johnson, Republican Speaker of the House, says that you can't in any way lighten the enforcement requirement of federal immigration law. That's what the American people demand and deserve. Here, play this clip. We have to make sure we maintain the important parameters here. We can't move down, go down the road of amnesty. You can't in any way lighten the enforcement requirement of federal immigration law. That's what the American people demand and deserve. We want dangerous illegal criminals to be sent out of the country, and they've been very successful at that. I'll just show you this. By now, we have a Washington, DC, bureau, and Pablo Monriquez has been doing a great job. I think Pablo asked Maga Mike one of the best questions, and he talked about Matthew 25: 35 because Maga Mike always always wants to cite scripture about the atrocities.

00:38:35

So we figured, our reporter, who brilliant, this is why independent media is so needed right now. Pablo says, Can you defend utilizing scripture based on Matthew 25: 35, the way you all are treating migrants? Here, play this of it. Pope Leo has cited Matthew 25: 35 to critique Donald Trump's mass deportation agenda. How would you respond to Pope Leo in scripture? So you want me to give you a theological dissertation? I do. All right. I'll tell you what, I'll post it on my website later today, but let me give you a quick summer. Borders and walls are biblical. From the Old Testament to the new, God has allowed us to set up our civil societies and have separate nations. Immigration is not something that's frowned upon in scripture. In fact, it's welcome. We're going to welcome the sojourner and love our neighbor as ourselves. But what's also important in the Bible is that assimilation is expected and anticipated and proper. When someone comes into your country, comes into your nation, they do not have the right to change its laws or to change a society. They're expected to assimilate. We haven't had a lot of that going on.

00:39:49

When people cite passages out of the Old Testament, they say, Well, you're supposed to take care of the sojourner and the neighbor and treat them as yourself. Welcome them in. Yes, but that is an admonition to individuals, not to the civil authorities. The civil authorities are given authority under scripture to maintain order. Romans 12, you want to view this? Romans 13 says that the civil authorities are God's agents of a wrath to bring punishment upon the wrongdoer. It says, If you do right, you have no fear of the civil authorities. But those civil authorities are necessary. It's a calling. It's a calling to maintain order in society, and we have not had that. When Biden and Harris opened the borders wide for four years, we had as many as 20 million Many illegals come across the country. We all know many dangerous people, hardened criminals, child molesters, rapists, murderers, all the rest, terrorists who came into the country. We did not take care of our borders. Sovereign borders are biblical and good and right, and they're just because it's not because we hate the people on the outside, it's because we love the people on the inside.

00:40:48

We should love our neighbor as ourself as individuals, but as a civil authority, and the government has to maintain the law. That is biblical, and it's right, and it's just. I'm happy to have this lengthy debate with anybody anytime they want to, and I'll post on my X page the longer dissertation on that for you today. Okay? Thank you. Did he cite Romans 12: 13? I thought that's what he said, to say that his view is that his God endorses ice and border patrol. Is that really what we just heard him say? I just googled what is Ryan. Excuse my ignorance that I don't know what Romans 12: 13 says, but Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. It doesn't seem to be what he said. There, that's what I heard him saying, Romans 12: 13. It's a Google search. What about Todd Blanch? What's the official position of our Department of Justice? Todd Blanch is basically the top official at the DOJ. He's the Deputy AG who promulgates what's the DOJ's policy positions? What is the handbook? What does the manual say? What's the guidance to prosecutors? Let's listen to what Todd Blanch has to say as it relates to Jeffrey Epstein.

00:42:15

This is the guidance to investigators about partying with Epstein. Let's play it. Some of the people we saw on camera at the rallies. Is there any chance that any of these individuals who partied with Epstein and engaged in relations with miners will be prosecuted? Any chance? I'll never say no. We will always investigate any evidence of misconduct. But as you know, it is not a crime to party with Mr. Epstein. As horrible as it is, it's not a crime to email with Mr. Epstein. Some of these men may have done horrible things. If we have evidence that allows us to prosecute them, you better believe we will. But it's also the thing that the American people need to understand that it isn't a crime to party with Mr. Epstein. It isn't a crime to have. It didn't look like that's all that was going on on some of those photos. I mean, if the photos could speak, some of them look pretty bad. That's right. Unfortunately, photos can't speak. We need witnesses and we need evidence. Are there videotapes that you all have? That's the official position. That's what they're going with. That the DOJ's view as partying with Epstein.

00:43:25

Not that bad. Even Laura Ingram is like, Yeah, but some of the The photos look really bad. Some of the videos, the emails look really bad. Really bad. They're going to go with, Partying with Epstein is great, all good. And Trump's going to go with the only thing the Epstein files showed about Donald was that Epstein wanted to hurt Donald Trump. Just stupid. This is not what the file said. There's still 3 million documents missing, probably 50 million pages, because a document can be multiple pages. So probably 50 million Page is missing. By the way, where are all the financial accounting records? Where are all the bank records? I mean, Epstein was involved in a billion money laundering scheme relating to the sex trafficking. So undoubtedly, there exists bank records day by day Month by month, year by year, multiple banks. Where's that? Where's that? That's not here. Those alone should be millions of pages. It will be a tedious task to read the bank records. That's what lawyers do. When I was a litigator, that's what you do. I was one of the lead lawyers in a case against a Ponzi scheme in California called Medical Cap Holdings, MedCap.

00:45:22

There was MedCap one, two, three, four, and they would be these special purpose vehicles, and MedCap one would raise money, and then MedCap 2 would raise money to pay the investors a MedCap 1, and MedCap 3 would do. The whole business model was that they would allegedly buy receivables from medical centers, and then they would collect on the receivables and you would invest, and they would buy the receivables for 50 cents on the dollar, 45 cents on the dollar. Why am I bringing this up? Because there was a SEC case brought against MedCap. Sec had a receiver. The guy's name was Tom Seaman. We were the law firm, and our job was to go through, I could give you multiple other case examples, terabytes of financials, terabytes. When the Trump's like, and by the way, I had five lawyers on my team who we worked with. That was sufficient. Maybe we had a law clerk or two also. We would do the document review. We would go through millions of pages. We would use keyword terms, search terms, and we'd go through them every day. It's been 16-hour days. It wasn't quite as fun as when I get to do YouTube videos or podcasts or write on our sub stack, minusplus.

00:46:57

Com. I'd sit there, show up, Get into the office at 7: 30 AM, right after graduating Georgetown law, show up, 8: 00 AM. You just go through the documents. That's what you do. That's what you do all day. You'd be with the team of five people. You grab lunch, you're ordering dinner at the office, you show back up to your house, usually at 10: 30 PM. You do that six days a week. That's what it's like to be a young... For those who are watching who know people who work at law firms and do that type of work, that's what you do. You don't complain about it, you don't whine about it. Okay, maybe privately, you whine about it occasionally. But that's what you do. You find the documents and you get it done and you redact what needs to be redacted. That's just what happens. That's just what you do. When this DOJ claims they have a thousand lawyers working on it, if I had a A thousand lawyers, we'd get it done in three days. A thousand lawyers, that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. 250 lawyers. By the way, they act like, Oh, we didn't even have a lot of time.

00:48:11

We had 60 days. What do you mean? First off, you had 30 days and you missed the deadline. But you had since last February when Pam Bondi said it was on her desk. You had a thousand lawyers working on it from March of 2025 to the present. That's what all the public... Want to talk about waste, fraud, and abuse? What were we paying all these FBI agents and DOJ lawyers overtime for if they weren't reviewing it and they were billing overtime for this stuff? By the way, did you all hear the story today? About that DOJ lawyer in one of these cases where a judge was calling out the lawyer for violating court order after court order after court order, like the DOJ, and the lawyer had a breakdown in the court and said to the judge, she said, her name is, I think, Julie Lee. She goes, The judge is like, Counsel? Here, I'll just read it. Shocking federal court moment. Doj attorney Julie Lee. The judge says, What's going on, counsel? Why are you continuing to violate court order after court order? This is what the DOJ lawyer says, The system sucks. This job sucks.

00:49:30

Can you please hold me in contempt, your honor? I need to sleep. Hold me in contempt. That's where we are at the DOJ, where a DOJ lawyer Is asking a federal judge to hold the DOJ lawyer in contempt to get rest so that she doesn't have to do the job anymore. It's a cry for help. Help. As a law professor, it's hard because I would always tell my law students in the past, the best place you can work at is the DOJ. I don't care if it's a Democratic administration or a Republican administration. Those are some of the hardest jobs to get being a DOJ lawyer. They usually pick the top students. You gain great experience. It's a great path if want to become a judge. Some people stay at the DOJ for their life, but you become a trial experience. It's a great way to then go into private practice. I know DOJ lawyers work five, six years at the DOJ. Then you work at a corporate firm and they'll pay you like 800K. Five years in, 600K, 800K just because you have so much experience and clients want to hire you because you know so much.

00:50:56

Make a lot of money and learn a lot. But now, and by the way, at the DOJ itself, you probably make 140 a year, 130 a year. It's still good money. But when you go into private practice, you can make crazy money. And there was a... And be armed with so much knowledge and be in demand. But now who wants to work for the DOJ? I don't know what to tell my law student. Because you don't want to sound political, but it's not a matter of being political. It's just the DOJ DOJ is not doing good work right now. They're getting sanctioned and they're losing cases. And so right now, it's not worth it. And also, private firms are not going to want to hire you when you get sanctioned or when you lose cases Cases. The idea of why they hired you before is because you'd win cases and you'd gain experience. Not anymore. Now you become a podcaster. Someone said that now you become a podcaster. Now you take your Georgetown law degree, you litigate your cases, and then you go, You know what? I'm going to be a YouTuber. That's what you do.

00:52:07

I want to mention this as well. Former President Clinton and former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, they've agreed to testify before the House Oversight Committee regarding the Epstein files. And James Comer and the MAGA Republicans just had their bluff called because they wanted to hold the Clintons in contempt. And if you were to have a hierarchy of people to get their depositions in a public settings, right on the Epstein files. To me, Hillary Clinton isn't on your list at all, just being blunt. She has nothing. There's nothing there. Bill Clinton would probably be in my Tier 2. I would want his deposition, but not right away. Depending on what my Tier 1 witnesses told me, I may or may not want Bill Clinton, but I certainly would not have him Tier 1. Trump, Tier 1 for sure. Why? Because the sex trafficking was taking place at Mar-a-Lago. That's why. Not because his name is Donald Trump, because he was close friends with Epstein. Bill Clinton, I would put on my tier 2 people who had highly suspicious interactions with Epstein. Tier 1 would be my co-conspirators, people who have made public statements like, Epstein's a great guy.

00:53:46

Ghislaine would be tier one. She was willing to speak with Donald Trump's criminal defense attorney, now number two at the DOJ, but she's not being forced to testify publicly at the DOJ. Just think about that. My tier one, the Epstein's bankers, Epstein's, the people who run Epstein's estate, Epstein's lawyer, Those are the people who I would want first. Obviously, the former Southern district of Florida United States attorney who covered it People forget Pam Bondi was the AG in Florida when Epstein was involved in the sex trafficking ring there. Anyway, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton will testify. But we want it to be done in public, too. We want a public hearing. Just think about that, though, that they want a public hearing. You know James Colmer, and they're all going to try to avoid that. But Bill Clinton and Hillary say they want a public hearing. And James Comer is like, What am I going to do now? If we do a public hearing and everyone's going to be talking about Donald Trump. Yeah. The Democrats are going to spend the time at the public hearing talking about where's Donald Trump? We've seen Hillary Clinton at the Bengasi hearing.

00:55:18

She said that for 12 hours. 12 hours. And so they've agreed to to testify publicly. Now what? Now what? Well, I'll tell you what, the remaining 3 million documents need to be released. Now, in my view, all of the victims and survivors whose confidential information was leaked, to me, they should be able to sue the federal government for traumatizing them. It's a legal violation, so I think they should be able to have a claim against them. I think that when we read these emails and the people who are involved, they need to be investigated and they need to be held accountable. It's very simple. It's very simple. And that starts at the top with Donald Trump. So I'll end the episode where I started it. 38,000 times Donald Trump's name appears on this batch of files. In 5,000 documents, his name appears 38,000 times. What are we talking about? What's the... Is there there's really still debate at this point. So at some point, you're either with that behavior, and that's who you are as a person, or you're against it. And whether you're a Republican, Democrat, or independent, you should be against it. But setting aside what you should be against, we should also talk about what we should be for.

00:57:04

I don't want to lose sight of that because what we should be for, and it shouldn't be corny or feeling that what I'm saying is, Why are you going there? But we should feel love and empathy and a desire for friendship and community. And we should help people. We should lift up people. Should care about human dignity and human rights and equality and diversity and equity and inclusion. Those should not be bad words. Should stand up for each other. We should support democracy. We should support our allies. That's what we should do. That's what we as human beings who have a short period of time to be alive on this planet should do with our lives at a bare minimum and not use our precious time on this planet to inflict pain on others who are just trying to utilize their precious time in a meaningful and material That's my bare minimum. And I just think that there's so much going on that we lose sight or we lose track of golden arches, golden ballrooms, billions of dollars in payments from the Saudis and invading Greenland and attacking. It's just This whole Trumpian cancer has really metastasized in a way to block a basic human dignity and a basic love and compassion out there.
