Transcript of Thursday Afternoon Breaking News Updates with Ben — 1/22/26

This is Ben on Breaking News. I'm Ben Meisellas, your host. Let's get into it right away. Of course, we're going to cover Donald Trump's deteriorating physical and mental condition. He's quite literally rotting before our eyes. Remember the discolored right-hand that he said was caused by all of the handshaking that was taking place and all of the aspirin that he was taking? Well, now, while he's still in Davos, Switzerland, and was meeting with his own access of evil that he's calling a peace board, his left hand was deteriorating, discolored, bruised, and he had to walk out. They put makeup on his hand to cover it up. The Telegraph caught the photo of after they put some makeup on his left hand. But now the White House and their chief propagandist, Caroline Levet, is saying that what happened was he banged his hand in the corner of a signing table, causing it to bruise. That's why his hand looks like that. Oh, he figured it out, everybody. The right-hand is from the excessive handshaking, and the left hand is because he knocked it into a table during his meeting with the access of Evil. We will cover that.

But I want to start on a topic that the Trump regime doesn't want us talking about, but one of the main topics being their cover up of the Epstein file. So let's always mention that at the top of any breaking news report because they're covering up a child sex trafficking ring. But this regime, they are predators on children in general. When it comes to attacking the American people, don't they seem to always go after the children first, whether it's ripping away food and nutrition assistance, taking away school lunches, ripping away educational opportunities, health care? They always seem to target children. We're seeing with the ICE and Border Patrol Gestapo, the attacks on children. By now, I hope you know about the story, and it's a tragic story of Liam Cunejo Ramos. There he is in Minnesota, where ICE agents use this five-year-old as bait to try to lure out his father in order to kidnap both of them. So Liam Canejo Ramos was walking back from preschool. His father was inside the house when an ICE or Border Patrol Gestapo, they're all masks, so it's hard to tell who's who, but they're all Gestapo. They grabbed Liam.

You see the photo of him? I'm not trying to be hyperbolic. I mean, they grabbed him by his shirt and they walked him over. And that's how they got his dad to come out, kidnapped them both. Look at this five-year-old. He's wearing a Pokémon hat or something. Lure the dad to come out, and then kidnapped them both, disappeared them to a concentration, camp somewhere in Texas. Then who knows what the hell is going to happen. There are also videos that I have an ongoing series here on the Midas Touch Network. I call it All Hell Breaks Loose. Just in the past 24 hours, this Greg Bavino terrorist, the one who runs the Border Patrol, he was out there, and he himself goes out there and gasses the population and throws this green and orange, noxious, carcinogenic Gas at the people, choking them because they're peacefully protesting him. He throws the gag, I'm going to gas you. I'm going to gas you. He throws the gas into their faces. We cover that on our All Hell Breaks Loos series. Then we learned through a whistleblower complaint that the Trump regime has been engaged. We've seen it.

It just confirmed in a memo from Todd Lyons, who's the acting head of ICE, that the Trump regime has basically taken the position that they don't need judicial warrants anymore. No judicial warrants. That they're only going to use administration administrative warrants, which is basically a form that ICE fills out for itself. They go, Oh, yeah, we're bringing you to an administrative law judge. The judges are ICE at this point because the Trump regime got rid of all the administrative law justice. They are signing their own forms, avoiding the Fourth Amendment, dictate against unreasonable searches and seizures, a constitutional protection against unreasonable searches and seizures. And now the Trump regime's position is, Well, it's just immigrants. It's just immigrants. Well, you're also going after US citizens. And even if you're going after immigrants, you should still need to follow a Constitution. They'll break down into homes. Do you all remember when the Tea Party, they had their flag, Don't Tread on me. Remember that, Don't tread on me with the snake. Don't tread on me. This is the ultimate treading. I mean, you When you see, when this California governor, Gavin Newsom or others talk about these MAGA Republicans in the Cuck chair, it's like they're basically like, Tread on me, governor.

Tread on me, Donald. Tread on me. Tread on me. Then Donald Trump's disgusting speech that he gave when he was overseas in Davos. He was like, NATO, they call me Daddy, and I want to be your Daddy. Daddy, what the hell is going on here? We, the people, need to push back and we need to punch back against this insanity right now, against this utter insanity. I didn't even mention yet, I'll mention it now, that the Trump regime has been trying to go after Don Lemon. They tried to charge Don Lemon today. They charged protesters who were at the church in Saint Paul. They charged them with federal criminal charges for violations of something called the FACE Act. And so the leader of the protest was charged, and several others at the protest at the Saint Paul Church were charged. And as part of it, The eight criminal defendants, Don Lemon was listed, but apparently the magistrate judge did not agree to sign off on the criminal complaint against Don Lemon. Notably, the Department Justice did not go to a grand jury. They did not seek indictments. They tried to do this by way of just a criminal complaint, asking a magistrate to sign off on it.

The magistrate is not signing off on it as it relates to Don Lemon. Now the Trump regime is doxing the magistrate judge and saying, Oh, well, the magistrate judge's wife works with Keith Ellison, the attorney general. So go after the wife. This is part of the playbook that Donald Trump always did. Remember Judge Ingoran and others where the Trump regime would say, Go after the wife, go after the wife. That's what these thugs at the DOJ do right now. This is Trump's playbook. The DOJ are like Donald Trump's pathetic law firms. And not only are they weaponized, it looks like Nazi Germany. I don't use these words, again, hyperbolically, but it's what is happening. So if any Democrats out there like, oh, well, maybe we need to fund ICE or maybe we need to fund Border Patrol, well, you ain't going to be a Democrat for long, okay? If Ultimately, you think that ICE and the Border Patrol should get more funding right now? One of the things that I'm proud about at the Midas Touch Network is that as we've built out our DC bureau, we're asking Democrats, very tough questions on the Hill.

We're asking them your questions. One of the main things I know that you want to know is which Democrats are saying that ICE and Border Patrol need more funding because that That's a wrap, I think, for them. We've had Pablo Monriquez. He's been on Capitol Hill, and he's been asking the Democrats tough questions, too. Of course, he asked the Republicans tough questions, but we ain't doing softballs to Democrats. I want to give a hat tip to Pablo because Pablo has been holding Democrats accountable who have been missing votes. You need people to show up right now. We've had basically perfect attendance today since Pablo Monriquez has been out there asking who's showing up, who's not showing up, and that's going to go viral. Everybody's pretty much showing up today on the Democratic side. Pablo was asking all the top Democratic appropriators, What are you doing when it comes to ICE funding? And then ASIN at the Midas Touch Network plays those clips. And there's been a lot of accountability brought to Democrats also in a very short period of time. And now they're pretty much United saying no funding. They're drawing a line, no funding, no more funding to ICE and Border Patrol right now.

And the head of the Democrat on the Appropriations, the ranking member, Delora. She was wishy-washy a few weeks back, if you remember when Pablo asked her, and she's put out a statement now. We'll see. Still have to make sure that this is actually what is effectuated. But the House Appropriations Committee ranking member, Rosa Delora, announced on the House floor, she'll vote no against the Department of Homeland Security spending bill. It's clear more must be done. Ice believes it can act with impunity and it's behaving accordingly. I trust that my colleagues have taken the time to assess this position. And then go back to that one more time there, Salty, in that same one. Max Cohen writes, In a sign of how toxic ICE is within the Democratic caucus right now, Deloitte, who negotiated this bill and was defending it this week, is now a note on the DHS appropriations. I'm proud to say that I believe Pablo and our team and all of you played a major part of it. But it's not just how toxic the DA... The way that's even reported right there is a both sides, you think. How toxic it's become on the demand.

It's toxic to the American people. To the American people, we don't want border patrol and ICE Gestapo like Nazis marching through our streets, these fascists, terrorizing peaceful communities, creating the crime. They're terrorists. They're behaving like terrorists. I'm going to use my First Amendment right, while it still exists, while I'm still protecting and defending it, to express my opinion, which I'm allowed to do, about what it is when they come marching through town in their military fatigues and start throwing gas at peaceful protesters and shoot Renee Nicole Good in the face and round up independent journalists like Don Lemon and When Don Lemon was in the church, the person who worked at the church touched Lemon, and Lemon said, Don't touch me. I don't want to be touched by you. What was the crime that Lemon committed? Reporting on a protest taking place in a church where apparently one of the leaders of that church was working with ICE or working in connection with ICE? What did Lemon do? And why? Because social media right wing MAGA trolls were out there saying, @Pambandi, indict him, indict him, @Pambandi. And she listens to the social media and all the DOJ people are responding to right wing social media trolls.

You're Why are you freaking DOJ? Grow up. Why are you listening? Get off of Twitter or X, get off your social media, and actually behave like freaking lawyers, like real prosecutors. Grow the hell up and act like adults. I did a video this morning. I hope you all have the opportunity to watch it with Dr. Gupta. One of his criticisms of Donald, one of the things that he was saying about Donald Trump is the words he used was normal normal adult behavior. That Donald Trump's behavior does not constitute normal adult behavior. When Dr. Gupta said that to me, if you saw the video I did with him, I was like, Pause right there. I just want to let everybody know where we've come to. We've come to a place where the only accurate objective analysis of Donald Trump is that he's not engaged in normal adult behavior. What's the of the 25th Amendment if we can all observe somebody who's not engaged in normal adult behavior and one political party pretends that he is? Don't give me, Oh, we'll buy it in this. Well, first off, the media relentlessly went after Biden every day because Biden was old.

There's a big difference between old and slower and stuttering, which Biden did, and Donald Trump not engaging in normal adult behavior. There's a difference. When you would watch Biden's speech as though they were coherent. They were, and he was old, yes, and they were slower. Sometimes you felt bad and you were like, Come on, man. I'm sure that's how he felt about himself. That's a fair criticism because we saw it. But there's a difference between an old person. I like to distinguish it like There's a difference between a Yoda and a jab of the hut. When it comes to... No one was like, Oh, Yoda. He can't make decisions. I think one of the problems with Biden is he needed to lean into the fact that he was the grandfather. He was fighting that. He should have leaned into the fact that he was like a grandfather figure and that he was old. I think it was hard for him to deal with that. But his deliberative thought process and decision making was coherent and intelligent and at an executive leadership level, it was. What we're seeing from Donald Trump, and we saw the speeches that he gave when he was in Davos, where he confused Greenland and Iceland and Iceland.

And then you have Caroline Levit, Donald Trump's chief propaganda, said, That's not... He didn't really say that. Donald Trump, he never said Iceland is Greenland. He never said that. Do we have the clip, Salty, of Donald Trump just continuing to mix up Iceland and Greenland over and over? I just want to play. I know you probably have seen this clip before, but let's play the clip where Donald Trump keeps on calling Iceland, Greenland, and vice versa. Let's play it.

But in doing it, I'm helping Europe, I'm helping NATO. Until the last few days when I told them about Iceland, they loved me. They called me Daddy, right? Last time, a very smart man said, he's our daddy. He's running it. I was like running it. I went from running it to being a terrible human being. But now what I'm asking for is a piece of ice, cold and poorly located that can play a vital role in world peace and world protection. It's a very small ask compared to what we have given them for many many, many decades. But the problem with NATO is that we'll be there for them 100%.

He goes on to say, The problem is we'll be there for NATO 100%, but they won't ever be there for us. The only country in NATO that's invoked Article 5 is the United States. You know who was with us? Denmark. Denmark lost more soldiers per capita than any country fighting alongside the United States and Afghanistan. You look throughout Europe, you look throughout NATO in general, Canada, Australia, elsewhere, and you across the world, and you will see American allies that lost soldiers fighting because America invoked Article 5. It's just so utterly disrespectful, just grotesque to see what was happening happening there. Then earlier today, where Donald Trump's hand showed the discoloration, that was at his Board of Peace event that he calls it the Board of Peace. It's so dystopian to call it a Board of Peace. While Donald Trump was standing there with other authoritarians from Pakistan and Qatar and Bahrain and Uzbekistan, and by the way, Putin is joining this board, Netanyahu is joining this board, no NATO allies are joining this board. I mean, this is what the United States has been reduced to. This is our squad at this point, Hungary, Pakistan, Qatar, Bahrain, really?

And Donald Trump. Wow, How did Canada and Europe and others send a major message not being there on stage with Donald Trump? He wanted to make this big announcement. And just take a look at what his hand looked like. Deteriorating, rotting, corrosive. We're all seeing it. Let's just go through some of the things that Donald Trump said during this ridiculous speech of his. The first thing I'll share with you is when Donald Trump... This is a real call to action, I think, here. This is as call to activism says, in a historically shocking moment, Donald Trump just says, We all want a dictator, right? We want a dictator. Here, this is how he says it. Here, play this clip.

We had a good speech. We got great reviews. I can't believe it. We got good reviews person in that speech. Usually, they say, he's a horrible dictator type person. I'm a dictator. But sometimes you need a dictator. But they didn't say that in this case. And no, it's common sense. It's all based on common sense. It's not conservative or liberal or anything else. It's mostly, let's say, 95% common sense, and that's what we have. So I just want to thank everybody for being here. It's such an honor. And if we can ever help, you're going to let me know. And I have a pretty direct line.

I have a pretty direct line. What are you talking about? Then he attacks Canada. He says, Canada should be grateful to us. Canada lives because of the United States. Remember that, Mark, referring to Prime Minister Carny, next time you make your statements, So Prime Minister Carny spoke before Donald Trump, and Prime Minister Carny says, Canada stands with Greenland and Denmark for its sovereignty. Canada stands with NATO. Canada stands for a free trade, multilateral cooperative system. And that's what pissed Donald Trump off. So Trump says, Canada needs to be grateful to us. Let's play this clip.

To just by its very nature, going to be defending Canada. Canada gets a lot of freebies from us, by the way, they should be grateful also, but they're not. I watched your Prime Minister yesterday. He wasn't so grateful. They should be grateful to us, Canada. Canada lives because of the United States. Remember that, Mark, the next time you make your statements?

What we did-I gave Star Wars references earlier. I mean, do you hear even his heavy breathing? It's like, North Vader up there. That Canada should be grateful for us. While he's got the hand that is rotting in front of us, while he can't put together sentences in coherent structures, and while he's threatening Canada that way, he then starts to bring up in front of the World Economic Forum, Somali people, and he goes, The Somali Bandits stole $19 billion from the United States, the Somalian Bandits. Then he goes, So they turned out that they had higher IQ than I thought because these Somalis are Somalian Bandits. This is your message at the World Economic Forum. Let's play We've got it. If we don't got it, we can move on to another clip. What about the clip where he talks about California governor, Gavin Newsom, and he says, Gavin is a good guy. Gavin is, let's try that clip.

We can We're going to do that all over. We're going to help the people in California. We want to have no crime. I know Gavin was here. I used to get along so great with Gavin when I was President. Gavin's a good guy. If he needed it, I would it in a heartbeat. I'd love to see. We did help them a lot in Los Angeles, a lot with the early in my term when they had some problems. But we would love to do it. I will say this, if I were a Democrat governor or whatever, I would call up Trump. I say, Come on in. Make us look good, because we're cutting crime down to nothing. We're taking people out, career criminals, who are only going to do business.

One of the things about Trump, too, he's a really weak a pathetic individual. We all know that. But when Governor Newsom was in the room with Donald Trump, he didn't say, New scum. There was none of that. He says, Newsom is a good guy who I tried to help out. Then as soon as that speech was over, what did Donald Trump do? He has the State Department controlling the United States pavilion area where Gavin Newsom was said to give a speech later in the day. Because Gavin Newsom is the governor of the biggest state in the United States, which would be the fourth largest GDP in the world if it was a country. And Donald Trump has the State Department block Newsom from entering the USA house, which was actually in a rented church in Davos, Switzerland, preventing Newsom from giving a speech. So Donald Trump said, Oh, Newsom, I think he's a good guy. You think he's a good guy? But then you call him Newsom. It's the same thing. Remember when Newsom met Donald Trump on the tarmac right after the fires devastated LA, which, by the way, which is where I'm from.

I've had dinner recently in Altadena. I've driven by the Palisades. You go to Altadena right now, it is devastation zone. People of Altadena, people of the Palisades, need the federal government right now to provide emergency assistance packages, which Trump and his regime refuse to do. Remember when Newsom, two months ago, showed up in DC to try to meet with anybody at the Department of Homeland Security in FEMA. They refused to meet with Newsom. They refused to, not even just Donald Trump refusing to meet with Newsom. Any person in Trump's regime, at any level, were given the order, do not meet with Newsom. When he traveled to Washington, DC to discuss the aid that was needed to rebuild areas like Altadina and the Palisades after the devastating fires. But remember when Donald Trump arrived, he was on the tarmac And Newsom was like, Okay, I'm here. You've been calling me New Scum and saying that I'm more focused on some fish over putting out fires or just stupid conspiracies. There was, I'm here. Let's talk. And did you see Donald Trump cower. I remember Newsom gave Melania a kiss on the cheek. And then Newsom and Trump were in front of the press, and it's like, Okay, Donald.

Okay, Mr. Tough guy. You're tough guy, right? Oh, you're so tough. Okay, we'll call him New Scum. Do your little internet troll stick in front of him. He's too scary. Newsom used to say, It's weakness masquerading as strength. I don't even agree with that. It's weakness masquerading to me as weakness. It's humiliating. It's not even strong. I don't even know. Society in a general, I think it's to blame for normalizing this behavior and degrading the minds of so many people to think that these are qualities of a leader. Trump is a whiny, pathetic piece of trash human being. He's a scumbag. He is evil. People needed to assert that and say, get the hell out of... You see what he does with Greenland? It's a great example of what a predator he is. This is how he is. He's an entire life. You got to smack him in the face when he's doing this stuff. You got to smack him back when he's doing this stuff the way Europe did. Stop appeasing this piece of crap because he's going to come for you anyway. You either stand up to him now strongly and put it on the line and maintain your dignity, or he's coming for you anyway.

You see what's happening with Greenland. He doesn't stop. He is relentless. But when you stand up to him, he goes bankrupt. It's why so many things in his life have failed. It's why he's bankrupted casino after casino over and over again. When you stand up to him, but he won't stop. He's a sociopath, and it is a quality of a dictator, malignant, narcissistic qualities. He does the, Greenland, I want it. It's a piece of ice. I want it. Most people, when you tell them no, they stop. Maybe if they do it again, you go no, and they stop. Donald Trump doesn't stop. The only way to make him stop is you have to assert yourself and you have to say, get the hell away. Newsom gets it there. When he stood up with Prop 50, to me, that was a big deal. You could all say a lot of things about Hakeem Jeffrey's this and that, but I will mention one thing. If you go and look right now at the House of Representatives and the seats that have been picked up since Donald Trump started his gerrymandering, it's been dummy mandering. Because right now, across the country, not just with what happened in California, and give Newsom credit for Prop 50, but what's happening now in Virginia with the redistricting What could be happening in Maryland, a New York seat right now has been determined to be unconstitutional, and that seat can flip.

Based on all of Trump's dummy mandering, Democrats could actually pick up plus five seats it's right now because even with Donald Trump's fascism, there's an idiocracy also. If you stand up to him, he loses. When you give in to it, that's when He's never going to step. He'll always greenly, greenly, greenly, Canada, Canada, Canada, Canada, was a Trump bootliquer, per se. But Jamie Dimon, I think, was very careful in his language about Donald Trump and very not aggressive. Granted, he is the CEO of J. P. Morgan Chase. How aggressive can you be? But the reality is that Donald Trump just sued J. P. Morgan Chase. And Trump alleges that J. P. Morgan Chase, you'll see the lawsuit that Donald Trump filed today in Miami in state court. Wrong for him, but Donald Trump doesn't care. He just wants the headline. Would Trump sue for $5 billion And he said, J. P. Morgan Chase, de-platform me. The lawsuit claims that J. P. Morgan's decision came about as a result of political and social motivations to distance itself from Trump and his conservative political views. Now, here was the response from J. P. Morgan Chase. J. P.

Morgan Chase does not close accounts for political or religious reasons. We do close accounts because they create legal or regulatory risk for the company. We regret having to do so, but often rules and regulatory expectations lead us to do so. We have been asking both this administration and prior administrations to change the rules and regulations that put us in a position, and we support the administration's efforts to prevent the weaponization of the banking sector. Even a pretty pathetic response by the way there. You just got sued by a fascist administration. You appreciate their efforts? The hell are you talking about? You appreciate their efforts. A fascist regime just sued you for absolute bullshit, and you are thanking them. It's just stupid. It's just stupid. The reality is, is that what their statement should say? Okay, game on. The regulation Regulatory issues are things that will now come out in discovery. If Donald Trump wants to make this about the regulatory risks, we're going to have no choice but at a trial to talk about Donald Trump's connections with foreign countries, because I'm sure some of the regulatory risk is who Donald Trump does business with.

We see it. We see it before our eyes. Donald Trump props up Delce Rodriguez in Venezuela the authoritarian leader there from the Maduro regime. You have Diedados Caballo, Maduro's enforcer. They're still running the show in Venezuela. They've clamped down on political dissent. You can go, Well, didn't they release 30 political prisoners? Well, they Just in prison, 50 more. It's a revolving door. Anybody who's following Venezuela, I know maybe people jump. We forget about Venezuela. All Trump did was prop up the authoritarian, screw over the pro-democracy opposition leader, make that pro-democracy opposition leader beg and give him a Nobel Peace Prize that he's not even allowed to have. She stole her Nobel Peace Prize. He said, Maybe we'll give her a role. Maybe we'll give Machado a role. The authoritarian regime is in power. So Trump creates a bank account in Qatar for himself to divert the oil money proceeds to Qatar for himself, for Trump. Not the treasury, not for America, for Trump. Okay, and you know how the world adapts to that? Like that. Canada will send its liquefied natural gas to China. China will send its electric vehicles to Canada. The world moves on.

$1 trillion strategic trade relationship between China and Canada, a $700 million consumer trade deal between the Mercutcer countries, Brazil, Argentina, and Europe. By the way, All those puzzle pieces are shifting together to create the largest free trade alliance ever that's going to cut out the US. Imagine when you link the trans-Pacific relationships that Canada is forging with its trans-Atlantic relationships with Europe's Mercurius Alliance. Do you see what's forming? Donald Trump likes to talk about a golden dome like an idiot. But if you want to look at what a like a triangle or a diamond, if you will, with the US being cut out and everybody else connected in free trade other than the United States. Do you see that that's what's forming in front of us? And that's what carny means when he talks about a new world order. And then the Trump regime people today were like, Yeah, this is a new world order. We're America's first. No, this is America's stupid. This is America last. And anybody who was at Davos and watching what took place there was looking at horror and shame and disgust. We found the clip of him talking about the Somalias.

To the United States. And despite that, we have the lowest crime numbers that we've ever had in the history of the country. Just came out. But equally importantly, we're cracking down on more than $19 billion in fraud that was stolen by Somalian bandits. Can you believe that Somalian, they turned out to be higher IQ than we thought? We say these are low IQ people. How did they go into Minnesota and steal all that money?

But do you also see how he... I mean, it's racist. So stipulated, Ben. It's racist. But he also equates fraud with high IQ. They're more high IQ than I thought. They committed a fraud. So it's racist, and it shows his own criminality all at once. Who likes criminality and fraud and hates democracy, who's joining Donald Trump's fake peace board, his access of evil, Putin. Putin. Trump went to Davos and made an alliance with Putin and Lukashenko and Pakistan and Qatar. Great job. Great job, Donald. Again, we can't normalize this. I don't want to be in an alliance with Vladimir Putin. Then why wouldn't Solinsky join the peace board? I don't know. Maybe because Putin, who's engaged in war crimes and crimes against humanity and is killing Ukrainians and invaded Ukraine, is a part of it and you're calling it a peace board. Yeah, maybe Zelenskyy doesn't want to join a board with Lukashenko of Belarus, who's working with Russia to try to kill everybody in Ukraine. Just maybe that's happening. And by the way, I know that a lot of attention is there's a lot of places to divert our attention. But there were multiple innocent journalists who were killed in Gaza yesterday.

It's not like there's peace there. Part of what Donald Trump and this access of evil we're talking about was New Gaza. They have this weird AI slop photos of what New Gaza looks like while the atrocities are still being committed in Gaza. I don't want to do a broadcast ever and not mention the fact that Israeli troops are killing innocent people in Gaza yesterday. Netanyahu is joining this board with Donald Trump as well. Let me show you Putin, though, right now. Here's what Putin said about the Peace Corps. Let's play it. I think we got the clip of Putin. Do we have the clip of Putin? I think that we could contribute $1 billion to the Board of Peace from the frozen assets by the Assets frozen by the previous administration and the remaining funds from the funds frozen in the United States could be used to rebuild the territories that suffered during hostilities once we signed a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. Let me show you what Gavin Newsom had to say, then I'll show you what AOC, Jasmine Crockett and others said. I mean, it's really some job dropping and remarkable statements that just fly in the face of facts and evidence and common sense.

There wasn't anything new about that speech for the American audience. The only thing that was new is he said he's willing to negotiate. But wait a second, that's not new either, because he's been saying we wanted to negotiate for over a year.

I think that the President has been acting in increasingly erratic ways. I think it is really damning when we think about the degree to which mass media outlets reported on Joe Biden, and that resulted in the Democratic Party changing its company, et cetera. Yet, we are seeing behavior from Donald Trump that is increasingly erratic and alarming, and Everyone's pretending that this is normal. I don't really understand why that is. It is very bizarre. But then, importantly, I think that for our European partners and for our global partners, I think what they also see is the result of not just one man, but also the entire government apparatus and a party that is willing to watch someone decompensate in front of the world and do nothing about it. I don't know what's going on, but I find that the standard... It would be helpful if we could apply an even standard here and far more a fraction of the reporting that was dedicated a year or ago to see that applied right now.

Congresswoman, given what we've seen with Davos and throughout his presidency, what do you make of Donald Trump's cognitive decline? People are saying it's only going to get worse. What does Congress need to do about that?

Yeah, I honestly don't think that he was equipped to actually swear into office in the first place. But I did have serious concerns, and this is not about partisanship. This is not about how he and I spar. This is literally based upon what some actual doctors were telling me were signs. We have tried to investigate this as a member of the Oversight Committee. I launched an investigation requiring and asking that we get answers about not only his mental fitness, but also his physical fitness, and they've yet to respond.

Here's Congresswoman Ramirez, who spoke with our Pablo Monriquez. Let's play her clip. Congresswoman, real quick, how big of a factor is Donald Trump's cognitive decline, given what we're seeing in Davos right now?

We have a A physically unstable, mentally ill man running the White House in this country. It is extremely serious, and you certainly see the consequences of it every single day. The American people are hurting. Everything is more expensive. People are dying in the streets. He is becoming richer, and he doesn't even know what he's talking about. It's dangerous, and he should resign.

Then beyond that, obviously, the DHS appropriations and things like that, you have a new bill, the Meld Ice Bill.

Can you tell me about it? Yeah. Look, I know people have different feelings about words, but the point of this bill is to say, Constituents are everyday asking us, What the hell are we going to do about ice? What are we going to do as CBP? What Meld Ice does, in essence, it ends the tension. It ends Then, consequently, it cripples enforcement. It means no more funding for detention, no more funding, in essence, for enforcement, and the money that is being spent right now to kill people, to abduct people, to put 14-year-old boys with autism into detention would actually go back to the communities that have been most impacted by the ICE operations. It's a bill I'm actually really proud of leading with Congresswoman Yvette Clark from the New York Delegation, and that I hope more and more of my colleagues will jump on because it's actually a bill that's tangible action to make sure that ICE is accountable and that that one more dollar goes to a plan of abduction, of kidnapping, and tear gasing children.

Got it. Thank you. Next, you We have Democratic Congress member McGovern. Let's play his clip. Congressman, real quick, is Davos Trump's mental health a concern for you after some of the things that he's been saying in Europe?

Well, he said a lot of crazy shit today at Davos. I think it's time to take the keys away from grandpa. He doesn't seem like he's all there. I guess some of my Republican friends are saying we should be comforted if he said he's probably not going to use force in Greenland. I don't trust the word he says. I wouldn't trust to tell me the correct time. Don't forget, before the Christmas break, they said they weren't going to do anything in Venezuela. Susie Wiles, in an interview, said they did come to Congress for us. When we're on break, what do they do? They go into Venezuela. This President who writes letters complaining that he's not going to be peaceful anymore because he didn't get the Nobel Peace Prize. I mean, this is unhinged, and this is just nuts.

For the rest of the term, what's your message to your Republican colleagues about his cognitive decline?

Like I said, to take the car keys away from grandpa. They need to wake up. This can't be normal. I'm so second to how the Republicans coming up to me privately and saying, Oh, yeah, this is on hand. This is crazy. Oh, he's off his rocker. Then publicly, When you ask a question like, What do you think of him? Oh, he's the greatest president of the world. I mean, this is our country, for God's sake. He's threatening our NATO alliance. The whole world is like, What the hell is going on here? There's This is a moment for Republicans to grow a spine and actually put their country ahead of their own re-election.

Got it. Thank you, Congressman. I appreciate it. Then Donald Trump claimed that he made a deal with NATO over Greenland, and then information leaked about it, and it was like, well, America will get to claim that the areas surrounding its military bases are part of the United States. America will get its territory in Greenland. Denmark never agreed to that. Greenland never agreed to that. Mark Rutte from NATO said that he never even talked to Donald Trump about that. Donald Trump saw the stock market crashing. Europe stood up to Donald Trump and imposed. It said it was going to impose a trade bazooka on the United States when Donald Trump claimed that he was going to tariff these European countries who are sending Special Forces to Greenland. Those countries haven't removed their Special Forces. They've only increased the Special Forces from France to Germany, Denmark. You go look, there are more troops. There is a war footing and war posture in Greenland right now. There's no deal. He makes up fake things. He left and did a deal with his own demented head. And this is what he's done over and over again for the past year.

He makes up fake things, and China says that they're good. They didn't say any of this. You're making it up. I spoke to India and India. No, you didn't. You're making it up. Look, on the one hand, it allows state regime Media Fox to report it on these things to, I guess, give their base. You see, Donald Trump did it, but he didn't do it. All this is doing is hurting the threats, the chaos, every aspect of it is one gigantic fraud. Like Donald Trump's life is one gigantic fraud. He is a predator. He is a fraud, and he's behaving that way right now. On the international stage, covering up a child sex trafficking ring. I mean, our DOJ is blatantly covering up a child sex trafficking ring in plain view. They don't care. They don't care. I care. Do you care? They spent a hearing yesterday saying, We're going after Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton for contempt. You think we're stupid? You think that, Oh, I guess they're the villains. Just release the files. Just release the files. Here, though, is how state regime media then basically promotes the insanity as though it's normal.

I mean, you've got this clown on Will Caine. And Will Caine is like, We've got great news to report here on Fox News. A big deal was struck between the United States and Denmark for control over Greenland. Now, we don't have a lot of details, but we can tell you all, Fox viewers, this is going to be a very big deal for you. Just watch him. Watch this madness here, play this clip. Work. So joining me now as former US ambassador to Denmark and of Greenland, Carla Sands. Thanks for being with us here today. I don't know if you have more information than what we've been able to gather so far on the framework of this potential deal. What is your suspicion on... President Trump described it as an infinite deal, a big win for all parties, which is an interesting framing, considering earlier today, he said, who in the hell in their right mind would want to lease or license presence on Greenland?

Yeah, I don't know what he's ended up with.

I know that he said unequivocally that we had to own it, and I had thought it would be a cofa, more like a free association, but that's not what that is.

So does it look more like our relationship with Puerto Rico? I'm looking forward to learning as much as you are about this new deal that the framework is in place.

But it's really encouraging. It's really encouraging? What's encouraging? It's really encouraging. Did you hear it? It's really encouraging. Maybe it'll look like our relationship with Puerto Rico. What the hell are these people talking about? Don't you all watching this just sometimes feel like you are the last survivors in a zombie movie? You're just like, Am I the only person who's not a zombie? But the reality is that there's far more of us than these zombified magas by far. But they want us to feel that we're all alone and they want a gaslet. This is It's very, very, very good news. What's good news? He made up a fake situation. He created a fake crisis, made up a fake deal, and you are analogizing it to Puerto Rico and the United States. What are you even talking about? You're living a fictional weirdo world that is going to be doing generational damage to the United States of America. Because even if you have some normal president who takes over in a few more years after this term is done, the world is going to be like, Yo, if you were willing to deal with this guy and not get rid of him and let him serve a full term, sure, you may have a normal person now, and you know that person is going to have to do what Obama did and what Clinton did, right?

Fix the mess of the prior Republican administration before it. All the while, the Republicans in the House and the Senate, they start saying, Oh, you're not being fiscally responsible. You're the one who's creating these issues when he's fixing the problems of the arsonist that is Donald Trump. But I think the rest of the world is going to be like, Yeah, we don't trust you anymore. We appreciate it that you I'm going to put someone normal in right now, but arm's length, please. We're no longer partners. That's the systemic damage and generational damage that this guy is doing. I'm not speaking as a partisan. I'm not speaking as a Democrat. I'm trying to speak to you as a human being who's observing this with you. Like, what the hell is going on here? I'm just sick and tired of the gaslighting. I mean, what, JD Vance, this is typical abuser behavior, typical predator behavior. He goes into Minnesota and he's like, Calm down, everybody. Calm down. You're all getting a little bit worked up. I never made any statements saying that officers should get absolute immunity. That's not what I said at all. Here, let's play this clip of JD Vans from earlier today saying he never said that officers should get absolute immunity.

After the Renee Good shooting, sir, the administration seems to... After the Renee Good shooting, the administration seems to suggest that ICE officers enjoyed near complete immunity. But today, you told the Washington examiner that when appropriate, administration might take disciplinary actions against ICE agents. Is that a change of opinion? And if so, why the tone?

No, I didn't say, and I don't think any other official within the Trump administration said that officers who engage in wrongdoing would enjoy immunity. That's absurd. What I did say is that when federal law enforcement officers violate the law, that is typically something that federal officials would look into. We don't want these guys to have kangoo courts. We want them to actually have real due process, real investigation, because, again, sometimes they're accused of wrongdoing, and it It turns out when you learn the context, they didn't actually do anything wrong. But of course, we're going to investigate these things.

Of course, you're not going to investigate. You literally did not investigate Jonathan Ross. You investigated the widow of Renee Nicole Good, and you're trying to throw Don Lemon into prison while Jonathan Ross walks free. And yesterday or two days ago, you said, We have the tape of you saying absolute immunity. Here's the tape of you saying it. Here, play this clip.

The precedent here is very simple. You have a federal law enforcement official engaging in federal law enforcement action. That's a federal issue. That guy is protected by absolute immunity. He was doing his job. The idea that Tim Walsh and a bunch of radicals in Minneapolis are going to go after and make this guy's life miserable because he was doing the job that he was asked to do is preposterous.

That alone should be disqualifying. That alone. There's obviously so many other things that should be disqualifying about that guy. But that On your phone. In normal times, that should be it. Done, gone, fired, public pressure, front page New York Times, Wajdi. We all heard it. I mean, what more of a smoking gun do you need on them than what I just showed you. On the one hand, that's ridiculous. Who would say they have absolute immunity? You, yesterday. Yesterday, you. That's who said it. Okay? And so stop giving us this crap. And as you round up five-year-olds wearing their Pokémon hats and use five-year-olds as bait to go after their parents, as you are terrorizing communities, this is what predators do. They go, What we're trying to do here is we're just trying to find the sex offenders. 1,600 Pennsylvania, I don't know if you want to find. We're just trying to find the sex. That's why we're doing this operation. It's a special operation. That's like Putin's words. Special operation to find the sex offenders. Do you notice when Christine Noem goes on the weekend shows, that's what she says, We're going in there and we're finding the pettos and the rapists.

You all are covering up the Epstein files. Don't lecture us on you finding the pettos, okay? Because you all are covering up for the biggest petto ring that there is. So don't lecture us on that. Types of cooperation that we need. Look, I don't need Tim Walls or Jacob Fray or anybody else to come out and say that they agree JD Vance or Donald Trump on immigration. I just don't need that. What I do need them to do is empower their local officials to help our federal officials out in a way where this can be a little bit less chaotic and it can be a little bit more targeted. If we're trying to find a sex offender, tell us where the guy lives. I'm just reasonable.

I'm just JD. I'm just a reasonable guy. We're just here trying to find the sex offender. If we ask you for it, just tell us where the sex is. Why aren't you helping us? That's all we're here for. I'm not sure what this accent is, by the way. But that's all we're doing. We're the good. We just said, just come on. Just come on. That's South Park Dandy Man. I don't even know where that voice came from. But someone said in the chat, this is literally good versus evil. It is. It's not even really Democrat and Republican anymore. It's just good versus evil. It's right versus wrong. These MAGA Republicans are They're on the side of fascism. They're on the side of evil. That's it. That's it. That's a non-political position by me because I'm observing their behavior, and their behavior is evil. It's cruel. It's unusual.
