Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an 8-figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your 6. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex, and today we are tearing down a massive limiting belief that is keeping your future empire locked in your head. The illusion of readiness. Because let's be real, if you are sitting at your 9-to-5, telling yourself you just need one more certification, one more year of experience, or one more book before you launch your business, you are lying to yourself. Let's break down why you have to launch unqualified. First, understand that readiness is a feeling, not a mathematical fact. Too many aspiring founders are completely paralyzed by imposter syndrome. They look at the titans in their industry and assume those leaders started out with absolute certainty. They didn't. They started terrified, completely unqualified, and figured it out under fire. If you wait until you feel 100% ready to take a massive risk, you will literally wait until you die.
Whether you are launching a digital agency or building SaaS, the market doesn't care about your internal anxiety. If you wait for permission from your own ego, you kill your speed to market. Second, you have to realize that competence is only built in motion. People do not become experts in a classroom and then step onto the battlefield. They step onto the battlefield, get punched in the mouth, adapt, and become experts. So instead of hiding behind another course or tutorial, force the issue. Pitch the client, sign the contract, and put yourself in a position where you have no choice but to figure out the fulfillment. Make sheer panic your ultimate operational fuel. Lastly, when you execute before you are ready, you permanently shatter your own limiting beliefs. You realize that you are fully capable of handling chaos, and your confidence becomes absolutely unshakable. Supreme adaptability, extreme risk tolerance, and a refusal to wait create a legendary CEO. When you drop the illusion of readiness, you finally start the real work. Bottom line, you will never feel ready for the level you are meant to play at. Jump off the cliff and build the parachute on the way down, because when you do, you will scale faster than ever.

You may never feel completely ready. And waiting for that feeling can keep you stuck indefinitely. In this episode of The Level Up Podcast, Paul Alex breaks down why entrepreneurs often build confidence and competence after taking action—not before.More certifications, books, and courses can be useful. But preparation eventually reaches a point where the only thing left to do is enter the market and learn from real experience. That is where growth accelerates. In this episode, you’ll learn:• Why feeling unprepared does not automatically mean you are incapable• How impostor syndrome can disguise itself as endless preparation• Why real-world experience develops skills that theory cannot• How taking action before you feel completely ready can build confidenceThe truth is simple:You do not need to know everything before you begin.Prepare enough to deliver real value. Then make the pitch.Test the offer.Serve the customer.Learn from what happens and improve quickly.Confidence is often the result of surviving situations you once thought you could not handle.Stop waiting for perfect readiness.Launch.Learn.Adapt.Your Network is your NETWORTH!Make sure to add me on all SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS:Instagram: https://jo.my/paulalex2024Facebook: https://jo.my/fbpaulalex2024YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGhDAD1JyGGzSQUPD9lc9HQLinkedIn: https://jo.my/inpaulalex2024Looking for a secondary source of income or want to become an entrepreneur?
