First, realize that outgrowing your environment will make you feel like a traitor. Too many people begin to see massive success in their business, And then they subconsciously sabotage it because they don't want to make their 9-to-5 friends uncomfortable. That is a devastating loyalty to the past. If you shrink your potential so that average people feel better about their own lack of execution, you are disrespecting your own family's future. Whether you are moving into new tax brackets or just refusing to gossip at the water cooler anymore, elevation creates friction.
If you hold on to the guilt, you kill your own ascent. Second, you have to understand that your success is not an insult to them; it is an invitation. People who achieve greatness realize that the best way to help their old circle is not by staying stuck with them, but by showing them what is actually possible. So, instead of dimming your light, turn it up. Sever the ties with the habits, the conversations, and the people that anchor you to mediocrity.

When you fully accept your new identity as an elite founder and release the need to belong to your old life, your energy becomes completely unbounded.
