Too many transitioning founders let a bad day at the office bleed into their side hustle. They let a micromanaging boss ruin their energy for their own company. That is a massive failure of compartmentalization.
Your day job is just a temporary funding mechanism. It is the past. Your business is the future. Whether you are answering support tickets or crunching spreadsheets, your brain must live 12 months ahead. If you let today's friction break you, you kill tomorrow's empire.
Second, you have to act as if the exit has already happened. People who rapidly scale out of the rat race make decisions from the perspective of their future CEO self. When you rent space in tomorrow, today just becomes a stepping Bottom line, do not let your current coordinates define your destination. Anchor your mind to the future, execute the blueprint, and walk through the fire. Because when you do, you will arrive exactly where you planned faster than ever.
