Too many founders only look at their software bills and vendor costs when trying to save money. They completely ignore the hourly rate of their own team. If you drag your top sales closer into a pointless administrative huddle, you are actively preventing them from generating revenue. Whether it is a daily check-in or a weekly strategy session, every meeting must have a strict, measurable return on investment.
If you just meet to talk, you kill your daily output. Second, you have to establish absolute rules of engagement. People do not respect your time unless you force them to. They will put 30 minutes on your schedule just to ask a quick question. So, instead of automatically hitting accept, demand an agenda beforehand. Make it a hard rule in your company that if there is no clear objective, the meeting does not happen. Lastly, a ruthless calendar creates massive freedom. When you completely slash the administrative fluff from your day, your team gets hours of deep work returned to them. Strategic isolation, asynchronous communication, and extreme Extreme calendar defense. Create a hyper-efficient organization. When you clear the schedule, you accelerate the execution. Bottom line, stop playing office and start running a business. Audit the calendar, cancel the noise, and get back to work. Because when you do, you will see productivity higher than ever.
