Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight-figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your 6. Get ready to level up right now. What's up, everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex, and today we are exposing a massive intellectual leak that keeps aspiring founders completely paralyzed. The cost of cheap advice. Because let's be real, if you are taking business advice from a family member who has worked a secure corporate job their entire life, or a friend who is deep in debt, you are letting fear dictate your future. Let's break down why free advice is incredibly expensive. First, understand that people project their own limitations onto your ambition. When you tell your average social circle that you are quitting your job to start an agency or invest in real estate, they will instantly list 100 reasons why it will fail. They aren't doing this to be malicious; They are doing it because your courage highlights their cowardice.
If they couldn't do it, they assume you can't either. Whether you are launching software or a consulting firm, accepting advice from pedestrians on how to fly a jet will crash your company. If you listen to the timid, you kill your own audacity. Second, you have to fiercely audit whose words you allow into your mind. People who build massive empires only take advice from those who have successfully walked the exact minefield they are standing in right now. So, instead of polling your broke friends on your new marketing strategy, pay the premium to get in the room with elite operators. Invest in mentors who have the scars, the bank accounts, and the systems to back up their claims. Make elite data the only data you consume. Lastly, operating purely on high-level intelligence gives you an unfair advantage in the market. When you execute strategies that have been battle-tested by titans, you skip years of expensive trial and error. Supreme discernment, radical environment auditing, and a willingness to pay for truth create an untouchable CEO. When you stop taking cheap advice, your net worth climbs. Bottom line? You cannot learn how to build an empire from people who have never laid a single brick.
Protect your ears, consult the experts, and execute. Because when you do, you will grow smarter than ever. Thanks for tuning in to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex reminding you, advice is only as valuable as the person giving it. Filter the noise, trust the proven players, and as always, keep leveling up.
