Transcript of Postgame Show: Top 5 Wrestling Entrances (feat. JuJu Gotti) New

All right, let's bring aboard Juju here. Juju, did you watch any of WrestleMania? Did you see any clips of WrestleMania this weekend?

I couldn't help but see a thousand and hours. Whether I was locked in or not, they was letting me know what exactly was happening in that arena.

Well, what stood out to you? Like, was there anything that drew your attention?

It stood out that my brother Stephen A was in there the first day of the playoffs, and I know he had a lot of opinions this morning, so I'm not sure how many games my boy actually watched. But it also stood out, man, just how much fun and how much joy that those wrestlers bring to every single person in that audience.

It was during the Knicks game, like he was there at WrestleMania Night 1 during the Knicks-Hawks game. Mike, they showed him on the screen there, like for the folks in attendance. Juju, they booed him out.

He got the biggest pop on TV. It felt like the biggest negative pop.

Yeah, he got some heat, but he leaned in. That was cool to see.

Yeah.

And come on. Yeah. Gets paid tens of millions of dollars. I'm sure he could either rewatch or educate himself on the game. I'm sure he was dialed in as a Knicks fan.

I do— like, I'll admit now, granted Stephen A doesn't pay to be there, okay? But if I had WrestleMania tickets, which of course are very expensive, and the Heat were playing at the same time a playoff game, I mean, I'm watching the Heat on my phone. Like, I bought the tickets.

For WrestleMania 39, I was doing a lot of work actually around LA at the time, and it was when the Miami Hurricanes were in the Final 4, and they played that Saturday, and I, I just had the phone the entire time.

I mean, this happened to me, and I always wondered if this was ever going to be the case, if I would be faced with this kind of scenario where the Heat or the Panthers, for instance, have a playoff game, and what if there's a Pearl Jam concert at the same time? And this happened last year. It was game 1 in the— in first round, it was game 1, Panthers and Lightning. And it was during the Pearl Jam show. And I did not like that scenario at all. But of course, I went to Pearl Jam and, you know, I'm keeping track on my phone. Panthers, take that ass. You know what I'm saying, Juju?

Right. Yes, sir. And another thing that stood out to me is the brother, even though he's now my sworn enemy, he messes with my sister Tristan, messes with Cameron. I don't like it. You're an enemy no matter what. Jey Uso gets the crowd going, man. When he comes out, that intro, it go crazy. So it made me think of what were the top 5 wrestling intros from my childhood.

Juju, you know, Booker T, of course. Harlem Heat. Booker T is a commentator for NXT. And when Booker T comes to the ring, uh, comes to his announce table before the show starts, the crowd in unison, they always chant, Hulk Hogan, we coming for you! Hulk Hogan, we coming for you! Booker loves it.

I did not know that, bro. Salute to Bad Bunny too for giving my boy Booker T more life, man, with that track he put out.

Uh, you got a Joker of the Day for us today, Juju?

Yes sir, man. New York Knicks fans, have you not learned anything? I'm talking about it was Gotham after Game 1. Salute for the F Trey Young chants. I do like that, that's hilarious. You guys got 1 point with that, but we're expecting you guys to win the championship this year. Guys, news flash, you're blowing your load a little early on Game 1 versus the Hawks, so I'm gonna have to give you guys the Joker of the Day for acting like you haven't been there at all. Come on, guys.

Yeah, they were like— the streets were packed. They're up 1 game to nothing, you know. Although I do— although I heard the call on the radio, I didn't actually see it. Did streamers and confetti come down at Crypto when the Lakers won Game 1? Because if so, that's a disgrace.

I can't confirm or deny. By the time that game was over, I was on the couch nodding off because East Coast times.

Man, that brother is sensational. I'm gonna keep saying he's not the most accomplished basketball player I've ever seen. That's MJ, that's LeBron James now, that's Steph Curry now. But this is clearly my eye test, like I mean say, I have never seen a basketball player be able to do this stuff. The crossover spin move into the dunk, and then like Dan says, to the next play, the 3. Oh my goodness gracious, that's amazing. And salute to the Spurs fans and the organization for showing up and showing out, wearing them shirts last night. But it makes me ask the question— I want to ask the question to y'all— is it fair or foul to expect your fans, your high-paying fans, to put that shirt on and embarrass them on this, on the Jumbotron if they don't wear it?

Yeah, that, that's, that's usually a move they pull pregame, you know, where like they'll put the fan on and they shame them into putting the shirt on.

I do think that, uh, when— when we— I'mma back to Wimbyama, a little free game. Um, Ramona Shelburne asked him, um, speaking of Tim Duncan and the Admiral being there in support, uh, whether he feels the weight of following in their footsteps just these days on how great they were. And Wimby says, I wouldn't say it's a weight, I would say it feels safe. It feels like if you trip, there's a lot of hands there to catch you. And that's, man, free game to everybody out there. That's how we supposed to treat this next generation, man. Yes, they're gonna mess up. Yes, they're wearing the shysties into the library looking ridiculous. They wearing their pants half off Yes, but we can't just shun them for being who they are. We can't shun Jared McCain for wearing fingernails. We got to go to a young brother and say, okay, teach me how to, how to be cool doing this and, and learn some of the ways while being a positive influence and giving some positive reinforcement to the younger generation.
