I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief John Bickley. It's Monday, December 16th, and this is your Morning Wire afternoon update. Canada's Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, is reportedly considering stepping down. Sources say the development comes after Finance Minister, Christie of Freeland announced her resignation. In a letter published this morning, Freeland took all of Parliament Hill by surprise. All on the same day, she was set to table her fall economic statement a document that typically includes key economic metrics such as the size of Canada's deficit. Leaders from the conservative Party and their coalition have demanded an election, while the new Democratic Party leader has called on Trudeau to resign.

At least three people are dead and several others injured following a shooting at a Wisconsin Christian School. Daily Wire reporter, Spencer Linquis, has more.

Police say the alleged shooter was believed to be a student at Abundant Life Christian School and is among the deceased. Five additional victims are transported to a local hospital with injuries ranging from minor to life-threatening. Police have refused to release the age, gender, or any other identifying marks of the student accused of being the shooter. Police chief, Sean Barnes, described the incident as devastating, urging to avoid the area as the investigation continues. Barnes gave the following remarks about those who were killed.

Two other people that died were a teacher and a teenage student. Six other people were injured. Two students are now in critical condition in the hospital, and these injuries are considered life-threatening injuries. Four students are also at other area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Federal authorities are are finally investigating the numerous drone sightings along the Eastern Seaboard. Daily Wire reporter Tim pierce has the latest.

Fbi and Homeland Security agents are utilizing drone detection systems and infrared cameras after nearly 1,000 reported drone sightings since November. While The Red House advisor, John Kirby said there's no evidence of threats to our national security. However, lawmakers in New York and New Jersey have criticized the administration's handling of the situation. Drones have been spotted near the Picatinny Arsenal, as well as President-elect Donald Trump's Bedmanster Golf Club in New Jersey, sparking concern from nearby residents and local officials. The President-Elect addressed the drone situation during a press conference earlier today.

The government knows what is happening. Look, our military knows where they took off from, and for some reason, they don't want to comment They're very close to Bedmanst. I think maybe I won't spend the weekend in Bedmanst. I've decided to cancel my trip.

The re-election bid for New York Mayor Eric Adams took a massive hit after being denied millions in public match matching funds. The campaign finance board denied Adams over $4 million in matching funds. The board flagged irregularities in Adams' past and current campaigns, cited concerns over straw donations and questionable contributions. This comes as the campaign has been under investigation for alleged corruption and collusion with foreign governments. Adams' campaign still has over $3 million on hand, but the loss of public funds adds pressure as challengers line up for the crowded Democratic primary. Trump referenced Adams today, suggesting he'd consider granting him a pardon.

I think that he was treated pretty unfairly. Now, I haven't seen the gravity at all, but it seems like being upgraded in an airplane many years ago. I know probably everybody here has been upgraded They see you're all stars, and they say, I want to upgrade that person from NBC. I'm going to upgrade him. And that would mean you'll spend the rest of your life in prison. I don't know. Somehow. I hope not. I mean, I'd have to see it because I don't know the facts.

Cnn is facing massive backlash after allegedly helping to free a prisoner with a dark past during a segment. Daily Wire reporter, Mairead Alorty has the details.

The prisoner, initially identified as Adel Gerbal, is now believed to be Salama Mohamed Salama, a former Syrian intelligence officer accused of extortion, torture, and war crimes. The viral footage led by journalist Clarissa Ward showed the man's dramatic release. Fact checkers noted inconsistencies, including his well-groomed appearance and lack of visible signs of confinement. Locals claimed Salama was detained for a dispute with Mossad regime officials over extorted money. Cnn acknowledged the controversy, saying it's continuing to investigate and standing by its reporting as accurate to the events witnessed.

Polster Anne Selser is refuting claims that her infamously wrong Iowa poll was election interference. The allegations I take very seriously. They're saying that this was election interference, which is a crime. The idea that I intentionally set up to deliver this response when I've never done that before. I've had plenty of opportunities to do it. It's not my ethic. Trump accused Selser of intentionally suppressing GOP voters with a shocking and discouraging result. Selser had put Harris at plus three in Iowa in October. The state ultimately went to Trump by more than 13 points.
