During the cabinet meeting, President Trump said Gulf nations owe it to the United States to join the Abraham Accords as his administration pushes to expand normalization agreements between Israel and Arab countries. He also warned that any future deal with Iran could hinge on participation in the accords. Trump added that Iran is now negotiating on fumes. The president also touted American energy production, saying the United States is now producing twice as much oil as Russia and Saudi Arabia combined. Secretary of State Marco Rubio also took aim at Cuba's communist government, calling the island nation a, quote, failed state and warning that it poses a national security threat.

The Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology will be headed by the White House's former AISR David Sachs and science advisor Michael Kratsios and include more than a dozen top tech executives. Bondi will serve as the intermediary between the government and tech executives on the panel. A Democrat sex therapist lost her primary runoff in Texas after anti-Semitic comments. Daily Wire contributor Tim Pearce has the latest.
Leftist sex therapist Maureen Galindo was defeated in a South Texas Democrat primary runoff on Tuesday after prominent party leaders condemned her for anti-Semitic views. Galindo voiced a plan to, quote, imprison Zionists at an ICE detention center in the newly drawn House district, but pushed back on suggestions that she was creating an internment camp. Galindo received backlash for her anti-Semitic comments by far-left Democrat Party leaders such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Hakeem Jeffries, who said Galindo's rhetoric is extremely dangerous. She lost the primary runoff to Democrat Bexar County Sheriff's Office official Johnny Garcia, who also condemned her comments.
A potential plutonium deal with the Trump administration could turn Cold War nuclear warheads into fuel for power plants. Daily Wire reporter Zach Jewell has the story.
The US has a stockpile of roughly 100 tons of material, originally components of nuclear warheads. The deal would grant 5 private companies access to these materials containing plutonium, allowing nuclear companies to build small modular reactors. The Energy Department originally planned to dilute and bury much of the material, but some of the nuclear startups believe it is better to use the waste as fuel. On Tuesday, the Energy Department said it selected 5 companies to enter into, quote, advanced negotiations, potentially receiving some surplus plutonium. However, this deal sparked criticism from some Democrats, saying it needs, quote, extremely strict safeguards since plutonium can be used to create nuclear weapons.
Late last night, officials told 16,000 residents in Southern California that they could finally return home after a chemical explosion was averted. Daily Wire assistant editor Andy Valdez reports.
At its peak, the crisis forced roughly 60,000 people out of their homes in the area of Garden Grove. That came after officials were called on Thursday because of a leak at GKN Aerospace. A 7,000-gallon tank of methyl methacrylate, a toxic inflammable chemical, sprang a leak and officials evacuated the area over concerns that the chemical could catch fire and cause a massive explosion.

Kenya's National Intelligence Service has identified at least 1,000 men who left for work in Russia and ended up fighting in Ukraine. Only 30 of them have returned alive.
An Ontario doctor is under fire after assessing a patient for assisted suicide outside a Tim Hortons. Daily Wire lifestyle reporter Lauren Baer has the story.
Medical assistance in dying, or MAiD, has drawn massive criticism from around the world since the Canadian law originally meant to ease the passing of terminally ill patients was vastly expanded to include people with chronic illness or even mental conditions like depression and anxiety. The actions of Dr. James MacLean underscored the consequences of the law when he reportedly assessed a patient outside of a Tim Hortons coffee shop, approved the man for assisted suicide, and drove him to his fatal procedure all in the same day. The stated reason for the government-sanctioned suicide was irritable bowel syndrome and unspecified mental illness. Dr. MacLean was previously investigated for failing to administer one of the three suicide drugs in a procedure causing a patient to restart breathing after death was declared. After an internal investigation, Dr. McLean was allowed to continue practicing with 6 months of clinical supervision.

The US Space Force has awarded SpaceX a $2 billion contract for a satellite network. This network will be a part of the Military Space Data Network Backbone program. That's a constellation of hundreds of satellites designed to give real-time information to the Pentagon. The SpaceX network will connect missile tracking sensors and weapons platforms worldwide. The contract amounts to about a fifth of the Space Force's annual budget, and a functional prototype is expected by the end of 2027. The CDC is searching for volunteers among its workers to go to U.S. airports to screen travelers for Ebola. DataWire homepage managing editor Jordan Schroeder has the details.
The agency is taking precautions as the viral disease spreads in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. The request for volunteers came in the form of an email from acting CDC director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya. Last week, the U.S. barred noncitizens who had visited the DRC, Uganda, or South Sudan within the last 3 weeks. Americans who traveled from or through those countries have been directed to one of the 3 domestic airports for an Ebola screening. Meanwhile, the Trump administration has set restrictions on how U.S. health officials can interact with the World Health Organization about the Ebola outbreak. Relations between the White House and the WHO have continued to be strained over the international health body's response to the COVID pandemic.
DHS has directed ICE attorneys to go after lawyers accused of filing false asylum claims. Here with more is Daily Wire immigration reporter Jenny Ter.
DHS General Counsel James Percival instructed ICE's legal office to develop anti-fraud policies for robust enforcement of existing federal law, arguing that fraudulent asylum claims have become widespread in immigration court. Percival wrote that asylum claims are designed for, quote, unique and narrow circumstances, but that the standard practice is now arguing that, quote, virtually every illegal alien is in fear of returning to their homeland due to either political or racial persecution. The directive does not create new penalties but signals broader use of administrative tools that can lead to fines, cease and desist orders, disciplinary referrals, and in some cases, criminal prosecution. The memo also reflects the Trump administration's wider push to expand immigration enforcement and scrutinize lawyers and advocacy groups challenging federal immigration policy.

The owner of the vehicle left his dog in the car only for the dog to allegedly set off the firearm by accident.
