The Raiders have named Kirk Cousins as the team's week 1 starter.

What are we even doing here?

I mean, we're, we're, we're days away from like, like they are currently practicing for week 1. We're at the point where training camps are over. The, you know, interteam scrimmages are over. They are preparing. It's absurd for week 1, but they don't know who their quarterback is because they, they won't have a quarterback through the entire year. Like I know we've started our week 1 rankings a little bit like behind the scenes, but we haven't, I haven't really been diving into the matchups. I don't know who the Falcons play week 1, but I'm taking the other team.

So are they.

It's rare to have—

Sure. Great. They could have been anywhere.

It's very rare to name a starting quarterback after September 1st. This year we have Cousins. The last 2 years nobody did that. Before that it was the Cardinals.

It was Trubisky and the Steelers on September 1st. 6th of 2022 to Rod Taylor, 2021. Yeah, I'm not seeing like a string of All-Pros getting named starters.

Yeah, I think there is, there is a—

There's a direct correlation with naming your starter this late and having a horrifically bad year.

Clint Kubiak says he's optimistic Ash and Gente will play week 1 against the Dolphins. I, there's so much. Whispers in the bushes about Mike Washington Jr. having a big role. Where are you guys with that?

I'm— I think there's been enough smoke, certain things said by Kubiak where I'm not back to where I started. Where I started when Kubiak came here was I was like full out on Gente. I thought it would be a timeshare.

Like what they didn't see.

Exactly what you saw coming off a Super Bowl where you took Kenbow and Walker and you put them behind Charbonnet. I'm not back to that place, but I do think that Mike Washington Jr., what he's done in preseason, what he's done in camp, and with the ability, like if they have a player in Mike Washington, which I was very skeptical of, then they will, they will rest Ginty Moore with it. So I have, I've moved the needle a little bit. I think I've got, I think I've got Mike Washington up to like 140. 40 carries somewhere around there, which is not a, not a ton, but it's, it's certainly not the situation where I view Ashen Gentry as what Christian McCaffrey was last year.

Imika Ekpegbu working off to the side, projected to be ready for week 1. The world would like us to clarify that it was a toe sprain, not turf toe. He seems, I mean, I've watched a lot of—

I don't think we know. We don't, we don't really know what's going on.

They have been, they have not said turf toe. That's all I'm reporting. The team is not— the team has said sprained toe, not turf toe. There is a difference. He is still trying to basically be able to cut on that foot, on that toe. He's been going through all the motions this week, trying to strengthen that, see if he's ready for week 1.

You know, it's— Yeah, our medical guy, Matthew Betz, certified PT, is reminding us. Turf toe is a sprain of the big toe.

Yeah, you can't turf toe the small ones.

Right.

That's why if they're just saying it's a sprained toe, it could, it could still be turf toe. Yeah, it's which toe is it? And because of the recovery and the struggles with it, it definitely feels like turf toe.

Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I, I think we hope to see him out there in week 1 and maybe he ends up dropping in ADP. Panthers coach Dave Canales says he is optimistic Jonathan Brooks will play in week 1.

How do you guys project—

How do you guys project the Jonathan Brooks, Chuba week 1 split?

50-50.

And who gets the first carry?

Chuba. Yeah, I think Chuba. I bet this just We're probably hot hand the entire season.

Well, Brooks should have a hotter hand. I think Chuba's had very few hot hands in his career.

I mean, you, you, that's why he's a warm-handed running back. The fantasy football drafters, you're making your choice of who you think it will be, but I think it will be a very frustrating back and forth of—

They've been a good running team.

They, yes, they can have a very good running scheme. They have a solid offensive line. But like last year, it was, I mean, it started as Chuba and then Rico takes over and then it was hot hand. So I just think week to week, that's, this could be pretty tough. If, if one of them is seemingly going to take over eventually, it probably should be Jonathan Brooks. But I think it is a, I think it's a sketchy move week to week. I don't know that you're going to be able to really count on either of them.

All right. Our final mock draft. Jason at the 1 spot. Mike at the 5 spot. I'm at 9. It's a 12-team mock. 1 quarterback, 2 running back, 2 wide receivers, 1 tight end, 1 flex, 4 bench. Away we go.

Jason kicks us off. All right, Jason, make your pick.

Take Jahmyr Gibbs.

Maybe I'll get Sailor Jerry at the end. Just kidding. He's just a reason to not draft anyone other than Gibbs with the 1.01, also known as the player Andy gets to draft in the League of Record on Monday.

I have, I have heard from a lot of people. I mean, McCaffrey's going at 1.04 right now.

Yeah.

Gibbs, Bijan, Chase, McCaffrey. But I have heard a lot of back and forth from people nervous about taking McCaffrey.

It's, yeah, but they're nervous.

Sure.

Tale as old as time.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I have, I have been one of those people where I'm, I am still a little hesitant when there's a tie-breaking, like right now he went number 4. For me, he would probably go, you know, around 7. I would take JSN and Amon-Ra over, over McCaffrey just because of those fears. But I mean, if you're trying to win a championship and, you know, looking for the highest possible upside, it's usually Christian McCaffrey.

Mike, you're on the clock.

All right. So the— we talked a little bit about Puka and his situation yesterday. We don't have clarity as of this point. Yeah, it seems like Puka will be playing. You know, week 1, I just, there was a, I just saw a promo video for the Rams-49ers getting ready for the Australia game. And Puka is heavily featured in said video. So the NFL at least is still putting that material out. Yeah. But I'm going to, I'm going to try something a little bit different here. I think James Cook is an elite running back and I'm going to take him here. over the wide receivers and see what my team— see if I like what happens with the team on the way back.

I mean, we just did the draft of offenses and obviously the Bills are one of those top 5 elite offenses that you want pieces of and Cook will score a ton of touchdowns.

With Mike on the clock, I knew that there was a 5-pack of guys, maybe 6, that I was into. This one's interesting. Cook, Puka, Jonathan Taylor, and then Achane.

Oh man.

That 108. And I—

Look, I just, I just want to bang the table one final time before the season starts for De'Von Achane. There is—

you sure about that?

I'm so certain. This is why.

Yeah.

This is why. This is the 3rd best running back in football, in my opinion. Oh, and what? Yeah.

You're saying as a—

I think as a talent, as a versatile I mean, this was the only back that was— what did he say? Absolutely the most consistent running back last year on a team that was— do you remember that Tua— what are we talking about with the Falcons? Tua is a terrible quarterback.

Yeah.

And I know he has his propensity to get the ball.

Oh yeah, he loves checking it down.

To check it down. Achane is an elite running back. People are underestimating Malik Willis and this offense. Chris Bell is going to be there from day one and Achane is going to be worthy of this pick at the end of the year.

Are you saying that if you were an NFL GM, you would—

Number 3.

You would take him number 3.

So you'd take him ahead of Hampton and Ginty.

Yes.

And Cook.

Yes.

Jonathan Taylor.

I think he's the 3rd best all-around running back in football.

I have unfortunately a weird selection because of that. I thought I'd get Amon-Ra or JSN. Now I have to choose between them. So I'll just take Jackson Smith-Njigba at 109.

Yeah, that makes sense. But between him and Amon-Ra, or I'm sorry, it, yeah, yeah, I guess it, or Jay, are you still JSN firmly over Amon-Ra?

No, certainly not. Not firmly.

I struggle with those two.

I do too. I think they're in the exact same, you know, tier. I could see it going either way. I mean, JSN has far more target market share of his team, but the offense I think is far better for the Lions as far as total points scored on the season and the way that they play. So yeah, I mean, I'm fine either way. Honestly, I would love to be in Julia's spot where she gets to get Amon-Ra St. Brown at the 10 spot.

Yep. So we got Amon-Ra, CeeDee Lamb, and Kenneth Walker finishing out the first round. Good work, Matt, honoring Kenbone Walker to be a first-round selection.

You took him ahead of Barkley.

Yeah, that's right, Saquon Barkley. You're a second-round pick. Then Chase Brown, Hampton goes to Julia, and then Andy wasting no time in selecting Justin Jefferson.

Yeah, it was Jefferson or AJ Brown there for me. Did not take the pick of Ginty. And at the running back spot, I just prefer the JSN Jefferson combo. We'll go wide receiver, wide receiver.

So after Jefferson, we get Ashton Gentry, Nico Collins, Derrick Henry. I am back on the clock. I took James Cook in the first, which I mean, seeing how the draft board has unfolded, that really worked out. We went very high T, very heavy in the running backs and AJ Brown. An elite wide receiver 1 did fall to me as compared to, you know, the running backs on the board here would be Kyren, Jeremiah Love, fine players, but getting to start with 2 elite, like an elite running back and elite wide receiver, that feels pretty good. So I'm going to take AJ Brown. Then when Josh Allen first— whoa, first quarterback off of the board in the 2nd round. I guess baby Jake just He needs him some Josh Allen. Kyle takes George Pickens, DeVonta Smith, and then Jason, you are back on the clock.

So this is, this is really, really interesting to me. There's 3 players at 3 different positions that are kind of a tier break at all of them. I mean, obviously you've got both Brock Bowers and Trey McBride. So I could take the tight end, which here at the 2-3 turn, I feel like is a great value. But there's also good value with Drake London. You know, he's been a player I haven't been as hot on, but he started the year because of the PUA. But he, that was also because he was starting the year like near the end of the first round, very beginning of the second round going ahead of, you know, it was like you were basically in the, am I taking London or Justin Jefferson? I think we've talked that situation down enough to where, man, he's here. And then at running back, I do think Jeremiah Love at the 2-3 turn is totally— you're near his floor and you still have crazy upside. But since I've got Gibbs, I think I'm going to go more hero running back. I'll take Drake London and then a— and I'm doing that so that I can say I got a 3rd round Brock Bowers.

What a value, Jason. Oh my goodness.

But that sets me up. Gibbs, London and Bowers, one of each. Since I do prefer— people talk about, you know, what strategy do you have at the turn? I prefer, and I don't always do this, but I find that I'm happier when I split my positions at the turn. If I go running back, running back, or wide receiver, wide receiver, the flexibility I just have to have— I don't get any choice of the next 24 picks, and I just have to get lucky that the position available is there for me. Whereas if I kind of go running back, wide receiver, take one of each. The next time you come back around, you have more flexibility to take what's left on the board.

All right. So you took Brock Bowers. Brooksie takes Kyren. So he has started with 2 running backs, then Breece Hall, then Jeremiah Love. That puts me back on the clock, trying to pull up my rankings here and see who is left at the wide receiver position. This is the area where you got to Kind of start figuring out, are you willing to go on Malik Nabers? I had all of my chips in on Malik. Did not like the press conference of the, I'll play when I'm ready. I mean, I know he's just, you know, kind of up there talking openly, but I thought, I thought we were going to be ready for week 1 here, Mr. Malik Nabers. At running back, Javonte Cam Scadaboo, Travis Achane Jr. Those, that's kind of the top of the ADP list for the running back position. But I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to take Chris Olave to go with AJ Brown. So 2 wide receivers, 1 running back. Matthew Betts right after me takes Malik Nabers. Trey McBride follows that up. Papa Josh takes Ladd McConkey right in front of Andy because of course this is what Papa Josh has to do.

Andy, you're on the clock. You have 2 wide receivers. You got JSN and Justin Jefferson.

Yeah. I mean, I get that Ladd was his my guy, but given that he's got 2 wide receivers, I would imagine you're looking not at wide receivers.

It's DeAndre Swift. I'm taking DeAndre Swift.

Oh my goodness. In the 3rd?

Yeah. I mean, we don't have an on guy to start the season. I like the pass catching prowess.

Well, he's week to week, Andy. Yeah.

Well, there's 1 week until football. So no, I think DeAndre Swift right now, especially early season, will be a steal. Jameson, or sorry, Javonte does go next, then Rice, McMillan, Waddle, and Ibuka. Colston Loveland off the board at the 4.03, and I am going running back again. I'm taking Ja'Darian Price.

That's, that's really high ADP-wise for him. I had him flagged to come to me at the 4.12. This is where he's going to go in drafts. He's not going to fall to where his normal ADP is. I think people are realizing the situation for a first-round back is pretty bad. pretty perfect on a rookie that could be something special. You don't know. So I don't, I don't mind that at all. Taking Swift and Price there. Yeah, I think you're off to a decent start.

There are rumors that we'll hear more about J'Darien Price on tomorrow's episode of the show, not from me, but from somebody else. Swift and Price at running backs, JSN and Jefferson as my wide receivers, Flowers, Wilson, Higgins. And then Mike is back on the clock.

AJ Brown and Olave.

Yep. At the running back position, Skadaboo is still there. Skadaboo is starting to feel— Jay, where are you with Skadaboo?

Yeah, no, I mean—

Because my risk is starting to feel worse.

I think that he is an elite talent. I really do. I think he's a headache for this team and I don't know that Harbaugh loves him. I think that this is a—

we do have a clip that just came out. We haven't been able to watch. It got shared in here. It's Scadaboo talking to Kay Adams. And the headline is Scadaboo considered retiring after the season-ending injury. I have to watch to get all the full context.

Speaking on Up and Adams, Scadaboo said he told himself in college that he would retire if suffering a major injury.

Well, he lied because he suffered a major injury and he has not retired. No, I mean, it's not just the injury. Obviously you've got Judkins and Scadaboo coming off of the injury. Scadaboo on a better timeline and he's, he's been doing stuff for a long time. He says he's fully, you know, we talked to him in New York and he said he was fully good to go. He could land, he overflipped on his backflip, yada, yada. I think I'm more scared of the situation on a coaching and opportunity standpoint.

Are we scared of Najee?

I'm scared of Nagy. You said it almost.

Oh, okay.

I mean, I get it. We shouldn't be scared of, of the competition there.

Cam Scadaboo shouldn't have to be.

Cam Scadaboo is significantly better than those— this version of Najee and Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary. I, I would like to have Scadaboo on my team, but I would like him to be like my running back 3.

Yeah, I get it. So quarterback-wise, it's still just Josh Allen off the board. Baby Jake, we'll let you sit in the fact that you did that. At the wide receiver position, top of ADP would be DJ Moore, Terry McLaurin. Davante Adams is there. But look, we're in the, we're in the 4th. I don't know that the mock draft has, has really unveiled itself. where I've been able to do this. Luther Burden, baby. Luther. Finally, finally it worked out. Luther Burden is on the squad. He joins AJ Brown and Chris Olave. After I take Luther goes DJ Moore, Travis Achane Jr., David Montgomery goes to Brooks. He's pretty high T over there. Jason, you're at the turn. You are back on the clock.

We're back on the Scadaboo conversation. This would be my running back 2, not my running back 3, which I would prefer. But There is a tier break here. It really— Bucky Irving is going to be such a fascinating story this year. Everything in preseason, everything in camp has been that Kenny Gainwell is super involved and is kind of taking the passing work where while Bucky is doing all of the primary running duties. So that'll be interesting to unfold. There's also, you know, you look at ADP and you see Josh Jacobs there. Obviously that's not happening.

No.

But when you see Josh Jacobs there, you've got to ask yourself what you're doing with Marshawn Lloyd or with the Green Bay Packer running back situation.

That is a good tip of let Josh Jacobs be the reminder for your, your Marshawn Lloyd ADP of, because this is a, I mean, I don't want to speak for you, Jay, but it's like we're at the point where someone's probably going to draft Marshawn Lloyd pretty soon. So you're at the turn. If you were a Lloyd believer, you would have to do it right here.

I couldn't draft him over Scadaboo, Bucky Irving, some of those guys that, you know, we're still betting on a super fragile guy. I mean, I know the whole injury problem. I was talking to Mike off, you know, outside of the studio before. I was like, my top 10 tips and tricks or the things to remember episode at the end of this year, I'm going to look back at Jonathan Brooks and Marshawn Lloyd and Kendre Miller and I'm going to I'm going to just going to see, was it like, oh, we should have known or hey, there is no such thing as a drip run. I'm going to take Cam Scadaboo. At this point, he represents kind of a tier for the rest of the running backs. And then at wide receiver, I would take Jameson Williams. Like that's who I want to take, but I've got Gibbs. I don't want to do the wide receiver running back thing. And I'm, I'm more and more and more I'm more and more bullish on Davante Adams. The old man has been rising to me. So I think, I think he's going to have a really successful season.

The only worry I have with Adams is at his age, if an injury happens, it will be, you know, it's always got the peptide protocols in place. I hope so, man.

Davante Adams, Jameson Williams, Tyler Warren, Rome Odunze, all guys that had my eye on this round. Mike, you're back on the clock.

I, now I'm down bad in terms of just overall strategy. As I'm, I mean, I could keep going with the hero RB build.

Baysal, I mean, if I'm taking a running back, look at you, it's like Bucky, Trevo, Baysal, Tootin. I would be taking Tootin. However, Christian Watson is still here in round 5. I would, he would be on my bench if I am drafting him.

Because you have 3 wide receivers already.

Correct. So I've already filled my 2 wide receiver spots and the flex position. Oh, that is brutal. I had my eye on possibly going Tyler Warren, but Kyle snagged him.

You also in the 5th round here have your choice of the quarterbacks, all quarterbacks, not Josh Allen.

So I do love Lamar. This, like, I'm, I'm, I'm in a full forgiveness of last year for Lamar. I think he's going to be solid.

But, oh, Mike can't. He has no idea what he's doing.

No, I do.

I do. Why don't you tell us?

I'm taking— the but was because of AJ Brown was I have AJ Brown and I can have the Drake May AJ Brown stack. I don't feel like I overpaid for Drake May. And even though I'm still riding with just one Running back. Yeah. I feel all right with it.

Interesting. Not even tempted by Bucky there, huh?

I told you, man. I'm just like, I, I don't want Bucky. I don't want to draft Bucky.

Well, you did exactly what you're supposed to do when you don't want somebody.

I feel like at this point when you're in the middle of the 5th round, Bucky is—

Oh, he's about to be on my team. But we'll take a break first. After Drake Maye, Christian Watson off the board. Mike can't get him. 4 wide receivers for Betsy.

I know he went to a good home.

Well, yeah, I don't know. He went to a non-starting home.

It doesn't matter.

It's between a player that I think is going to have a humongous season and outkick his ADP in Marvin Harrison Jr., who, you know, it would be a little bit ahead of his ADP, but in this draft, I got a long wait. It would be here. And Parker Washington, who I continue to believe in the drumbeat. I believe in the fact that he could be the premier one on this team at this point. I'm not worried about Jacoby. BTJ, I feel like the route tree, the utilization is going to be minimal. It'll be big plays and nothing else. And so I would say PPR versus more upside.

Yeah. I mean, I guess I would default to obviously with those 2 players, some of it has to be what do you believe? Sounds like you believe in both. You believe the, the bowl case. I believe in both for both options. In which case, if you think both are good wide receivers, who's got the better environment? Who's, you know, who's on the better offense? I, you know, that should be an easy one. Is that hat doing things to the brain?

Of you saying which one's the better offense?

Which one's the better offense? I mean, Vegas projections at the very least.

We did just draft the— our— what we believe will be the best offensive line.

I didn't think Jacksonville belonged in that top 12.

it's a priority of like, okay, it's environment. But I think Marvin Harrison is very much the better red zone threat. I think he is More secure in the target share than Parker Washington. I don't know what it's going to be like in Jacksonville this year. And I trust Jacoby Brissett to get the ball to him. I mean, if you saw the numbers, if you heard the numbers from the live show, I know that was bold predictions episode. If Marvin Harrison gets 7 or more targets a game, his average fantasy points per game is 16.8. So you look at the offense, a healthy Marvin Harrison.

I'm still a believer in Marvin Harrison. Marvin Harrison and Rome Odunze are 2 guys that I have kind of, I feel like, been an idiot on according to the world because I still think that they're good players and that they're going to show that the reason they were drafted top 10 in the NFL is because of that. Most people don't believe that, which is why you're getting Marvin Harrison in the 6th round.

I mean, to me, what better place alongside JSN and Jefferson for Marvin Harrison. Parker goes next. Jonathan Brooks, Joe Burrow. Mike, you're back on the clock.

Man, Joe Burrow at the 6.07 to stack with Tee Higgins is a tremendous value. So I mean, some are— not all of our drafts have gone this way. The elite quarterbacks have been ADP-wise going a bit later. But so it's just a— make sure you're fully paying attention while your draft is going that you don't have You're not just locked into such a plan that you don't even flip over to that quarterback tab because that is outrageous to me to get Burrow there. Let's see, looking at the wide receivers, there's no one, no one really spectacular standing out to me. I mean, Terry McLaurin here could serve as a huge value. I have a shorter turn, so I got 8 picks in between my next one. But I don't know what these clowns are going to do and I don't really want to risk J.K. Dobbins. So I'm going to take him here at the 6.08. RB2. Yeah, he is my running back too. And he, maybe he's not the full season guy for the Denver Broncos. I've mentioned Jonah Coleman kind of, he scares me far more than RJ Harvey does, but at least be at the beginning of the year.

I feel pretty strong that it will be Dobbins. Mike Evans goes after that. We have a little wide receiver run. Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin, Michael Wilson goes to Brooks. Jason, the turn, you are up.

I'm a little sad. I was going to, if, if Kyborg did not pull the trigger there on Terry McLaurin, I was going to do something that I haven't.

There's no stack that I am especially in love with. So I'm going to take, again, I'm going to look at the bull case. What is the highest upside potential outcome for certain players? I'll take Brian Thomas. I don't think that, like, I don't project him to be the one, but obviously we know what he can do on the NFL field. He's been a top 10 wide receiver in the past and the best predictor of future success is past success. And then I'm stuck here. basically feeling like at the turn, if I don't take a running back here as my RB3, it's going to be nothing left. I've experienced it in every draft. So my hand is forced right now to take a running back and I'm going to pull the trigger on Jaylen Warren. The question of the Steelers backfield, I know you guys are on the Rico side.

I've been very anti-Tucker Kraft in all of my drafts. The difference between Tucker Kraft in the 5th and Tucker Kraft in the 7th.

For the 49ers, Chuba Mason, Quentin Johnston, Josh Downs, Blake Corum, and then Caleb, my, my guy. I had a group of basically 5 quarterbacks I was kind of waiting to decide between. Caleb, Jayden, they both went. I'm trying to decide here. Do I, want to just like let the quarterback position go. I still have some names way later that I'm okay with.

I mean, there's still— so let's see.

I mean, Dak is the one that stands out.

You can stack with Brissett.

I feel like I could do that maybe a little bit later. Man, maybe I don't go either of those positions.

I mean, you're at the point now. So 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. So we have 7, 7 of the 12 teams have their quarterback and the names left is Herbert, Dak, Lawrence. If you're in on the upside of Dart, Bo Nix, this is the hard part of taking the, even if you're getting an elite quarterback at a value, when I'm seeing especially guys like Dak be available in the 8th round, it's, that's tough.

Yeah. I thought about Dak. I went Casey, Concepcion. I'm going rookie, rookie here. Stribling, Concepcion. It's a strategy. I often employ. I like taking shots at the most talented, highest upside, highest target share rookies late in drafts. So Stribling, Concepcion, both players I think will have a fantasy impact in year 1. Sutton, Golden, LaPorta, and Mike back on the clock. You have your onesies already. You're filling out the depth.

Yeah, we're looking at filling out the team here. I got again 8 picks between this one and the next one. Do I possibly risk someone sniping DK Metcalf in between my next pick. I'd be pretty devastated if it happened, but I think it's probably the best thing to do for my team. So whatever you guys do, don't draft DK Metcalf. I'm going to take—

Do we believe that that will be the difference between last year's DK Metcalf, which was borderline unplayable for the majority of the season? Do we think it corrects itself?

Yeah, I mean, it could, but that's not the only change, right? Michael Pittman joining the team is also a negative for DK Metcalf. Now Pittman's been hurt most of camp. If you watched Aaron Rodgers talk about him recently, he was, he didn't seem very, he's like, it is what it is. He hasn't been here.

So he was talking on Pittman soft.

Seemed like it, man. He just seemed frustrated about the fact that, look, we haven't been able to work on it. And this is a player new to the team. And you know how Aaron Rodgers gets with like, if he can rely on you.

So I think this might be the first mock draft I kick those to my final 2 picks and I'm going to take, I'm going to go back to back to back rookies. I'm taking Chris Bell, wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, who I want to draw attention to in this final mock draft.

So just, I have one more pick after this. I am going to do the thing of, look, some of you, I have my priors. I still believe in them. But sometimes you got to be like, maybe I'm, I'm not locked in completely on the situation. So I'm going to take Chris Rodriguez.

I figured he would go for sure. So in the event, maybe I'm wrong about Tuten. Like you got to be willing to, to do those things. And then with a 10th round pick, that's very low investment.

Yeah. I think you, you have to be open. I love that the way you describe it. You've got your priors and you've got your opinions, but you recognize that there's not 100% hit rate on our, on anyone's opinions. So the situation to potentially get the, you know, the more valuable back in Chris Rodriguez in the top of the rounds.

I don't think it will be, but it definitely could be.

I think at this point in a draft, Getting the wide receiver 2 for a really great offense who they, they did pay a significant amount of money to is a, is a good value. So now I'm sitting here looking, I'm going to take one running back, one wide receiver. I'm looking for just potential wacky high upside. Like there's Tyler Allgeier there. Maybe you've got a week 1 starter, but I think as the season goes on, he gets less and less valuable. So I'm at wide receiver. I'm between Michael Pittman and Caleb Douglas. You know, the shot of the rookie wide receiver for the Dolphins or the vet. I'm going to go with the data. Caleb Douglas not being a first-round wide receiver. Also the Dolphins not being a great offense franchise in 2026. I'll take Michael Pittman, put a veteran on, on my team.

There is an absolute world where everybody's an idiot on not taking Jeremiah Love in the top 8 picks of this draft within 3 weeks of the season. I think that's an actual possibility.

The Cardinals are going to throw the ball to their running back all the time. We're going to be down by a million points. And this dude just 6 yards every time he touches the football. If he's healthy, you know, Conner's not healthy. Allgeier has not been a problem for Bijan being a top 5 back. And I think Love is maybe a better talent than Bijan is. I mean, you talked about the preseason scouting coming into the league. Jeremiah Love, you know, Mike, you've said it. He came in as a better prospect.

Yeah. He's my favorite prospect in the recent history.

Yeah, I think it's— just remember how fast the NFL changes. We highlighted it when we did our mock draft offense show where you go from top 10 offense to bottom offense. So you can be the worst team in football and have a pretty productive offense. I thought the Cardinals would do it.
