Like, you ever rotate endgame, 30 moving alive, Surge taking you, you need 100 damage or you're gone, and you have $100,000 on the line to win this game? No, you've never done that.

00:00:08

I'm ready to bet, ready to flex.

00:00:10

Deion is at, you see where he's at.

00:00:12

Come tune in, we on stream with the chat. You could Michael Parsons, get you a sack. Double my coverage, Deion Sanders, bet like a rookie. He'll be yelling, cook you a lockup. Eat it for dinner, we double coverage and this is the anthem. What's up guys, Mystic Zack here. Welcome back to episode 23 of Double Coverage. Today I'm joined by sports, but esports.

00:00:32

Mm-hmm.

00:00:32

My main man, Clix.

00:00:34

Great to meet you.

00:00:35

Gamer, livestreamer, now entrepreneur.

00:00:38

Thank you for having me, dude.

00:00:39

Thank you. You're our first esports streamer. That's still sports.

00:00:43

That's right. I'm very athletic. They used to call me like the most athletic streamer other than Ash0speed. Did they? No, no, no, they didn't. I made that up.

00:00:50

Yeah. So you're not into any other sports? You're not?

00:00:52

Well, I'm a big basketball player. Like, I play a lot of basketball. Like, all right, for real, I'm the best basketball Fortnite player.

00:00:58

The best basketball Fortnite. Okay, so you'd beat Peterbot and stuff.

00:01:01

Oh, would I? Would I? I robbed Peterbot for 6,000.

00:01:04

That's not a very high standard.

00:01:06

No, it's not.

00:01:06

The best— what about you versus Lacey if he had two knees?

00:01:09

Okay, so this isn't even controversial, right? He 6-0'd me the other day. But, but—

00:01:14

in a wheelchair?

00:01:15

No, no, no, before the ACL, before, like a month ago. But it was just all three-pointers and it was his possession and he was just shooting. I was like, let him shoot. He could shoot. So, but before that, I would smoke him.

00:01:26

All right. All right. So a low bar, but, but out of the Fortnite players, you're up there.

00:01:31

You know, Faxity is— he's another Fortnite streamer. It was me and him versus Marlon and Lacey.

00:01:36

You guys won?

00:01:38

$2,500 each.

00:01:39

Wow. All right. Congratulations.

00:01:41

Thank you, bro.

00:01:41

They should have had you at the Fnatic games.

00:01:43

They actually want— bro, they invited me to go. Wait, isn't there something this Thursday?

00:01:49

It was this past weekend. Is there another thing this week?

00:01:51

I don't know. I got invited to something. Yeah, I had Fortnite tournaments.

00:01:54

Yeah, you could have competed against Bieber and everyone. Really?

00:01:56

Really?

00:01:56

Yeah.

00:01:57

Oh, Bieber's good though.

00:01:59

Bieber's on fire for sure. Um, so we're here in Dallas. Tomorrow you've got two events going on. It seems like a packed out schedule. You've got a tournament of some kind, right? Explain that real quick.

00:02:10

So my own tournament, it's like a game mode in Fortnite. It's called Pro League Endgame. It's 32 players, last one alive wins. So we have 8 pros, then 24 people that grinded to get to play against the pros. So that's tomorrow for $5,000 for Europe and North America.

00:02:27

Beautiful. And then later on in the day, Make-A-Wish, right?

00:02:30

Earlier on in the day.

00:02:30

Earlier on in the day, rather.

00:02:31

Make-A-Wish with Good Good and Topgolf, and we're doing it with Garrett Clark. You know who Garrett Clark is? I do. Topgolf GOAT, or, uh, golf GOAT.

00:02:38

Golf GOAT.

00:02:39

Golf entertaining Good Good GOAT.

00:02:40

I don't think you'll beat him.

00:02:42

Are you serious?

00:02:43

I think I got Garrett.

00:02:45

You want to lock money? I will lock money that I beat Garrett. Have you seen my golf form?

00:02:49

I have not.

00:02:50

I posted on my story. It's a— I don't have my phone on me. It's a good form.

00:02:53

All right, I'll show you my form.

00:02:55

I actually— I was golfing with Kai Trump and she taught me all the lessons and every single thing. I'm, I'm teched out.

00:03:00

That's a fire coach. Yeah, you can't do better than that.

00:03:02

I'm teched out.

00:03:04

So, um, no, but I also— you've done a lot of charity work, a lot of philanthropy work. How important is it for you to give back?

00:03:09

Dude, that's like ever since I started when I was 13. I started 8 years ago. Success to me looked like, okay, win Fortnite tournaments, stream, pull viewers, make money. But as I got older, now I'm 21, it's like, okay, I want to see other people succeed because purely of me giving them a chance, access to a career. So I give away computers. That's my thing. I give away gaming computers. Kids run up to me, yo, give me a Clix, give me a PC. And that's my favorite thing is literally to give away PCs. There's a professional player in Fortnite right now, purely because of the fact that he beat me in a 1v1 and I gave him like a jacked-out gaming computer. And now he competes against me every single day.

00:03:48

That's awesome.

00:03:48

So that's like the dream. That's what I want to do all the time.

00:03:51

I love it. So you just said you started at 13. How does someone start at 13 years old? Because it sounds crazy. In any other profession, you can't start at 13.

00:03:58

That's right.

00:03:58

How did you start at 13?

00:04:00

Did you watch the Fortnite World Cup a long time ago?

00:04:03

I did.

00:04:03

When Bugha won?

00:04:04

Yes.

00:04:05

Okay, so I'll go all the way back when I was 5 years old. I was playing Call of Duty. I was sneaking in my brother's room every single day trying to like play, 'cause I'm 5 years old and he would always play. And as time got on, I kept on playing. I played Minecraft, Counter-Strike, and Fortnite came out when I was, I think, either 13 or 12. Let's just say 12. And I was begging my dad for a computer 'cause I don't have one. My brother has one, I wanna play. And he got me a computer, but he said, "You have to pay me back this summer." "Or you have to work for me for the whole year." And I said, "All right, I'll pay you back." I paid him back in 2 weeks. It was like $1,600. I don't know. It was $1,300 or $1,600, purely off of wagering people for money. It's not allowed now, but back then you could 1v1 for like $50 if we 1v1. So I paid him back in 2 weeks. And then I think it was like 6 months later or 8 months later, I qualified for the World Cup the most out of anyone, which was, I believe, 5 times or 6 times, around there., and I won $170 grand.

00:04:59

It was the craziest experience of my life. Obviously, Bugha won like $3 million, but you're 13 at this point? Yeah, I was 13 at this point. I dropped out of school, dropped out of middle school, dude.

00:05:08

You dropped out of school in middle school?

00:05:09

Yeah, a lot of people look at me, most stupidest kid ever. It was very stupid.

00:05:13

Did you ever get like your degree, or are you still like doing like— were you like homeschooled? How does that—

00:05:18

no, dude, that's, that's the craziest part. I dropped out when I was 13. I switched to online school, but you know, like online school. I didn't do anything. I just played Fortnite every single day. So my last year was 8th grade, and then I never touched school again. Never went to high school. Just play.

00:05:32

You have a middle school education?

00:05:35

Yeah.

00:05:35

Yeah.

00:05:35

Hell yeah.

00:05:36

We're getting here.

00:05:38

That's right. That's right.

00:05:39

That's crazy.

00:05:40

Education wasn't my thing, to be honest. Like, I, I don't like the math stuff and the science and the history. I really just—

00:05:45

you only got to 8th grade? You didn't even get to the hard stuff?

00:05:48

Well, bro, multiplication? You serious?

00:05:51

Division? I was in like algebra or something, bro.

00:05:54

I don't know any of that stuff. But I'm actually good at math.

00:05:58

Alright.

00:05:58

12's table, I could get you on that.

00:06:01

There you go, so dropped out of 8th grade, you made $170 grand at 13 years old, and then are the views like just multiplying as you're winning these tournaments?

00:06:09

Yeah, that's a good question. Ever since I qual'd for the World Cup that many times, I started playing with a duo at the same time called Skeptic. Do you remember the blue-haired kid he killed? Yep. I was duo'd with him and he was like very popular for killing Tfue and stuff. And I— people say I carried him. So that's kind of how viewers started coming to my stream. And dude, it just started rampaging up. Literally, I think I started averaging 20,000 viewers concurrent on Twitch. And every single tournament just kept on getting bigger and bigger and bigger. And I kept on winning more and more and more. None of like the— I didn't win World Cup. But the smaller tournaments, the FNCS Weeks and this, that, and third, I was winning. And people just started watching me. And everyone used to think that I cheated. By macroing? It's really— it gets deep. The lore gets deep, but basically it means you could steal a wall faster. I'm trying to explain it. Yeah, yeah.

00:06:58

No, no, no, no, that's good.

00:07:00

That was good? Okay. So everyone just started watching me, Tfue and all them. That's how it really took off.

00:07:05

What percent would you say you attribute towards your gaming skills, and what percent would you say you attribute towards your personality in terms of getting views? Which one's played a bigger role? Ooh.

00:07:18

So to get viewers in, it's the gameplay, because they want to watch— you're the best Fortnite player in the world, they want to watch that. But to keep them hanging, that's personality. To build a community that we have 8 years later with the same people watching, even new people, younger people, older people, that's the personality. And I feel like as I got older and as I— I used to be the biggest shit talker, dude. There's clips of me saying crazy shit to Ninja, Tfue, Myth. It was pretty bad, but that was my personality as a kid. I'm still toxic, but back then I was really toxic. And you got all those toxic kids that watched me and loved the personality, and that's how I built the community.

00:07:53

So you're a local guy here in Dallas?

00:07:55

Yep, had to move here when I was— let's, let's go back a second. Moved out of Connecticut. I was born in Connecticut. When I was 16, to New Jersey. We got a mansion with all my homies, rented out, um, with a bunch of Fortnite players, best friends, and it was insane. Just like that, Fortnite announced that they are now switching the servers from East Coast, where you have to live in East Coast, to Central, which is the hub is Dallas, Texas. So if you want to compete at that top level, you need to live in Dallas.

00:08:23

Wow. Yeah, that's crazy. It's the most— you're still competing at the top level 8 years later?

00:08:29

Yep, we just won FNCS. Me and Lacy won the Pro-Am, uh, 2 weeks or Week and a half ago. Yeah.

00:08:36

What were the qualifications to get into like that Pro-Am?

00:08:39

That Pro-Am is a little bit different, but let's take the top 4-night championship, which is called FNCS.

00:08:45

Yeah.

00:08:46

That is out of probably 250,000 people trying to get in, only 50 teams make it. And we made it.

00:08:54

It's not based on clout, it's based on—

00:08:56

no, nothing's clout. Nothing's based on clout in this game. It's purely about skill, qualifiers, this, that, and the third. So there's like divisions that you need to get to the top division, then you need to get top 120 or something, 150, and then it keeps on going down until the 50 teams.

00:09:11

Where do your skills rank amongst the best Fortnite players?

00:09:14

Oh, I don't know, bro.

00:09:18

In America, in America, yeah, like, like we're always arguing like who's the best basketball player in the world, who's the best, who are the best quarterbacks, like Like, I guess in America.

00:09:28

OK. Right now, I have like $850,000 earned in just the game. I would say we're top 10. We're top 10 in America. Europe's like a whole different— we only play once a year against each other at like LANs. But for NA, I'd say top 10.

00:09:44

And has it gotten harder to be at that top 10 level as the years have gone on, as you've got more and more stuff, as you're getting more entrepreneurial?

00:09:51

It's hard. It is hard to compete against kids. For example, like Peter, it's always, it's always Clix versus Peter. It's, he greets me when I'm doing good. It's like, it's terrible. Peter, I'm using Peter as an example because he's one of the best gamers in the world.

00:10:06

But he looks like he kind of just only plays the game.

00:10:10

What are you trying to say right now?

00:10:11

He kind of looks like he's like, he's kind of more like stereotypical. Yeah. Like what we picture, like drinking Red Bull in the basement, just like grinding the game out.

00:10:21

So he, yeah, he is a gamer at heart.

00:10:21

Like if I just looked at you two, I, I would, I would, I would pick him. He just looks like he only—

00:10:28

dude, yes. No, he does only play Fortnite. Like, he wakes up, plays Fortnite.

00:10:33

You look like you go outside more.

00:10:34

Thank you, bro. Oh, I still play minimum 8 hours a day no matter what. But he's— yeah, he's up there. He's really up there.

00:10:42

Yeah. So how many hours is he playing? Like 16?

00:10:45

Well, right now he's on his like kind of like— it's weird. Right now he's probably playing 15 hours. I don't know, maybe. I think it's— I don't know his schedule. Like, sometimes he's like lazy as shit, you know, that only plays like 6 hours, and sometimes he's like 15. That's crazy. But our major, our major is in 2 weeks, so I think he's getting ready.

00:11:06

Oh my God, that's crazy. Yeah, 15 hours of gaming.

00:11:09

I mean, dude, that's how it is over here too. Yeah, I'm playing minimum right now at least 12 hours a day.

00:11:16

Yeah, how do you like So there's like different buckets in which you contribute your time to. There's health, there's wealth, there's family, there's friends. How do you balance that playing that much Fortnite?

00:11:26

Dude, it's hard. It's hard. I have a girlfriend too, of 2 years. She's, she's beautiful. She's amazing. But we're long distance, so that helps that part especially. Yeah, because it's like we're seeing each other once every 2 weeks, and that, that time is— I'm not streaming, not playing the game. It's like, it's our time, right? And the second she goes home in Arkansas, I'm locked in dials and I don't need to focus on anything. I just focus on the craft. And she's in law school, so she's just as busy, which is helpful. But family stuff is hard because they live in Connecticut.

00:11:55

What a funny couple. The 8th grade dropout and the lawyer.

00:11:58

Yes, sir. Yes, sir. No, she is— dude, she is a genius, bro. But that's why it works.

00:12:03

You know, you have to have opposites attract, right?

00:12:05

I mean, I'm not— I'm not smart when it comes to school smart, but the industry, like, I feel like I have good knowledge about, like, all the industry. But she— dude, she's the smartest person in the world when it comes to anything school, anything like life, dude. She's, she's a genius.

00:12:18

Wow, I like that pairing. Yeah, I have a friend like that whose fiancée is a lawyer. What's up guys, Mystic Zack here, aka your host of Double Coverage, aka the biggest sports fan in the world. There's no company that lets you rep sports better than Fathead. They've got you covered when it comes to the NFL, the NBA, the MLB, the NHL, college sports. They allow you to rep your favorite team whether you're Bills Mafia, Raider Nation, or my favorite team, Cowboys Nation. Growing up, I had a Dez Bryant Fathead that sat above my wall every single day. And Fathead, I can personally say, is one of my favorite companies out there. And if you're a true sports fan like me, you'll love their product. Go to fathead.com, show us love, tell them Mystic Zack sent you, please. fathead.com. I support this product and I personally endorse their stuff because I love it. Okay. I was wondering about the balance and I was wondering how you stayed competitive in this landscape year after year after year.

00:13:11

Mm-hmm.

00:13:12

It's— esports is a different feeling than any other sport because I feel like you kind of peak at such a young age. What age are the typically the best players in Fortnite?

00:13:26

So there has not been more than 5 people that have played at a top level of Fortnite for this long, for 8 years. Most players, they have their 2 to 4 years in there, they fall, they fall down. So like for me, for example, I want to change that. Like I'm 21 and I'm still competing at the top level where I was when I was 13, 14, 15, so on and so forth. They say 18 to 20, like that's kind of your prime. But I'm 21 and I'm in my— I think people watch me, I'm in my prime right now. Like I'm the best I've ever been, purely, I think, because of my confidence that I have right now. But I'm going to change that. Like, I want to play when I'm like— until I'm ass. So hopefully by 25.

00:14:07

So are you one of the older players in these?

00:14:10

Nah.

00:14:11

FNCS?

00:14:12

And yeah, yeah, I like Peter. Peter's, I think, 19. I'm like 2 years older than him and all the other top pros. They're like around 19. So I'm— yeah, I'm a little older.

00:14:23

So the prime, they say, is 18 to 20. Yeah, there's no other sport like that.

00:14:27

There isn't. And dude, Fortnite and like competitive video games, a lot of people joke on it, but no, like, it, it is a top thing. Like, I would compare that to sports. Like, I really, I really would. I know it's not— you're smiling, bro. I know you are.

00:14:40

No, no, I, I, I, I brought it up as a sport.

00:14:42

Yeah, no, it, it really is.

00:14:43

Of course, his reaction— I'm a gamer, so I understand, right?

00:14:46

But mentally, like, dude, no one's going to— people want to look at me and smile until they watch a Fortnite endgame where you have to do a million decisions at once. Like, it's, it's fun to watch, bro. Like, I really recommend you watching one of these tournaments, dude. It's, it's a lot of fun. It's really hard.

00:15:01

You know, I've kept up in the scene. Obviously I played way more. I mean, I think a lot of people my age, when 27 to 28— yeah, yeah. Um, haven't like kept up last couple of years, but yeah, still aware of the landscape. I mean, the games that it takes. I was a gamer. I was like doing competitive games, trying to hustle too. So same thing. Yeah, just different games.

00:15:19

Um, the amount of practice— like, we have a coach— which people are gonna laugh at, like we literally have a Fortnite coach there.

00:15:23

You have a coach?

00:15:24

I have a mental coach, breathing coach, and Fortnite coach.

00:15:28

How does someone coach you in Fortnite?

00:15:31

Because they see stuff that I don't see. Like, I— think about this real quick. I'm in the game. I'm thinking about what's in front of my face. My coach, he's looking at the map, planting out literally a million possible zones that could happen, thinking about what best rotate of all the teams landing around us, of what timing they're on. And telling us, I think you should do this. No, no, you have to go now. Like, just helping on the stuff that we're not doing, if that makes sense. And then we have a mental coach who's much more than mental. He's like breathing every single thing. His name is Poppy. He's a great dude. He's like 40 and his pure thing is helping, like, helping us mentally. It's— dude, he only works with gamers, only the top of the top gamers, like, and he's, he's won multiple. He's helped people win every single global championship is literally because of him. Because the amount of time you're in endgame—

00:16:20

so are you like bringing him to the tournaments?

00:16:22

Yeah, he's there.

00:16:23

Yep. Is he allowed to like assist you while you're playing, or it's like, uh, like halftime?

00:16:27

Like, he notices like, yo, like, you're not right. Like, I'll just go run a mile, and the second I'm back, like, I feel insane. Like, literally, like, he just notices stuff about a person that like I don't notice about myself. It's like, we were Grand Finals, we got second place in FNCS. There was one game where like I just wasn't I wasn't playing right, and he watched the VOD back and he noticed I was breathing completely incorrect, like breathing wrong in certain circumstances. So I started breathing right and I was great, and then we did really good.

00:16:55

When did you— did you always have a Fortnite coach?

00:16:57

Yeah, past 7 years.

00:17:00

But the breathing coach has to be new.

00:17:01

No, 7. Yeah.

00:17:02

You've had a breathing— he's been your breathing coach since you were 14?

00:17:05

15, 15, 16.

00:17:06

Yeah. Were you the first person to do this?

00:17:09

Yeah. I actually do think I— because everyone knows about him now, but he was with me OG days, dude. Yeah, but it's— a lot of people want to laugh, bro, but once you understand how real it is, dude, and how actually difficult it is, it's, it's so advanced, bro. It really is.

00:17:25

I was in training camps with Jake Paul, boxing. It's totally different, but he is— he's a breathing coach. Yeah, same. This guy Lucas Mack, that's all they do is the mental work, the breath work.

00:17:35

He visualizes everything because a lot of people, they watch but they don't actually understand what goes into it, of how to get to that point of—

00:17:41

Yeah, but I'm gonna be honest with you, I did not think of that for Fortnite.

00:17:44

And I wanna make it more mainstream. I want people to know it's like, yo, this is not like you hop on, oh, we play video games for a living. Like, no, dude, like you are playing the top of the top of the number one game in the world. Obviously, that's gonna be controversial, but like Fortnite, everyone knows Fortnite, you know what I'm saying? So it's fun, dude, it's so much fun.

00:18:01

Do you gotta be careful in the real world to like avoid an injury?

00:18:05

No, I play basketball.

00:18:06

Okay, but what happens if you sprain your finger?

00:18:09

I don't go for rebounds against someone who's 6'5". Yeah, it's like I play my— like when I run, I ran back-to-back marathons. Like, I want to be athletic, but if I'm going to break my finger, then God willing, it's going to happen regardless of if I am doing— playing basketball.

00:18:24

That's not in your head while you're playing basketball. I'm just thinking about like—

00:18:26

No, it shouldn't be, bro. Imagine I'm playing basketball, dude. Imagine I sprain my finger right now. It's going to happen.

00:18:30

You have the coach and you have the like It's a lot of invested in your skills. I'd be Fortnite pro, I'd be done. Yeah, also I didn't realize how high of a level you were still playing at this point. I figured you had transitioned from just timing-wise that you would have had to have gone to more of a just like live streaming route, but yeah, you're still killing it in the pro game. That's no dude, 8 years in.

00:18:51

I'm addicted, bro. I'm so passionate when it comes to Fortnite gaming, like all this, bro. It's, it's so much fun and the game's killing it, bro. We're During tournaments, we have like 20,000 to 30,000 like concurrent viewers in like the mini tournaments. In grand finals, there's over like 100,000 people just watching my point of view of all like the clicksters in the community. Like, it's, it's massive, bro. It really is massive. You wanna know what else is massive?

00:19:15

What else?

00:19:15

I can't, I can't do it, bro.

00:19:18

Um, but you're also kind of taking a, for lack of a term, MrBeast approach, and you're expanding upon not just the gaming, but you're trying to do a lot of different things. Talk to me about this product right here, TapCap.

00:19:30

Yeah.

00:19:31

You and Lacey, another massive live streamer, launched this product. We saw the advertisements. It was a big time launch. You guys have had a lot of sales, right?

00:19:38

Mm-hmm, we had a lot.

00:19:39

Talk to me about why you made this product and kind of what the reaction's been.

00:19:42

So let's go way back. Do you know how Lacey started?

00:19:45

I think he was donating to your streams and—

00:19:48

Okay, you're tapped in, bro. Yeah. Dude, he was a Clix hater. He would donate to my streams over $1,000. Hating on me, saying the most wild shit ever. Next thing you know, I believed in him. I moved him to Dallas and he started taking off. Obviously, like, bro, it was insane. Like, you'll see these clips. He had the craziest glow up, but he wanted to do IRL. So I was thinking, I was like, how could we do something together? Because that's my best friend. I love Lacey. How could we do something together that involves gaming but also IRL streaming aspect where it's like his community will like, my community will like. So we thought of Tap Caps. So we thought of Tap Caps, a collectible, a collectible fidget toy that you could take off and you could slap on your keyboard as a keycap, but you could collect it. Like, for example, this is Anti-Slime. There's a Tap Cap that— there's over 12 Tap Caps, over more than sold for $1,000 just off the rarity, and it costs $12. We're sold out. So that's probably why, but here, rip one open. You'll see, yeah, you'll see that thing you'll pull off.

00:20:54

Was there any other products, like influencer products that inspired you to, oh, that's actually pretty easy. I'm usually pretty bad at that.

00:20:59

Yeah, yeah, it is easy.

00:21:01

So reminds me a bit, I'm not trying to draw, but you guys are obviously gamers, so that's kind of your field. Like when Logan and KSI did their Prime, right? That they're athletes, they want a hydration drink. This seems like a similar.

00:21:11

But nobody has done something like this before, so, No, I would have never thought this in a million years. You didn't get a good one. You got a core one, but you got Glo— you got Glo Bones. But if people get a rare one—

00:21:22

you got the Dallas, you can't even get me a rare one?

00:21:24

I don't rig it, bro. I can't just get whatever is in this. I do not know. But if you got a rare one, you wouldn't do what you're doing right now.

00:21:30

Oh, I— you like— so you save it if you—

00:21:33

yeah, it loses its value if you open it.

00:21:34

So it's like a, like a playing card almost, like, basically.

00:21:37

Yes, basically.

00:21:38

So there's 12 that have sold for over $1,000. Are those like one of ones?

00:21:42

No, bro, every one and every like 100.

00:21:45

Cool though.

00:21:46

Yeah, and here, tap it while I break mine open, dude. Yes, here, it's happening next to the mic. Like, really tap, like tap off. No, like, let me see it, bro.

00:21:58

You're the tapper. Like, so this is like a fidget toy, like, bro, it is for ADHD.

00:22:05

It's addicting. Like, and I wish we had a keyboard here.

00:22:08

I have ADHD, so.

00:22:10

Well, I'm gonna get you another one then. You pull this off and put this to the side. You pull off your keycap on your keyboard and then they, boom, you could put a photo up. It looks really sick. And we have—

00:22:20

Do you have that on your keyboard?

00:22:21

Yep, yep. And we have a lot of drops with a lot of, like, I wish I could say on this, but dude, so many sick brands and games and people. It's gonna be so sick. All right, let's see what I get. 3. 2, 1.

00:22:38

What'd I get? You got a blue.

00:22:41

Oh, it's a rare one. This is a rare one. Not, not that ultra rare, but this is Ghost. So this is one of my favorite— this is one of our favorite ones.

00:22:50

So out— if you open up 100 of these, how many Ghosts do you think you're gonna get?

00:22:54

Probably 5. Okay, well, if you— well, if you open 100, you're probably not gonna get the rare one. Like, I have never authentically open the rare one, if that makes sense. Like, I've just— I asked, I made sure to get a rare one, but I never actually opened one. But a lot of people have, and it's crazy, dude. But yeah, this one's my favorite.

00:23:12

How do you guys— have you guys dropped like one-of-ones?

00:23:15

No, nope. We dropped— yeah, no.

00:23:18

Would you do that, like a golden ticket one-of-one?

00:23:21

I don't know, bro. Every drop that— Grateful.ly, dude, every single drop that we dropped sold out super quick, dude. And we actually made ourselves an XL one where it looks like a bear brick, like it's big, but that's for like Lacey and I and like people that are just like friends. And everyone's like, yo, you need to drop it because it's sick, dude. It's really sick. But here, I'll give this one to you. You give it to whoever, bro. It's really sick, bro. You put on your keyboard.

00:23:44

No, I'm definitely gonna—

00:23:45

if you have a keyboard, it might be better for someone who's a gamer. No, no, no, that's, that's the beautiful thing though. It's not purely for gamers. Like, I tap Lacey off all the time with that. Why are you laughing, bro?

00:23:58

You tap him off all the time?

00:23:59

Yeah, like, you're tapping off, like, right now you're tapping off.

00:24:02

I'm tapping myself off.

00:24:04

Yes, exactly. If you want me to help you, I could.

00:24:07

Yeah, that's what I'm trying—

00:24:08

yeah, all right, my bad.

00:24:10

Were there any products, like, growing up that inspired you? Because I remember, for me, I'm a little bit older than you, we had Kooky Pens, we had Silly Bands. How old? I'm 24.

00:24:19

Okay.

00:24:19

I'm only 3 years older than you. Yeah, but I'm '02. So Kooky Pens were like a big deal. Do you remember Kooky Pens?

00:24:24

I remember the silly bands.

00:24:25

You click them in and it was, it was like analogous to this, honestly. We'd collect different ones. They had rare ones. They had like drip or whatever. If you had a rare one, you'd like sell it on the schoolyard. Yeah, those were cool. And then silly bands, of course. Yeah. Like Rainbow Loom.

00:24:41

I know. No, I know silly bands. That was addicting. I used to do that, but it's basically very similar. I don't know if Silly Bands had rarity, but—

00:24:48

but they didn't have the use case like this where you could exactly put it on your key, you know what I mean? This is a 2-in-1. Yeah. Where the pen— I mean, the pen you wrote with, but it wasn't like, you know, right, right. So when did you first get the idea for this product?

00:25:00

Dude, 2 and a half years ago.

00:25:02

Oh wow.

00:25:02

Yeah, a long time ago before this. We launched less than a year ago, 8 months ago, 7 months ago. But yeah, we've been building, like, building the team, building the structure for it. It's like all the money that we're making, it just goes right back into the company for future drops, and we have a lot of shit cooking, dude. We're going to be— yeah, I'll say we're going to be in stores soon, very soon, which is the dream and the goal, bro, of like you go to like local this, that, and the third, and you can just cop yourself Tap Caps. So that's going to be super exciting.

00:25:29

What stores you targeting?

00:25:31

I— you— I don't know, nothing's locked in yet. Well, there is locked in, but all the main stores. I'm excited.

00:25:36

Okay, that, that would be awesome. Who— what's the typical age of a Clix fan? I wanted to get— I wanted to hear it from you.

00:25:45

Okay, so during the meet and greets that I have, you'll probably see there's— dude, there's— it's variety, honestly. Used to be— I'll be honest, used to be like majority just kids. But my YouTube fan base and the YouTube Clixsters, they're, they're younger because I cut out every cuss word and so on and so forth. So that's like, I would say, 10 to 20 5-ish, but my streaming is like the, the age that it shows is 16 to like 35, which is like obviously better than YouTube, but it's like nothing's better, it's just a different type of audience. Like Twitch, like I say whatever I want. Yeah, like there's no, there's no hold back, you know. It's like, it's toxic, bro. Fortnite gets toxic. So it's more of an older audience, and a lot of the community, they've, they've grown with me. Like as I age, they also age. Like when I was 13 playing World Cup, they were also 14 or 13. And now we're 21 and they're in college, we're all— they're working, they're doing whatever, and they're still watching and coming in. So that's, that's the beautiful thing about Twitch streaming.

00:26:41

Okay, Gen Z, Gen Alpha.

00:26:43

Yep. Okay, whatever that means.

00:26:45

Yeah, like the, you know, the Alpha, Gen Alpha. Yeah, that's like the newer one, the 10-year-olds.

00:26:49

Oh, that's— yeah, wow, beautiful.

00:26:51

I got to learn this terminology.

00:26:52

Yeah, I do.

00:26:53

You got to use it one day.

00:26:53

I did not know that.

00:26:54

Yeah, so the 10-year-olds are Gen Alpha. But no, like consumer habits, you got to study all this, right? Like, so if If you're a major store and you want to, you want to have a product that, you know, Gen Z, Gen Alpha is going to consume and actually buy. I mean, this is definitely one of them.

00:27:09

Thank you, bro.

00:27:10

Thank you.

00:27:10

Yeah, I think, you know, Mike— which Mike? Logan Paul's Mike.

00:27:14

Oh yeah, yeah. Big Mike.

00:27:15

He invested. He invested.

00:27:17

Okay. I've known Mike since I was 16 years old, dude.

00:27:19

I like him a lot, bro. But he loves Tap Caps. He's an investor. We have a lot of other GOATs that are investors.

00:27:23

All right. Maybe I could do an opening with Mike. I just saw him at Fanatics.

00:27:27

Yeah, you should troll him. And just if you just pull up, He'll be like, yo, he's— dude, he's— I love, I love Mike.

00:27:32

All right, I love it. He's the oldest Clix fan there is then.

00:27:35

Well, I don't think he necessarily is a Clix fan. I think he's more of a Lacey fan, but, but sure, the oldest. Yeah, there's some old bro, there's some old Clix fans.

00:27:44

I'll tell you that, as I've like— people ask me what I have coming up and I explain that I'm interviewing you, and like the reactions, like the older people are like, if they have a son or daughter, you know what I mean, they're like, oh wow. But if they don't, though— but then the younger people, it's like the same reaction the older people gave me when I said I was gonna interview Mike Tyson.

00:27:59

Really?

00:28:00

The younger people are like, oh my God, you're interviewing Clix. Like, what?

00:28:03

Really?

00:28:03

Yeah, it's like a crazy reaction. Like, like, you're to the point where it's like in it, unattainable to be in the same room as you. Like, that's kind of the reaction I got. Yeah, it was a crazy, crazy— yeah, more than any other guest we've had, like, from the, the younger people. So I really wanted to ask you from the horse's mouth.

00:28:19

Yeah, sick, dude. Yeah, majority, I would say majority, it's like, yeah, Gen Z. Yeah, but I think—

00:28:24

but you want the youth on your side, obviously. Yeah, that's a superpower.

00:28:26

And I mean, the beautiful thing is, is why I never what you said, like I never switched to doing full-time IRL and I only did it a little bit, was purely because of the fact that everyone has played Fortnite. Everyone has known Fortnite in their life. Like, you played Fortnite.

00:28:39

Yeah, of course.

00:28:40

Your mother played Fortnite. Your mother knows about Fortnite. Your dad knows about Fortnite. Everyone knows about Fortnite or seen it. So if I could attach my name to not only the biggest name or the biggest game and be a top competitor and also streamer, it's like, that's, that's beautiful. And that's what I want to do. And that's what I'm going to stick with. Like, I'm going to be with Fortnite until until the game is dead, because dude, I love the game. I'm authentically passionate about it, and everyone has always played it. So it's like, for example, Madison Beer wanted to play Fortnite. What's the first thing she does? We play with me, me, Ron, you know, Ron. Yeah, the homie Ron. It was me, Ron, and Madison Beer. And dude, we're just playing trios. So it's like any A-list celebrity that's coming to Fortnite, like I did something with Snoop Dogg, dude. It's just like, that's so beautiful because everyone knows about it. And it's like It's a top game.

00:29:27

To me, what exploded the game into the mainstream was when Ninja played with Drake, Travis Scott, Juju, right? If you had a dream squads match, 3 people to play with, any 3 people, probably celebrities, who would it be?

00:29:41

Oh my God, bro, I love Drake. Like, dude, I'm a Drake— I'm not gonna lie, like, yo, his music, I feel some of my bones, bro. Like I love it. Drake, Drake, and Drake.

00:29:55

I'm not gonna lie, just Drake, Drizzy, Aubrey Graham.

00:29:59

Yes, yes, yes. No, literally, I'm not even— yeah, I don't think there's a— uh, yeah, no, just Drake.

00:30:05

Just Drake.

00:30:06

Just Drake.

00:30:07

It's a good list. Yeah, Drake, if you're watching this, yo, no, you can't look at your DMs.

00:30:11

Do not look at your DMs, bro.

00:30:13

They're bad. Oh, has he ever responded? No, he's pretty tapped in. He definitely saw it and chose not to.

00:30:19

No, you think he knows me?

00:30:20

I think I—

00:30:21

You're crazy.

00:30:22

I'm actually 99.9% sure he would know you, yeah.

00:30:25

No.

00:30:25

I think he's more tapped in than you can imagine.

00:30:28

I know, bro. I know. I wish. I saw him once.

00:30:31

'Cause how else would he innovate so much? He's definitely paying attention.

00:30:34

I know he's watched like— he watches streamers a lot, dude.

00:30:37

Um, what else are you doing day to day other than grinding Fortnite? When your girlfriend comes in every other week, you're spending a lot of time with her.

00:30:45

We're trying to, yeah. You're running. Used to. My leg's a little fucked right now.

00:30:49

Oh, all right.

00:30:49

Got a torn meniscus.

00:30:50

So you're working with your breathwork coach, your mental coach, right? That takes— what else is on the agenda?

00:30:56

We're building a lot, bro. We're building a lot when it comes to— I have multiple companies. We have Dreamin, which is my clothing brand that we're extending to a Dreamin Access Fund.

00:31:05

So are you rocking Dreamin right now?

00:31:06

No, this is Abercrombie. Okay. But I usually rock Dreamin. I'm not going to lie. I just— I didn't know if I could self-promote.

00:31:12

No, no, we encourage it.

00:31:13

Okay. I was like, tap caps. Double, triple down.

00:31:16

That's like, let's show a picture of Dreamin' on screen. So what makes your merch different?

00:31:22

Um, it's just like, I wanted to wear what I like, and I couldn't find something that I could wear every single day and like. So I was like, I'm just gonna make my own. I'm just making my own stuff that I like, comfy, and I could just be chill with it. So that was our main thing. And we haven't dropped in like low-key 6 months. We dropped mouse pads. We're like trying new stuff. The mouse pad sold out, did really well. But now we're going in this route of a thing called Dream It Access Fund, where every single Christmas I do a thing called Clicksmas and we give away a lot of money. Last year, I think it was like $250,000 total with every single thing. Brands helping, computers helping, college tuition, Amazon wishlist, all this stuff. And we give away 30 computers to kids. And I want that 30 number to be 300 to 3,000. But computers are expensive. So we're doing this thing called Dreamin' Access Fund where it's like, if you want to donate to the fund, you could, but we're targeting people that could donate to the fund and help fund and make it even bigger than it is and help kids that can't afford a gaming computer for school or for gaming especially.

00:32:24

It's like, help them get them a setup, get them to actually try to compete because Fortnite and esports and video games and streaming is much bigger, especially after what Kai did, than it was ever, bro. And a lot of kids want to tap in, but their parents don't understand the value.

00:32:36

I'm going to make it. I'll make a donation on behalf of Double Coverage. Thank you, bro.

00:32:38

That would—

00:32:38

that would—

00:32:38

you're the homie, bro. Me for that. But every single— all like money that we're gonna make from it, or all money that, um, people want to donate from it, we're going to use straight into making computers, helping people. Amazon Wishlist computer, uh, the price that I get. Yeah, a good, good one you could probably get for $2,000 with the price that I could get. But normally like probably like $3,000. It's a, it's a lot, dude. So I, I personally funded 30 last year. Which was like $90,000, which, bro, I'm not going to lie, like, it's a lot of money. But seeing the reaction of winning, dude, seeing these kids' reactions from winning a computer— like, I've done millions, I've done a lot of videos. It is so priceless and it makes it all worth it. And I want to make that more big. Like, that's success in my eyes. Obviously winning Fortnite tournaments, but seeing other people so happy off of something that takes not that much effort out of me. Now that I have money and now that I can afford stuff like that— as a kid, like, I couldn't. I had to beg my dad.

00:33:34

There's kids out there who are doing the same exact thing that I could help make a career. For example, that professional kid that I told you about, his name is Josh Riley. He's made probably almost $100,000 just off of me giving him a $2,000 PC.

00:33:48

Wow.

00:33:49

You see what I'm saying?

00:33:49

How old is he?

00:33:50

He's 17.

00:33:51

Wow.

00:33:51

But that's 1 out of 50 kids that I, that I gave a computer to. Now imagine I give away 1,000. Take that math. Think of how many kids that aren't succeeding purely because of the fact that their parents don't believe in them. And they can't afford a computer. So that's what the fun's about. And that's the goal.

00:34:07

It's an inaccessible sport relative to other ones because like if you want to play soccer, obviously, you know what I mean? You buy a soccer ball for a couple bucks, basketball, but like this, you need a 3D printer to compete.

00:34:18

Yeah. Yeah. At the top level. Yeah.

00:34:20

Wow.

00:34:20

So I just, I just passionately went into it.

00:34:22

That is golf or tennis, though, you know what I mean? Like those sports, like clubs and rackets and stuff. That gets pricey, right? So You have price. This is a pricey sport.

00:34:29

Yeah, it really is. But that's, that's my goal now is like, I already do this thing every Clixmas, but what if I could do it every single month and have a team on it for the Dreamin' Access Fund side? So we're almost getting ready for that part. So that's really exciting. Um, and then we have Clix Creative, which is an in-game developing studio for Fortnite, and we want to get into more games that develops maps and creates maps. So I have my 1v1 map that Millions of people play, and then I have Pro League Endgame, which is the game mode that I told you about that we have a tournament coming soon that a lot of people play as well.

00:35:02

So there's a lot of like nuances to Fortnite. You have the, right, the same in Roblox, so you just said, you know, the same, the maps, right, people can play. Um, you also have the creative codes, right, where people use like your code.

00:35:13

Oh, that is my bread and butter, dude. I create so many commercials for creator codes.

00:35:18

At your peak, what was your best month in terms of people using your code, and how much did that net you?

00:35:24

Oh man. Uh— I'd say $1.5 million.

00:35:32

$1.5 million from kids purchasing things in the item shop and using your code.

00:35:37

Yeah, and that month was my icon month. It was crazy, bro. That was insane. That was— gratefully blessed by Fortnite for giving me a skin, but the amount of people that supported me, I'm even more blessed by that. So that was crazy.

00:35:50

So your skin did big numbers. Did they report— do they report that to you, like how well it did relative to—

00:35:55

like, nah, but like the apps, they said my Icon skin did the best out of anyone's, like on the Fortnite Tracker app. I don't know how accurate it is, but if you go in game, there's a lot of Click skins.

00:36:05

How happy does that make you if you randomly load up and see a Click skin?

00:36:09

Dude, the fact that I'm even in the game is even more like breathtaking and life-changing, but the fact that I can load in and see other people using it It's, it, bro, it's so crazy.

00:36:17

Do you use yourself?

00:36:18

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:36:19

So you play with yourself?

00:36:20

I touch myself.

00:36:20

You touch yourself, okay.

00:36:21

Yes.

00:36:22

You're a guy, you're playing with yourself.

00:36:24

All the time. And I have a girl version too.

00:36:28

You have a girl version?

00:36:29

That's right.

00:36:29

No, you don't.

00:36:30

I'm the first icon to make a female version of my skin because competitive players, they don't use male skins. 'Cause the hitbox, the hitbox is the same, but the character model is bigger than the female. I copy and pasted my girlfriend and I put her in the game.

00:36:43

Oh, it's your girlfriend, but it's clicks.

00:36:46

It's called Sparks. Wow. If you want to watch the video, you know, I got to watch this.

00:36:51

So only— so competitive players only use female players?

00:36:54

That's crazy. 99% of them. Yeah, there's that 1% that were males, but wow.

00:36:58

Yeah, I didn't— I had no idea.

00:37:00

Well, think about it, you want to be the smallest. Yeah, girls are the females.

00:37:04

Yeah. Wow, that's crazy though. That's good information. So— and I would have never thought that in a mill— I guess I'm not tapped in enough. Yeah, 99% of the players are playing with female skins.

00:37:14

Yeah, dude, it's— bro, I want to get like everyone watching, like they probably don't know me.

00:37:17

I was ahead of my time when I was like— so Fortnite 2017, that was 9 years ago, I was 15, and my dad walked into my room and I was playing with a female skin. He's like, Zach, what the hell are you doing playing as a girl? Really? And I'm like, I don't know, it like— I, I didn't have any rhyme or reason. I was like, it just kind of looks cool. He's like, dude, you probably thought I was like Yeah, no, or like, you know, I'm hiding something. Are there any top competitive players who are women?

00:37:46

Um, there's different divisions. No, there's not a single female player that is competing at our level, I guess, of like the top of top tournaments. But there is a female division where it's only females and they compete and they win a lot of money because it's— they're all in their own, you know I'm saying?

00:38:03

So male and female separated in esports as well, not just—

00:38:06

um, yeah. Well, they could play our tournaments. Yeah, but it's much harder. So they have their own division and it's called like Milk Cup, I think. But it's like different. Yeah, but yeah, no, they're good. They're good though. I'm not gonna lie. Like, I've got really by a couple female pros.

00:38:21

I was wondering the difference in esports compared to like, because obviously we see all this stuff with basketball, football, there's physical limitations. But so I guess there's still a little bit of physical limitations in gaming.

00:38:30

I honestly don't know how. Like, I've— yeah, I don't know how. But yeah, yes, there is, because there hasn't been a single— like reaction speed, maybe, or it might be reaction speed, because I mean, reaction is literally 90% of the game, how fast you react to it, right? So it could be that, it could be. But now there's not a single female pro.

00:38:47

You know, what sport would you say, would you liken it to? Is it maybe like F1 or something? Like, there's just—

00:38:53

for what?

00:38:54

Like, oh, the skills required to be the best Fortnite player.

00:38:58

I would compare it to I think F1, yeah, because I mean, dude, like, your reaction time is everything in the game. If you get lurked on, meaning someone's sneaking on you, bro, you have to react off of the first shot. You don't react to that first shot in that millisecond, you're, you're gone.

00:39:12

Is there any—

00:39:12

you just lost $100,000.

00:39:13

Is there anything you're doing to like work on the attributes that you need to be a top-level player other than playing the game? Yeah, like, are there exercises you're doing to like increase your reaction speed and stuff like that?

00:39:24

Yeah, well, I watch film. There was— I had an issue where I would miss a certain thing after killing someone. Like, I would miss, like, brick. I would miss a certain amount of mats. So the person I tell you about, his name is Poppy, mental coach, everything coach other than Fortnite. He made me do a thing called Where's Waldo? You know Where's Waldo?

00:39:43

Yeah.

00:39:44

I was doing that for no joke. I did that a lot. Finding Waldo was the most exhausting thing ever, but now it seriously has helped because you're training your eyes to find that one thing The second I kill someone, I'm getting all their loot in a millisecond, and I'm not missing a single thing. Obviously, you have your hiccups where like, oh my, how did I just miss that? But dude, it got bad. So I do train that. I train my aim as much as I possibly can. I train my mechanics.

00:40:06

So how do you train your aim mechanics outside of just playing the game?

00:40:09

Kovaaks. You know what Kovaaks is?

00:40:11

Explain that for the audience.

00:40:13

So Kovaaks is an app where it basically is a game, but it's purely for aim. So it's like little red dots, and there's different courses. That you're tracking your mouse speed and you have to hit the red little dots. Really, it's kind of confusing if you're not a gamer, but it's basically an aim training map.

00:40:31

Who's on your Fortnite Mount Rushmore?

00:40:35

Great question, dude. Are we talking about the game in general?

00:40:40

Yeah.

00:40:41

Yeah, okay.

00:40:42

Game in general.

00:40:43

Besides, I would say— oh man, Ninja, 100 million percent. Tfue, 100%.

00:40:56

Bugha, 100%.

00:40:59

And then fourth is whatever the people comment below.

00:41:01

So those— but those three are cemented.

00:41:03

Those three in my head, 100 million percent. Ninja, Tfue, Bugha. Because those are names where Your mom knows, you know? Yeah. That Bugha won the biggest tournament with millions, 100 million people watching. And then fourth is—

00:41:19

What made that tournament so special?

00:41:21

It was the first one with that big of a prize pool, I think, and that anybody could play in. It's not limited to just a certain club or something. Like, you could play if you wanted, you know?

00:41:31

Yeah.

00:41:31

So that's what was beautiful about it. And I won, I won 5 in a row, dude. Like, it was not in a row, but 5 out of the 10 weeks. It was crazy. I was off of something, bro, but everyone was—

00:41:41

what was the winnings for each one of those?

00:41:45

Uh, well, if you, if you call once, you make $50,000, but you can only call once. So I called once in duos and solos, I won $100K, and then you get additional $10-20K for first.

00:41:58

Wow.

00:41:59

I made a million when I was 13 off of just like Fortnite.

00:42:03

Your parents helping you with that?

00:42:04

Oh yeah, bro. Dude, I would be broke if they weren't helping me.

00:42:07

Okay, I didn't spend any of my money, so it was all sitting there in like an account and they were investing it for you and stuff like that.

00:42:14

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Isn't that crazy? Yeah, I didn't do anything. I bought my first car when I was 16. That was my first big purchase. But other than that, it's been all just invested, which is— that's the beautiful thing is about like making a lot of money when I was young is I couldn't really just go out and buy stuff, and I didn't understand the value of money because Fortunately, I've never worked a job where it's like I don't understand the value of money. So if I see this much money in an account, I'm just like, I'm not going to buy it. I'm going to buy it. I'll just upgrade my monitor and buy a $300 monitor, you know what I'm saying?

00:42:42

Yeah. What's been your biggest purchase, though, now that you're 21?

00:42:45

Oh, okay. I just bought a brand new 2025 SF90 Ferrari, and that was— that was $650,000 or something. That was crazy. That was like— I did it because I like to do a thing where I think a lot of other people also do is like you buy something really dumb that costs a lot of money purely for the fact of like, that sounds so messed up, but you get what I'm saying? Like, you know, I think the fact is like, all right, I got to grind. It's like a refreshing where you get motivated because of it, but you're using that motivation like, dude, I just bought a Ferrari. Holy shit. Let's grind harder. Let's keep on going. Let's keep on doing it. Let's keep on building.

00:43:25

You know, that's kind of same ideologies as buying a sick house because you you wake up and you see the house, you're like, I got to work to maintain this.

00:43:31

Exactly, exactly, exactly. So that was the main thing behind that, is like, should I bought that? Better stuff to put my money into, for sure.

00:43:38

Have you wrapped it or anything?

00:43:39

No, it has like a $40,000 paint job. It's like satin gray.

00:43:44

You're not going to do like a Clix wrap?

00:43:45

No, dude. Bro, what?

00:43:49

There's some guys who would do that.

00:43:50

No, that's corny. I like it stealth.

00:43:53

You seen Lil Uzi's car with the anime wrap?

00:43:55

That's corny, bro.

00:43:56

It's pretty cool.

00:43:57

It's cool, but it's just like so out there, like, you know what I'm saying?

00:44:01

You wouldn't do that. So you're keeping it stock with the $40,000 paint job with the wrap?

00:44:06

Yeah, yeah, I'm getting it tuned and stuff.

00:44:08

But yeah, how often do you drive an SF90?

00:44:11

Whenever I want to, dude.

00:44:12

Really? That's like your daily? Uh, did you pull up to here in the SF90?

00:44:17

Okay, I have a Turbo S as well. I bought the Turbo, and then I have a Range, which is my favorite. So they're really cool, but I'm not going to— I hate talking about cars, but, but a lot of sick cars.

00:44:27

But I have, I have 3 cars as well. So we're okay. We're same boat.

00:44:30

Which ones?

00:44:31

I have a Urus.

00:44:33

Tough.

00:44:33

I have a Bentley and then I have a Range Rover.

00:44:36

Oh, what?

00:44:36

I don't drive. A 25.

00:44:39

I love Range Rover, bro. I drive every day.

00:44:42

You drive every day?

00:44:43

The only time I see sunlight is getting breakfast. So I go, I get breakfast every single day.

00:44:48

The only time you see sunlight is getting breakfast? Mm-hmm. You're not exercising?

00:44:52

Oh yeah, I work out and I walk.

00:44:54

But you, you have like a home gym?

00:44:56

Uh, yeah, well, or I go to a gym, but mainly I get breakfast and I go walk. I get breakfast on this like lake and where you get sun, and then I walk for like 2 to 4, and then I get on. 2 to 4 miles, then I get on whenever I want.

00:45:09

Wow.

00:45:10

I usually get on at 2 and get off at 2.

00:45:12

Because you look like you outside, you're not like a You're not what we picture. Really? Well, I was talking to like older— they were like, well, how does this kid look? What is he doing? Eating Doritos, drinking Monster Energy. That's how everyone pictures it.

00:45:21

I don't eat unhealthy at all. Yeah, my—

00:45:23

if your skin's clear, you don't look greasy.

00:45:26

Yeah, dude, I sit inside all day, bro. So I don't eat anything bad. Like, my homie cooks crazy good meals.

00:45:31

Like, have you adapted to that? Like, was it hard in the beginning?

00:45:34

Dude, if you're sitting down, pull up a photo of old Fat Clicks right here, dude. It was— yes, I had a wake-up call for sure. I just do Doritos, grilled cheese every day. Like, no joke, 18 hours a day. Go to bed at 6 in the morning, wake up at 5 PM. Like, I had that moment. Like, that was the come up. But now there's a better come up, and that's having a healthier schedule. But I, I need to wake up late. Like, this is super early for me because our tournaments start at 6, so your reaction time in your brain, they need to be the best at 6 PM.

00:46:02

I was surprised how early this was booked. Oh, I thought I did this personally, dude.

00:46:07

What? I thought you wanted this time.

00:46:08

No, I prefer later. Oh, me too. I like to wake up at this time.

00:46:12

Dude, I like to wake up at noon.

00:46:14

Yeah, I'm like an Atlanta guy.

00:46:15

I wake up at 9:30, dude. You piece of—

00:46:17

Yeah, me too. I woke up at the same time. Okay.

00:46:19

Yeah. No, this is an early thing.

00:46:19

I like to sleep.

00:46:20

I love— Yeah, I sleep 10 hours every day.

00:46:22

Yeah, me too. Okay, glad. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, different goals, but yeah, like I'm—

00:46:26

Sleep is the most healthiest thing you do as a human.

00:46:28

Yeah. Yeah.

00:46:29

I like—

00:46:29

I work out twice a day and then I pass out for 10 hours.

00:46:32

You work out twice a day?

00:46:33

Probably.

00:46:34

I mean, you look jacked, not gonna lie.

00:46:35

I do?

00:46:35

Yeah, you look— your muscles are there.

00:46:37

Thank you.

00:46:37

Yeah, I need to start doing it more.

00:46:39

Yeah, I offered to train Neon, he never took me up. Yeah, if you want to get in the gym, let me know.

00:46:46

Yeah, I'm trying, dude. It's just I get in my head.

00:46:49

You want to know why?

00:46:50

Because I think if I get in the gym, I'm gonna get too jacked.

00:46:53

You're gonna get too jacked? You're gonna look like Ronnie Coleman?

00:46:56

Let me finish, bro. My mouse is 52 grams, right? This is muscles that I'm doing. What if I gain muscles and now it feels different, so my aim's off? You get what I'm saying? No, this is real shit that goes in my head.

00:47:10

That's like a— but like Steph Curry lifts weights. He's not scared about—

00:47:13

yeah, but you never seen him get jack-jacked.

00:47:15

He's pretty jacked.

00:47:16

He's jacked, but he's not jack-jacked.

00:47:17

I mean, you, you have a long ways to go before you're Steph Curry.

00:47:19

Oh, I have a million ways to go before I'm Steph Curry. But he's not like LeBron James. Like, yeah, like LeBron's pretty massive, I'm not gonna lie.

00:47:26

Yeah, but even Giannis gained a bunch. Like, these guys gained 50, £60 of muscle in there, bro.

00:47:30

But they're not top shooters like Steph. Steph is a top shooter.

00:47:33

He's getting a lot of muscles. I'm saying like you, you guys are both top shooters.

00:47:37

Oh, that was kind of hard. I'm not gonna lie. That was hard. We are top shooters. Yeah, but right now I'm in my prime where I'm like not missing anything and I'm—

00:47:44

this might be cope. I think you should lift some more weights.

00:47:47

Yeah, it is cope. I don't want to lift. Yeah, I think I want to be a chud.

00:47:49

Just for health things. Yeah, like 30 minutes a couple, you know what I mean? A few days a week.

00:47:54

No, I'm gonna—

00:47:55

you're not lifting at all?

00:47:56

No, I'm lifting like once, twice, three times maybe a week. I'm walking, I walk a lot.

00:48:00

All right, well hit some push-ups and pull-ups. Yeah.

00:48:03

Yeah, I should.

00:48:04

Just for health.

00:48:05

I do creatine every day.

00:48:06

You creatine every day?

00:48:07

All right, well, how's your mental?

00:48:09

Yeah, how many grams you doing?

00:48:10

Just one scoop.

00:48:11

Oh, I think for the mental effects you need like 3.

00:48:14

Oh God.

00:48:15

Yeah, on God, 3 a day. The cognitive effects, it's like 15 to 20 grams. Yeah, I think I might have just won you the next tournament. I mean, I'm a little jacked.

00:48:25

Yeah, you're a little something there.

00:48:27

You got it.

00:48:28

No, I'm not gonna lift though. If you're here for tomorrow, I'm not.

00:48:30

All right, let's do it.

00:48:30

All right, let's do it, dude.

00:48:31

Before we head out, what's one message you have for all the Double Coverage fans that are tuning in and seeing an interview of yours for the first time?

00:48:39

All the Double Coverage fans, I watch a lot of your podcasts, but please, y'all may look at video game players or esports athletes as cringy or corny, but tap into one tournament and it'll change your life.

00:48:52

There you have it. There we have the one tournament, your life will be changed.

00:48:56

Yo, it's, it's— I'm not even joking, bro. It's like the World Cup, just Fortnite edition. Yeah, literally different, different regions all going at it. It's intense. You get thrills and chills up your veins while you're watching these things, dude. Like, you ever rotate Endgame, 30 moving alive, Surge taking you, you need 100 damage or you're gone and you have $100,000 on the line to win this game? No, you've never done that.

00:49:17

I told a lot of people this interview and they were like really confused. I said esports is a sport.

00:49:23

Mm-hmm.

00:49:24

So you're in the same category as the Mike Tyson's, the Georges St-Pierre's, all the legends that we've interviewed. I'm glad you said it.

00:49:32

I am. Yeah, I am.

00:49:35

This is before we started the interview. You're like, I'm a better athlete than Mike Tyson ever was. I'm like, that's crazy.

00:49:39

I said that. Yeah, you said that.

00:49:41

I'll say it to his face.

00:49:43

I remember saying that. Yeah, I would say that to his face.

00:49:45

Yeah.

00:49:46

Yep. But thank you, dude. Thank you for watching. Hey, slap that like button, subscribe. We'll see you on the next episode 25.

00:49:52

Yes, sir.
