First, realize that you are the absolute average of the data and the people you consume. Too many people think they can hang out with pessimistic, unmotivated friends on the weekend and then magically turn into a visionary CEO on Monday. You cannot. If your circle is constantly complaining about the economy, making excuses, and tearing down success, that energy will seep into your mindset. Whether you are trying to break 6 figures or scale to 8, proximity is power.
