I think it's logical what I don't find are we in my time? If I feel simple where should I do you mine always am I fighting for? Tell me why you lied to me? Fighting

00:02:05

of love raise me up and see my willingness I'm fighting for love raise me up and see my. Waiting for love raise me up I see my worthiness alone.

00:03:04

Yes, yes.

00:03:10

Yes. Hi. Takes a lot out of you to scream that loud. I've already. I've got my season voice. I realize that I have an in season voice and an out of season voice. And it's actually way easier to lose my voice in the summer because it's weathered, it's hardy in the middle of the season. Hi, everyone. Steve Dangle here and welcome to a Saturday night watch along here on the SD PN YouTube channel. Tonight, producer Hayden and I. Hello. Are going to be watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, who are three and one, taking on the New York Rangers. Three oh and one. This is a test for both teams. Make no mistake. Early in the season, obviously, bit of a different story on the west coast. Canucks Flyers, both struggling a little bit to start the season. But one of them will not be struggling quite as hard at the end of the night. Do you see what I'm saying? Do you see what I'm saying? One team has the ability to brush this loss off a little bit. Tonight, the other team gonna be feeling pretty good about themselves. Cause they'll be one of the best teams in the league.

00:04:40

Austin Amino SDP VIP. Hi, Steve. Over. Under 40 goals for Matthews. Like, what is this? By Valentine's Day? Over Drax tv. Eight months of vip. Welcome back. Saturday night, Steve, great to see you. And urban. Oh, Urban Druid. I remember you gifted ten SDPN memberships. So if you're new to this, becoming an SDP VIP is pretty cool. You can do it on Spotify, you can do it on Apple. Or you could do it on this YouTube channel. On this YouTube channel gets you the most benefits for these streams. Specifically because your name is in green. So I'll know you're a member. You get cool emotes. I think we have new ones. Do we have gripper nation in there yet? Do we have Cassie clan in there yet? I know we're working on some. Is the Steve Plushie in there? I think so. But also, you get access to our vip episode every single week. So we do three regular episodes of the Steve Dangle podcast. Usually Monday, Wednesday, Friday. And then the vip goes up, I think Thursday at midnight. That's our fourth episode of the week, and it is ad free if you upgrade to STP VIP.

00:06:06

Ad free. Every episode of the Steve Dangle podcast. Ad free and wonderful Death Eater 91. Hey, Stove. Hello, Voldy. How you doing? Cassie, flip a coin. Steve heads for Leafs, tails for Rangers. What was it? Heads. Sroc. Welcome to SCP VIP. Ali mage zero five. Got two screens going. Kane's on tv. Steve on laptop. Love that. Am I gonna have to do claps at Puck drop this week? We haven't figured out the clock yet. Not yet. That's okay. We can do the clap. Oh, phrasing. And at some point, I think maybe first intermission. We're going on a mission. Our intermission mission. Myself and Justin Fisher, two nerds at SDPN. We are opening upper deck 24 25, series one. And these are hobby box packs. We splurged and bought a hobby box, and we're looking for rookies. What do we got in series one? Logan Stankhoven from Dallas. Lane Hudson from Montreal, Minnesota goalie Jesper Walstadt. A lot of you don't know you're gonna cut her goce a from the ducks, Brad Lambert. And Winnipeg Matt Rempy, who is a New York ranger tonight. And of course, Toronto's Marshall Rafei. Can you feel the heat? Carol Bench.

00:07:52

Welcome to SDP VIP. Paola Bellenhouse gifting ten STPN memberships and a big shout out to Paola because she's finally getting shipped her copy of my book, hockey rants and raves. She lives in Chile, so a lot of, like, Europeans have been asking me. I know Chile is not in Europe. What's the best way to order the book from not North America? And I guess the answer is Amazon, because I don't think Indigo ships overseas. Natalie Drake, who is the artist who drew that leaf down there. Shout out best horse, Chris Lestang. Yeah, I captured a mustang in my latest playthrough of Red Dead redemption, and I named it Chris Lestang. Seemed perfect death Eater. Can we get a Newfoundland book tour date? We looked into it. I don't think we're gonna be able to make that work. But never say never. Girthy Bettman. If Reeves gets Gordy Howe Hattie, I'll let the Leafs win the cup. So you're telling me there's a chance? And Cassie of the Cassie clan gifting 50 SDPN memberships because she's a friggin beauty. If someone gifts you an STP vip membership tonight, thank them. Producer Hayden doing a good job with the existential dread, because where's the stat?

00:09:21

I'm looking for it in the sheet. Oh. The Leafs as a team, do well against the Rangers in recent memory. Individuals against the Rangers do really crap. Matthews only. Only has nine career goals against the Rangers. That ranks in the bottom ten for teams Matthews has played against, and that ranks bottom five for Eastern Conference teams. Marner holds a career plus minus rating of -13 against the Rangers. It's Marner's worst rating against any team in the NHL. You could have given me all day. You could have given me 31 guesses. I wouldn't have got the Rangers. No chance. Leafs and Rangers haven't met in the playoffs since 1971. Rangers won that series four two. How dare they? Jared saying. Please stop saying Berube. His name is pronounced Berubie, according to NHL media release. In pronunciation for coaches, he is in French. All right. Why are you yelling at me? I don't like being yelled at. I'm still gonna say Berubbe. I'm gonna just start calling him Craig. That way, no one's happy. Justin Fisher. Pick a player from each team. If either of them score, I'm dropping gift subs. Okay. So I have Alexi Lafrenier on my fantasy team, and I benched him tonight.

00:10:55

So I'm gonna go with Alexi Lafrenier and for the Leafs. You know what? We need to start a dialog because second game in a row, Max Pacioretti is being scratched, and people are already looking at Nick Robertson as the next guy was going to get strat scratched. So I'm going to say Nick Robertson. Cassie, five gifts per every leaf. Goal tonight. I hope Shasturkin gets let up. Marcus Brady. Hi, Steve. What are you most excited for in Halifax? Fish and chips. I'm a very simple man. I really am. Doesn't take much to please me. Just meaty, delicious, delicious fish and chips. Where's the best fish and chips in Halifax? Because, like, the lower deck does not strike me as, like, it's. It's like a live music bar made of wood. Like, a bar here. Like that. I would expect to serve beer and have, like, snacks that are servable at best. That's what we get out this way. Uh, lower deck is, like, some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Are you a donair guy? I could do donaire. It's harsher on the breath, though, and that's a problem because I'm going to do two book signings in a short period of time.

00:12:31

Gerard says, please don't. Now I'm going to do it harder. Leafs coach Craig Logan. Barube. You say barube a better than some of my family who say it like Berby for some reason. Thank you, Logan. Just Logan. Cassie. You don't need to know. Knock, knock. Who's there? There's a bunch of Rangers fans at this game. I'm not saying that, Hayden. I'm not doing it. Cassie said cargo. Cargo who? Oh, cargo. Vroom.

00:13:46

Did I get it? Did I get it?

00:13:50

Ty Smith. Cassie stealing my bit. Five guess for every Rangers goal. Double a frampy scores. How dare you. Okay. Rempy and Reeves are fighting. That wasn't a question. They're fighting here. Can we get this in a poll? What period are Remp and Reeves fighting in? 1st, 2nd or third? My bet is first. Cassie said no. Owls go. Who cars go. Beep, beep. That's so much better than mine. Natalie said forgot to set fantasy roster. Willie on the bench.

00:14:36

No.

00:14:38

Am I dressing? Did I just. Marner? I just remember. Let me see. I have Marner. I kind of want to pick up stallers. I probably should have. Actually, no. Someone already has them. Oh. I got a bunch of late points from my other guys. That's good. That's good. That's good. Marner is in. I swapped La Frenier out for JT Miller. Man, a bunch of my guys are making me look stupid. Girthy Bettman says mgga make grippers great again. You're horrible, Jamie. James. Sempler. Stemmler. Sorry. Saying double if Rempe scores is the same as a certain employer telling you. Five k per extra round. Hey, that's a deep cut. It's all right. I came out on the right end of that. Jesse Hick Mott. Can't wait to see you in Kitchener. I will be in it. Kitchener on November 14. Death eater. Five gifts from me. If Revo punches someone tonight, is that. Does that include glove on? I hope it does. We're about to get opening face off here in Toronto. Bobby McMahon in the starting lineup for the Leafs with Domi and Nylander. Puck is dropped. Game is underway. Scrum at center ice. And the Leafs come up with it.

00:16:19

Criders abandoned Riley Smith for the Rangers. Kiandra Miller and Adam Fox, that is your Rangers starting lineup. Panarin trocheck. Lafreniere is your second line. Will Cooley, Philip Heedle. Capo Caco is your third. Adam Edstrom, formerly Sam Kerik and Matt Rempe. Braden Schneider with Jacob Truba. Puck is on. Sterkin stops it ruidle with Mancini as your third pair. Here comes the bandage. Out through the neutral zone.

00:16:49

Shot.

00:16:50

That one goes wide. Leafs lineup is identical to last game, so that makes it nice and easy. Tomi can't get a shot through. McMahon comes up with it.

00:17:00

Pass.

00:17:01

Cross ice makes its way back to Domy.

00:17:03

Domi stops up.

00:17:05

Tanf looking for options. Doesn't really find them. Puts it behind the net for Marner, who is sub done.

00:17:12

Sauce pass to Tavares.

00:17:14

Doesn't quite get through as intended. It does get through, but it doesn't hit its target. Tavares looking for options. Oh. Rangers poke it out. 20 gifts. Geez. From the squeezable lemon. And ten gifts from Wes Richard. Mercy.

00:17:34

Bogu.

00:17:35

Rangers put it deep into the leave zone. Almost 90 seconds into this game so far. Decent pace, almost a giveaway. Tanf to Holmberg to Robertson. Chips it to himself. That's a nice play. His linemates changing, though. Help him.

00:17:51

Help him. Gets it to Benoit.

00:17:53

Benoit on Nyes was in front. Shister. Oh, he stumbled onto the crossbar there. I'm not sure what happened. Rangers busting out of their own zone. Schneider with it. Schneider driving the net. Marner cuts off the pass. Matthews is out there. Timmons to Benoit. Timmons in for Lillegren. I shouldn't have said. It's the exact same as last game. Lilligran is in for Timmons. No other way around. Timmons is in for Lilligran. That's the only change. Matthews.

00:18:30

Oh, good play.

00:18:31

Stop by Shasturkin, who doesn't have his stick. He'll get it back as the Rangers break out. Panaran going right up against Oelze. Jake McCabe nearly stripped by trocheck. Handled smoothly by Matthews. Behind the net. What was that? All right. It at very least doesn't result in a Ranger scoring chance for now. Fox in deep in the leave zone. Paneran. He's going to come up with it.

00:19:06

Oh.

00:19:07

Passed shot and a stop. Just under three minutes into the first period. Shots three one for the leaf. 1704 to go in the first. Me here says if OEl scores tonight, Leafs win the division this year. Dude, he looks good. He looks pretty good. Puck is about to be dropped. Sam Kerik with the ozone. Draw for the Rangers. David Kampf. D zone. Draw for the Leafs. This is fourth line versus fourth line. Are we going to get what I think we're all going to get? Rempy is in there to take the face off. He loses the draw. Where is it? Rangers come up with it. Where'd the puck go? Into the corner. Leafs chip it out. Reeves giving chase. Kendra Miller.

00:20:02

Whoa. Reeves camp for the good play drives, tries to get it to Lorenz.

00:20:08

It doesn't work. To the point. Reeves noise in front. Puck doesn't get through.

00:20:15

Ah.

00:20:16

Lorenz had time to give that to camp, who was all alone behind the net to the point. Just put that on, man. Ben, wa. Down low. Sorry. Timmons, down low. Leaf's a little disjointed right now. Timmons around, tries to do the wraparound and Shasturkin and forces him to make a bit of a tricky save. 1615 to go in the first period as we get a whistle in the Rangers end. Doug Lee. Fan. Hey, Steve, where is the list for appearances? It should be the pinned tweet on my twitter profile. The only date that is not on there, and actually, now that you mention it, I need to put it on there, is Oshawa. Oshawa. We're doing a generals game. Puck has dropped. The reason it wasn't on the list is we didn't have a seller to sell books we now do. And you're learning that before Adam and Jesse. Actually, I forgot to tell them, so I'll make sure to change that. Also, Justin Fisher, who made that graphic, I never told. Kirthy Bettman says Panerin, panarin, paneran, breadman. Zabanajad crosses the blue line for the Rangers.

00:21:38

Truba on. Oh, tricky save for stallers.

00:21:44

I don't know how much of that he saw. It was on Chris crider in front. That's his bread and butter. Truba. That's a nifty little pass. And oh, boy. Tan of just doesn't tie up the stick of crider. Forces solar's to make a really good save. Oh, nearly goes five hole. 1535 to go in the first period. Puck is.

00:22:16

Dropped.

00:22:19

Nice. Chips it out. Marner looking for it. It's way up in the sky. Rangers come up with a trocheck. Good feed to Fox, who's aggressive. Marner to nyes. And the Leafs break it out. Nice being pester. Oh, hit pretty decently, but he stands up to it. That was a good battle with hell.

00:22:41

Shot glove wide.

00:22:44

That was a Jake McCabe. Usually left handed shot in that spot with Matthews on the ice. It's Matthews. I think the puck just went into the netting. 1456 to go in the first period. Yeah, Keandre Miller does a really good job. Pinching nice off there, but nice stands right up to him. That was a really good battle there. Sadeen magic. JT Miller just left the game with an injury sustained off the opening face off. The hockey gods hate the Canucks. Are you serious? I benched him. I. Sorry. I bench la Fernier for JT Miller. That's poo. Oh, well. Lovely Leafs in the Rangers zone. Robertson, that can't hold the zone for long. Caco. Oh, boy. Nearly something for the Rangers there. Benoit. Good job taking out his man without taking a penalty for a change. Tavares at center ice has it stripped deep into the leave zone. Stallers leaves it for Timmons. Looked like he was going to shoot it up the ice. Holmberg in the corner. Oh, stapled pretty hard there by Truba. Robertson giving chase. Tanf holds the line. Tavares Robertson holds the zone, perhaps delaying the inevitable. Holmberg working hard against Truba.

00:24:36

Tanf down low.

00:24:40

Reeves.

00:24:42

Oh, he went for a big hit on Schneider. Didn't end up being that big, but Rempe, he's going to come over the boards. Oh, is it coming? Is this the shift? Reeves in the corner. Lawrence with a good hit. Riley at the point. Puts it on. That's at the side of the net. Trube has been out there a while. He's still out there.

00:25:07

Camp. He's got Lorenz with him.

00:25:09

Puts it in front. It's not a good pass though, camp. Good work there. Rangers finally get a change in leaf. Still have the puck. Crowds getting noisy. I think they're just cheering for a shift. Well done. Domi in there with McMahon. Interesting if they score here. Thought McMahon might have been offside. We're not going to have to worry because Rangers get out. Errant pass. No icing though. Stallers out to play it. McCabe pass off for Domey. Rangers will get that back. Graham Strang, a heartfelt congrats on getting credentials. Thank you very much. Y'all made it. Is reporter Jesse in the building tonight? He is. Nylander with it in the neutral zone. Crider as the Leafs change. Oh, hit a bunch of feet. Leafs get it down low. Just Sturkin out of the net to play it. Blake, welcome to SDP vip. Cassie said, hold this for me while I go eat. It's not an l, is it? That'd be mean. Nice giving chase. Ruidle, who's just put together a really solid career as kind of a journeyman. Feels like he's played hundreds of games. Cassie gifted another 20 vip memberships. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

00:26:44

And if you got one from her, say thank you. Marner giving Chase nearly strips the puck. Matthews tries to do the same thing they do. Come up with it in the neutral zone. Sick move from Matthews. Oh, my God. Matthews to Marner in the corner. Wins it off. Trocheck to Homeburg.

00:27:04

Stop us to sterkin. Marner cross checked, but not enough to.

00:27:10

Be a cross check. You know what I mean?

00:27:11

Matthews. Oh, what a move. Stopped.

00:27:18

Benoit. I holds the zone temporarily, but this might be a bit of a rush here for the Rangers.

00:27:23

They pass it, pass it.

00:27:24

A. Whoa. Good breakup there by Connor. Timmons gets a pass from Matthews, who's going off, and he gets a deep Holmberg out there. That was a bit of a strange shift. Holmberg spent most of that shift with those guys on from the leash.

00:27:42

Rebound. Robertson over skates it. Oh, that's your chance, kid.

00:27:50

Holmberg stripped. And here come the Rangers. But they're tired, so they're gonna just get it to one man and get it deep. McCabe. Oh. Taken down. Hard hit. I think that was Will Cooley. We got a pause in the action. What happened there? Penalty. Oh, it hit the Leafs. Open door. Thank you. Oh, the puck was right on Robertson stick, but it chipped over. That is mean and not fun. Steve dangle here. SDPN YouTube channel. Watch along here on Saturday night. Do original six teams. It's the Leafs. It's the Rangers. It's a good time. It's peace. It's tranquility. It's the fall. It is comfort. It is the best. It's the best. Didn't feel like the fall today. We. We got our Christmas pictures taken today. We're like sweating. One year we were so cold. We were like all on the verge of tears. And this year we're like, sweating. Wes, Richard, congrats on the book. Steve. Thank you. Thank you. Grazia. Grazie. I ended up getting a concussion on Tuesday, and your book really helped me through the boredom. Do they tell you to read when you get a concussion? Thank you. Regardless, when it hurts my brain to look at screens.

00:29:24

Oh, that makes sense. Can we get a. Let's go, let's go. Keep it cool. For Wes Paola Bellan gifting 10,000. I believe that's chilean pesos. Gracious. At the podcast, you were talking about the annoying blackouts. A good thing about living outside a hockey market is that in Chile, the Disney plus subscription includes all 82 games. That's so many games for each of the 32 teams. So if any of you want to get upset. You watching from Canada or the States? No. No. You watching the Leafs in Canada? Have a hard time watching a harder time watching the Leafs in Canada than someone in Chile does. They're going to fix it eventually. 1020 to go in the first period. Puck is dropped nearly halfway through. Puck in the neutral zone. Bobby McMahon. Gosh, he's fast. Beats Adam Fox to the puck and he comes up with it to knock to the ice. And the Rangers take it the other way. Just eight shots combined for these two teams who. Connor Timmons got rocked pretty good behind the Leafs net there. And that's going to be icing on the Leafs. Is Timmons okay? 949 to go. He took a nasty reverse hit.

00:31:08

Who's 72? I thought it was heel. The broadcast didn't really. It is heatle. Yeah, broadcast like didn't say anything. Zabanajad face off against Domi in the defensive end. Domi comes up with it. That's a big win. Benoit behind the net for Timmons, who's obviously okay. Nielander chips it up for McMahon, who ties it up. Truba. In there come the Rangers again on stop by stolers. Couldn't really control the rebound. Has to stop. Sabanajat again. 923 to go in the first period. A defensive zone draw. Did any of you guys see that weird video from Sean Avery? He was ripping on Mikasa Bandajad saying he was spending all summer djing in Ibiza. I think it was Ibiza. It was weird. D 409, gifted, five SDPN memberships. Puck is dropped. 921 to go in the first period. What was that producer Hayden? He is weird. Sean Avery is a weird guy. Girthy Bettman. I'm not fixing it. I'm chilean. So they get what they want. Okay, that's fair enough. Leaves fourth line in the offensive zone where they've spent a the vast majority of their time tonight.

00:32:47

Reeves, good play on Braden Schneider. All right. Lawrence to the point on.

00:32:54

Doesn't get all the way through. Reeves, oh, almost trips over the Rangers net there. Oh, weird bounce. Rangers attacking one on three. Here come reinforcements. Carrick Ruidle, fourth line. On fourth line again. Rempy and Reeves escape by each other. They think better of it. Maybe next time. But the fourth lines have been up against each other, what, three times? Four times. Oh. Puck hits the ref twice there.

00:33:27

And O'Rangers get it on stolen. Stops it. Rebound shot. They score. Alexi Lafrenier. Are you kidding? No.

00:33:46

Lafreniere, who I benched in fantasy for JT Miller, who got hurt off the opening draw. So let's see what happens here. Oh, boy, I need to see that again. Lafreniere so nice is out there with camp. And you said Robertson as well. Are you sure it was Robertson? Because that would be forwards from three different lines out there. It was the wrong number. I thought so. What I was watching is it hit the ref twice on the clearing attempt or attempt to put it to the point it screwed up both teams.

00:34:27

Ah.

00:34:27

Leafs down one nothing. Puck is dropped 812 to go in the first period. Gary Bapman says chilean thrashers incoming. And Ty Smith gifted five STP and memberships. Thank you.

00:34:38

Leafs about to take a penalty. Might give up a goal.

00:34:41

Staller stops it. And is that Pontus Holmberg going off? Yeah, with the hold on heedle. Justin Fisher gifted ten STPM memberships. Did I guess Lafrenier?

00:35:01

Oh, I did.

00:35:05

I don't care. I want to win in fantasy more than I want your memberships. Thank Justin if he gifted you memberships. That's unbelievable. We're gonna be opening 0405 series one upper deck hobby packs in search of young guns. This is not a paid promotion advertising thing. It's just a fun thing that we want to do. We bought a whole box. So I was thinking every Saturday night we can just open one, maybe two. Wes, Richard, don't forget to hit that like, button. Hit subscribe and tell all your friends that Steve Dangle is a beauty. Thank you for doing my job for me because I haven't been doing a very good job. Click like if you like the stream so far. Click subscribe. If you really liked it. Tell all your friends. The Rangers are up one nothing and I'm sad about it. For intermission entertainment, Hayden, what do we got? First and or second? Frankie Corrado on early season surprises. We just had him on the Steve Dangle podcast yesterday. Wow, that's fast. And Bobby McMahon's hot start. Can it continue? Is that us or CJ show? I'm excited to talk to Jesse on Monday.

00:36:37

Well, speaking of Monday, Girthy Bettman's onto it all hair the hail the grippers. Adam Wild will be hosting a stream Leafs lightning here on this YouTube channel. But Jesse is at this game, his second hockey night in Canada as a credentialed member of the media. Rangers up one nothing in this game. With the last five shots on goal in this game, they're going to get the power play. Now puck is drop Holmberg to the box. Oh, Rangers come up with it. How did that happen? And they luckily fire it down the ice very early on in the season. But they're scoring on 35.7% other power play attempts that is fourth in the league. Again, early season percentages are wacko right now. Matthews and Marner out there for the Leafs on the penalty kill. By the way, what gives you the fourth best power play in the league right now? Five goals. Five. That's it. Third of the season for La Frenier. I think I picked him as my breakout player. He was so good in the playoffs, man. Marner attacking the point. Fox. Disabanajad back to Fox. Zabanajad. Whoa, weird pass over to Paneran Fox.

00:38:00

Zabanajad. A lot of righties here.

00:38:02

Paneran high and wide.

00:38:06

Fox at the point. Boy, these guys move it well, Panarin, they're converging.

00:38:11

Stopped by the blocker of Stolar.

00:38:13

Zabanajad with at Fox. I loved watching these guys in the playoffs.

00:38:18

Paneran down low. Where to go off the bar.

00:38:21

Directed wide there by camp. And puck goes out of play. Off the deflection, mercifully 37 seconds ago in this power play. 638 to go in the first, as we await a face off our Bruce rye. Remember when the Leafs missed out on getting La Freenier? Whoops on getting La Freenier when the wilds lottery ball intercepted Toronto's. Is that what happened, Lafreniere in 2020? No. Anyway, puck is dropped, fired down the ice. Shuster can with it. Key. Andre Miller picks it up. 20 seconds to go in this Rangers power play. Good stick there by McCabe. It's not quite enough. Rangers with it at the point. Oh, Miller flubs it. Nice.

00:39:26

After him.

00:39:28

Miller lease.

00:39:30

Penalty is over. Holmberg. Oh, almost sprung it. A break. He might still get it. One on one against Miller. He's waiting for help. He gets knocked down to the ice.

00:39:41

Leaf fans wanting a penalty. I'm not sure why he was knocked down, but it was fine. Holmberg to McMahon. Nylander chasing after it. About five and a half to go in the first year. Miller stripped by William Nylander Strong. McMahon tries to get across size to Ackman. Larson. That's a low percentage feed, and it didn't work. Here come the Rangers. Riley chips it. Rangers hold the zone, though.

00:40:15

It's the rempire State Building. Driving. Oh, puts it through the crease. Holy sh.

00:40:23

He's so huge. He's so big. Five minutes to go in the first period here. Icing against the Rangers. 501 to go in the first period. Robert bet $50. Muchos gracias. Heard a rumor the other day between Toronto and Anaheim. Lille Grin and yarn. Croak for a pick or. And a pick for Frank Vetrono. Would you do it for the second line? If you put Vetrono on the right of Domi on the left. Could play center. If you don't want Willie there. Robert, it's a lovely dream, but Rangers win that draw. I wouldn't do that trade in a million years if I was Anaheim. That's not nearly enough. Like what? I'm the ducks. What do I want? Yarn croak for little girl maybe. Here come the Leafs.

00:41:20

Matthews to Marner.

00:41:21

Oh, he can't quite get the one timer off. Oh. Matthews collides with Rempy in the neutral zone. Rempy got the worst of it. Marner to the point. Oh, to an invisible defenseman. Whoo. Robertson through the neutral zone. Shifty gets it to Holmberg. Holmberg wide. Holmberg has got to pick it up. He does not look great tonight. Robertson does not have a stick. That will severely reduce his ability to score. 344 to go in the first rue wheedle. Up the ice. Rangers chip it in deep for a line change. Stolers out to McCabe. Robertson yeets the thing into the Ranger zone. Miller. Rangers chip it out. Oh, boy. Leafs nearly too many men. But they're okay.

00:42:41

Whoop.

00:42:41

Almost too many men again. Domi. Shifty to McCabe in deep. Leafs really disjointed right now. They definitely feel like they're going backward as this period. Goes into the leave zone. Stole it. Okay. I don't know about that. Nearly gives it away. Domi tries to get it out. It hits a Ranger. They keep possession. Oh, McMahon has it now.

00:43:15

Up the ice. Breakaway. William Nylander shot wide. Wow. What a feed from Bobby McMahon that.

00:43:24

Came out of nowhere. No one camps at the offensive blue line quite like William Nielander in stride. Adam Fox slowing down the pace. Rangers chip it in again. Stolar is out of the net to play it again. Should maybe get back in his nets. He does if you're a goaltender. Ten the goal. Lawrence chips it in. Braden Schneider. Reeves hounding them. If Reeves. He didn't really hit trube there. If he hit him with a big hit, I think there might have been a fight. The Rangers are not matching the Leafs fourth line with theirs. Lawrence in deep. This is going to be a quick shift for the Leafs fourth line. Reeves in alone. Riley, where'd that go?

00:44:15

Shot from nice. That just wide.

00:44:17

That was a really good opportunity. An unfortunate miss there. Reeves coming off. Marner on decent trade.

00:44:29

Rangers, what a feed.

00:44:31

And what a save from stolars on Panera. And under 90 seconds to go here in the first period. Leaf's net is off. So they blow the whistle with 125 to go in the first period. Doug Halidin, any costume ideas for Halloween at the Leafs game? If you like a bald cap, you could always be Lou Lamarello. Who would be a good one. Hayden goes. Go with Steve. Dangle goes. A brown haired chubby guy with his own jerk name on the jersey. Yeah, just go sell my book. Matthew squints the draw. You know what, Hayden? I'm just going to shut up. You have all the good ideas. The Ranger Matthews was complaining about something. I don't know what it was. Trocheck. Good move. Holy smokes. Lafreniere.

00:45:49

Rangers might get a chance here. Oh, stolar stops it. Rebound.

00:45:54

Marner comes up with it. Minutes of play in the first period. Marner. Marner, Marner.

00:45:59

Here he comes, here he comes, here he goes.

00:46:01

Oh, he's in the corner battling for it. Tavares out there swapped off for Matthews. Rangers get it deep. Girthy Bettman dress up as a ketchup bottle during an Oilers game. That's really good. Homeburg. That's really good. In deep under 30 seconds ago, homeberg. Oh, Shasturk had made a glove save there. Tavares behind the net battling, battling, battling. Ah. Rangers come up with it. Not, not a great period, man. Not a disaster. Not great. And the Rangers have a chance for one more heel. Leafs come up with it. And that'll be the period. Leafs out shot ten, seven in the first. Outscored one nothing. They've had worse periods than that and they've bounced back better than that. But they definitely got to have a better second than they did their first. Holmberg just bumped into Matthews like real disjointed. Oh boy. Robert Bett says I'm old but I miss Howie Meeker. Leafs could use Howie Meeker right now. Former Calder Trophy winner Howie Meeker.

00:47:31

Well, this is Saturday night Watch along.

00:47:34

With Steve Dangle here on the STP and YouTube channel. How you doing? Click like click subscribe. Tell all your friends. Let's do this before we get to our intermission. Clip hockey cards 0405 or not. 0405-2425 upper deck series one never open packet. We're going to try to get rookies here. We'll see what we get. We bought a hobby box. Here we go. I love hobby packs because they are thick. What do we got? It's twelve cards per pack. That's a meaty pack. What do we got? Jamie Drysdale Common card. Clayton Keller Common card. And a collectible because it's the Arizona Coyotes and not Utah. Connor Ingram, goaltender, Arizona Coyotes. Also Utah collectible. Common Card series one checklist. Kucharov and William Nylander, one of the most likable and unlikable players in the NHL. Common card. We got a good one. We got a good one. JT Miller, common card. And this is did.

00:49:14

Oh, wow. How do we get all of these.

00:49:20

In the same pack? Justin, you're gonna freak out.

00:49:24

What?

00:49:29

I can't believe I just got these all in the same pack. UD canvas. Frank Nazer. Nazar Nazer. Young guns. This is a young guns rookie, but it's also UD canvas, and for some reason it's black and white. I gotta think, this is rare. I don't know the value, but I will protect it with my life. Next card. Liam Ogrin, producer Hayden, you want again, it is a young guns, so it's a rookie card, but it's UD canvas, so it's like textured and somehow in the same pack as those two young guns. Remember, you're supposed to get like six young guns in a box of 24 packs of twelve cards. We got three young guns in the same pack. If there were any young guns you want, this is in your list of about half a dozen that you want. Cutter, Goatee, regular young guns. Anaheim Ducks.

00:50:42

Sick. Absolutely. Sickendez.

00:50:50

The rest are common. I won't lie to you, but Ty carty. Cardi cart ye. Seattle Kraken. Cole Perfetti, common. Another kraken. Jaden Schwartz Common. And one of the more underrated all stars in the league, Adrian Kempy Common.

00:51:17

Just.

00:51:25

Robert Malloy says that Naser card is going for $55 on eBay right now. Canadian or american? Canadian. Man can't win them all.

00:51:41

That's a crazy pack.

00:51:45

Right now on hockey Night in Canada. They're breaking down. The fact that, like, the ref did sort of cause the whole kerfuffle that got that one Rangers goal. It is what it is. Before we get to the clip, real quick, J Max, with Utah needing help on defense, could be a landing spot for Lillegren or keep for depth. I mean, if they meet the Leafs price, you let them, for sure. They're missing dursey. They're missing Marino. They're the ones with a need like Marino. And dirty are going to be out long term. They need right handed talent. You could do worse than Lille, grin. You could do better. I think there's a match there. I think it's a good fit. And, Cassie, you don't need to know listening to the pod at work. You were talking about how the team wasn't going to sleep with them. What? Oh, oh, oh.

00:52:54

I.

00:52:54

Okay, I'm trying to explain the context to the. The people watching right now, and I can't remember the conversation, but I. This made my coworker turn to look. Then when you mentioned how I was listening, I swear I almost spit out my drink. I. I wish I could do a better job with this story because I forget the context. Jeff McGoogan gifted five SDP and memberships. And last one before we throw to the clip. Spencer, do you think Adam would have tears of joy or sadness if we sent him assigned? Uh, where'd it go? Oh, message retracted in the middle of me reading it. I'm going to say joy because I don't know what you said. Uh, producer Hayden, how long is the clip? Oh, we're going to go with the shorter of the two. So which one's that? McMahon. Okay, here's the Steve dangle podcast conversation of Bobby McMahon and his hot start. And if we got to cut it short, don't worry, we will.

00:54:00

Leafs likely to trade Lilligrand, so apparently they're looking to find a spot for him elsewhere. Here's the thing. I've never seen a trade in October be great. But I can tell you where you can get some real value for a right shot defenseman that doesn't fit in your system. Trade deadline. And I know people are like, let's clear the space now. You don't need yar croak, you don't need comp, you don't need doer, you don't. Well, I actually think a lot of Leaf fans like Doer, but you don't need comps contract. You don't need yarn. Cook's contract. You don't need Lillegren's contract. The reality of the situation is they can carry them well. And also, guys get hurt and guys get hurt. And I look at Lilligran and I go, okay, yeah, you could try to. He's probably not thrilled being the 8th defenseman on this team.

00:54:43

Fine.

00:54:43

But he is. And he doesn't fit Berub a system. And it seems like this is coming to an end. I would wait until you get value for him. Guys like that are so valuable going into trade deadline. And I just look at this and I'm like, okay, do you want a third and a fifth round pick for Timothy Lillegren?

00:55:01

Not really.

00:55:02

Or do you want maybe a second?

00:55:04

Here's how it could work potentially. I don't think you're getting a second for him. I would love that.

00:55:08

But at trade deadline, defense, they also.

00:55:11

Might need the cap space before that. Yeah, and he also has to be in the lineup for them to get a second. Like. Yeah, he has to increase his value by playing. Remember the old pump and dump with Phenofde? Like they need something like that. Or you, you're gonna have to be, your hand is gonna be forced when guys come back from injury because you need that cap.

00:55:28

Yeah. If he plays well enough to be worth a second round pick, you keep him. Yeah, that's what, that's what I think.

00:55:34

And we have to see more from Connor Timmons, too, to see if he actually sticks.

00:55:38

Yeah, and there's also, we haven't even had Myers playing.

00:55:40

That's what I mean. Philip Myers is an interesting one, too.

00:55:43

The error here is letting it get to the point. Point where Lilligran is probably their 9th defenseman. Like, that's, that's probably 9th. That's probably the 9th. If you're putting Myers ahead of him and so be timid. I don't want to count it. Eight then.

00:55:59

Sure.

00:55:59

Yeah, eight. Cool. So.

00:56:01

Damn.

00:56:02

Eight defense.

00:56:03

Coconut.

00:56:04

That's, that's the problem where you have that guy for at this point, the, the time to make the move is the offseason.

00:56:09

Yes.

00:56:09

When you're doing the lines, when you're projecting the depth charts, you move off of it so you get all that cast space at the time.

00:56:15

Now wait, though, because they have guys potentially coming back from injury in about a month. There's a couple of really interesting options here. What if someone gets hurt?

00:56:23

Am I not wrong with 9th? You were doing the count. I didn't do the count.

00:56:26

Hawk and Pa is healthy, right? 9th, it's nice.

00:56:28

Hawk and Pa. Yeah, yeah, I think it was.

00:56:31

He's 8th now. But if Hawk and Paw is back in even two months beginning in December.

00:56:36

You're absolutely right.

00:56:38

Game rap. I was reading or whatever. I was reading on the Lagren it. Somebody wrote eight, nine. No, he get at the, like the low end. He's the 9th defenseman on the steam.

00:56:46

So. Okay, a month into the season, Doer will be coming back. Yarn croak will be coming back. But guys get hurt. What if you need Lilligrand all of a sudden you can put him in the lineup like, I don't, I'm not in love with this defenseman. He can play NHL games. It'll be fine. We'll all live or you don't need him. But someone else does. Because if the Leafs don't get any injuries, I guarantee you one of the other 31 teams will.

00:57:14

Yeah. And take advantage of that.

00:57:15

Yes. Yeah. So I really don't see the Leafs position right now as anything other than strong.

00:57:21

Yeah. Okay. And. And just. Is Dakota murmurs just an ltir guy or what's the deal?

00:57:28

No, he, um. I want to say dislocated his jaw.

00:57:33

Yeah.

00:57:33

But he a Leaf roster guy or is he injured?

00:57:35

He's on IR.

00:57:36

I know, but, like, if, like, would it. If he hadn't dislocated his job, would he be a guy to make this team?

00:57:42

He. He might get the roster spot that Myers got. Okay, but, like, just cause he played more games in the NHL last year, but because he was with them during the preseason and got injured during the preseason, you can't just be like, all right, we're going to send you down to the AHL, and you're going to make your AHL salary. He's on their NHL roster, and it was.

00:58:02

Yeah, he had jaw surgery on September 27.

00:58:06

Jaws are.

00:58:06

That's gonna be a while.

00:58:08

They said he's week to week as of now, so he's gotta be do the IR stints, and then they're gonna re evaluate.

00:58:13

I wonder if he's got, like, do you play it wired shut, though? Like, is he on an old soft.

00:58:18

Throw on the cage?

00:58:19

And you're good. I mean, like, minimum. You can skate well. I mean, it's not like you're. Your quality of living is lower.

00:58:27

You're not eating good food.

00:58:29

You're just. You're probably not sleeping well. You're probably pissed off all the time.

00:58:34

Yeah, let it melt. It's also not important for the lease to get murmurs back in the lineup.

00:58:38

No.

00:58:39

Or in the lineup at all.

00:58:40

Fix your face.

00:58:41

Give them some time here.

00:58:43

If it was, they would have bigger problems. Leaf's likely to trade Lilligrand, so apparently they're looking to find a spot for him elsewhere. Here's the thing. I've never seen a trade in October be great. But I can tell you where you can get some real value for a right shot defenseman that doesn't fit in your system. Trade deadline. And I know people are like, let's clear the space.

00:59:25

It.

01:01:00

We don't know what happened. Oh, my God. My alarm just went off. When stuff happens, you improvise. Hey, everyone. I don't like my headroom. That's better. Steve Tangle here on the STPN YouTube channel. Goodness gracious. Spencer appears to be back. Let me try to read it again. Do you think Adam would have tears of joy or sadness if we sent him a signed Habs Doug Gilmore jersey? Sorry for the retract. My autocorrect sucks. I'm gonna say tears of joy because he's a Habs fan. Leaf upstart. Hi, Steve went to the Hockey hall of Fame today. Ten of 1010 out of ten, no notes. The Hockey hall of Fame is so good, and I feel like if you're local to the area, you maybe take the hall of Fame for granted. If you're a big hockey fan, it's just such a good time. It has largely been the same forever. Like, in terms of setup, the games have changed a little bit. The, the. Like, what am I. What am I looking for? The staples of the hall of Fame have been the same for a long time, but they switch up what's there. I don't know what they can do to make it more fresh.

01:02:40

Like, the hall of Fame archives is packed. Absolutely packed. Like, one thing I think they should do is. So the hall of Fame archives is actually at the least practice facility. It's upstairs. I've been in there, and they have hundreds, hundreds of sticks, like, dating back to the 18 hundreds. And you know how they're like, oh, this is the mask exhibit. This is the. This exhibit. They should just do a stick exhibit, and you could literally swap it out every week, all of them, and just have a screen running with the highlights associated with those sticks. There's my idea. It's free. D I'm. Let's go, caps. And are the tennis balls green? Yes. Tennis balls are green. I'm gonna fight you. You said I love you, but I don't believe you. I don't believe you.

01:03:41

One for 1 second.

01:03:53

I love, love Jesse having access to the press box, because right now, all he's doing is texting me breakdowns of plays, and this doesn't happen if this doesn't happen, if this. So one thing we are seeing in the comments section is people asking for a Jesse call in segment. We will look into it. I mean, I think that'd be friggin incredible. Sam Novotny, any plans on coming down to New York? Let's go, Rangers. No immediate plans, but in terms of, like, somewhere to put on a live Steve Dangle podcast, like, New York is, of course, on our radar. Cassie. Two years ago, Gino as Kenny Malkin was the lone assist on Sid's 500th goal. After the game, he said he hopes Sid would assist on his. On Gino's 500th goal. Sid was the loan assist.

01:05:09

Those guys are freaks.

01:05:12

Second period is going to begin very soon. There's a little girl with a. Someone roars. Bobby scores sign. And Bobby McMahon gave her a puck. That's adorable. All right, puck is about to drop. Beginning of the second period. And here we go. Puck is dropped. Ooh. Domy lay in the wood on Zabanajad. Lay in the wood on crider. Get some skin on. 91 there. I think that's Riley Smith. He's grumpy to start the the second. But the Rangers come up with the puck. Sabana. Jack. Great pass. Can't be handled. And here goes McMahon. Nice feed, Willie. Oh to Domi. Domi on stop by Shasturkin.

01:06:22

Whoa.

01:06:24

McCabe went for a hit. Missed it. Leafs increasing the rough stuff here on this first shift to the second period. Oh, Tomi didn't realize the puck was ahead of him or behind him, rather. Rangers with it as they change. Both teams changing. Rangers fan on the dump in attempt. Stolars out of the net to play it. Passes it to Ekman. Larson who chips it for Holmberg, who just straight up needs to be better. If Holmberg didn't play center. Oh, boy. Generally, I think he's been good the first few games.

01:07:10

Robertson.

01:07:11

Oh, can't get the shot through yet. Holmberg. Robertson to Tavares. Tavares also not the greatest first period titan of tan of on. Shasturkin makes that save. Being down against eager Shasturkin, not great. Bob Holmberg tangled up with Truba like he's been a few times tonight. Actually flipped into the leave zone. But Tanf to Riley. Leaf should hopefully get this out. And they do. Leaf's top line, mostly on the ice. Marner's about to come on. Rangers in deep to Panera. And who's all alone. Puck is in Timmons feet and he didn't know it. Rangers lose the zone. Keep the puck. Cassie says three goals on five shots for Jari. Last game versus Buffalo. Jari catching strays. I know, we talked about it. Last pod. It's a leaf Rangers game.

01:08:14

Matthews with the steel shot up and over.

01:08:17

Leaf still with it. Nice down low. Marner to Timmons.

01:08:24

Timmons on tip from Matthews.

01:08:26

And that went behind the net. Nice. Great play. Matthews download a marner. Marner up to the point.

01:08:34

That's a slam on the brakes.

01:08:37

Cuts again.

01:08:38

Good pass shot.

01:08:41

That was Stephen Lawrence around top line. Off fourth line on Ruby. Has been or Craig. Sorry, has been keeping the fourth line in the offensive zone. Tonight.

01:08:56

Reeves driving the net. Oh, you almost got one. That was so close.

01:09:02

Good play. What happened there?

01:09:08

Oh, Lorentz shot.

01:09:10

That doesn't get through. Rangers blocking a lot. Leafs temporarily hold the zone. Rempy after it. Here come the Leafs again. Chipped wide for campf. Reeves at the front of the net. Riley on.

01:09:31

Oh. Camp. Oh. Rebound. McMahon. Kiff.

01:09:34

Whoa.

01:09:34

Robbed by the glove of Egor Shasturkin.

01:09:38

Reeves jammed away at it. There's Rempy. Is it coming? Is it happening? It's not happening. Robert Bett, your alarm went off. That's peruby telling you to wake the f up. And have you heard about the Leafs in contention for Maxim Shabanov of the KHL? Do you know who he is? I have heard. I just don't really know enough about him yet. Cassie said if he wasn't bad, he wouldn't catch strays. Saw you on you'll never make it. That's a show that I did with my friends Joseph Benedictus. The Benedictus? And Ross Hayes. Citrullo. It was amazing. Thank you for being candid. You deserve all of your success, whether you believe it or not. And for all your content. Video are written over the years. Thank you. J Rock. Puck is dropped. 1610 to go in the first period. Trying to do all my jobs. I'm the timekeeper. It's okay. We'll get the clock back. Stop there. By stolers. Christopher Morana. Yes. Don't worry. I'm getting to it. Buddy, buddy. I know, I know. I see all. But also, thank you for your help, because I miss them sometimes. Here come the rangers.

01:10:54

Oh, they get in deepen.

01:10:56

Ah.

01:10:57

Where is it? Behind the leaf's net. Leaf somehow. Oh, boy.

01:11:01

They dodged a bullet there. And now they escape with numbers. Nylander. Ah, they go offside. 1532 to go in the second. Christopher Morana. Any advice for an 18 year old TMU student? TMU is the school that I went to. It just wasn't called that. Yes. Try everything. Try as many things as you can in school. Oh. Tan have saved a goal there. I puck has dropped 1529 to go in the second period. I don't think it's that they, whoever they are, make us decide what to do with our lives. Too young. Oh, I think it's just that we feel that way. There's always time to learn more. Matthews driven wide. McCabe tries to shovel it. It doesn't really work. And here come the Rangers.

01:11:58

This is a partial two on one paneran. Oh, where is it?

01:12:02

Wide Laverne, you're with it. Chased by oel Matthews on trocheck. Rangers with it at the point.

01:12:08

Braden Schneider on.

01:12:09

That's blocked. Leaf's doing a good job blocking it in the second period here. Really good pace to the second period. Here come the Leafs. Top line on the ice in the offensive zone where you want them. Nice picked off. Here comes laugh Marner. I don't love that line change. Hopefully it doesn't cost them. Benoit Timmons gain center, dumps it. Leafs don't come up with it. Rangers looking tired, so they get a line change. Nice long pass for tavares, who gets it to Holmberg. Oh, just took it out of the net to play it, and that was actually a pretty good choice. Robertson. Oh, boy. Tries to break it up. Doesn't work. Here come the Rangers. Stole those. Directs that wide. Six minutes gone here in the second period. Timmons turns back. Who. Nice move there on Cooley. Robertson gain center. Chips it in for Holmberg, who gives chase. Blockered to the side by shasturkin. Holmberg. One on three. Campf in there. There's that fourth line in the offensive zone again. Half of having a good fourth line is deployment. Reeves and campfire, both after the same puck. Neither of them come up with it. Here's heedle Kako Tanf battling for it behind the net.

01:13:39

Oh, Rempy comes in for a big hit. Doesn't really get all of it. Here's Tanf, tries to pass it. Cross ice. Doesn't work. And the Rangers, they're going to have numbers here. Rempe is in on it. Shot high and wide. Here come the Leafs with numbers now.

01:13:57

This is a three on two, camp. Reeves. Oh, you gotta shoot that, Revo.

01:14:04

Here come the Rangers again. Offside, 1257 to go in the second remp. Elbows high. Stick Sam Kerik in the face after the whistle. Those two are on the same team.

01:14:20

Dude.

01:14:21

Way better second period. Holy moly. Steve Dangle here on the SDPN YouTube channel. Click like, click subscribe. I don't want to just be like, here's our address. Just blurt it out over the air. We're back from commercial break. Where is the buck drop? 1257 to go. Puck is dropped. Leafs first line is out there. Rangers answer back with laugh Panarin trocheck. McCabe gain center. Oh, puck is wide. Who's looked out of place? McCabe. He's stallers with a save on trocheck. Yeah, McCabe is. Yeah, he's definitely looks strange. Marner. Good stick there. Can't quite catch up to it, but good defensive play. Ah, no, he does a good job there. That's a good end of the shift there for Mitch Lee. First line needs to switch off, though. Tired. Here come the Rangers. They're late in their shift. Leaves. Take down their man. No call, McMahon. Three on one.

01:17:39

Nylander two.

01:17:43

Oh, here come the Rangers now. This better not go in. Dude. Shot wide. Oh, Domi. Shoot it, dude. I thought Nylander should have shot it. He didn't shoot it. McMahon shot.

01:18:01

Stop.

01:18:02

Where is it? McMahon with his own rebound, I think. Willie in there. Oh, they're going to catch hell when they get to the bench. Zabanajad, who owns a burger joint in Sweden. I learned that when I went there. Nylander can't take the puck off Mancini. Cassie mulling over a possible trip to Toronto next year. Well, we'd have to roll out the red carpet for you. Oh, Leafs just took a penalty. Rangers about to get their second power play. This line that blew that three on one is still out there. They've now taken a penalty and they allow a goal. That's just a terrible, terrible, terrible shift. Really, really, really bad. Really, really, really bad. Leafs down to 1052 to go in the second. That's Chris Crider making it to nothing. Number 20 makes it two nothing. Oh. McMahon gives it to Nylander. To Tomi. Oh, I think he was blocked. Paneran Zabanajad. That's a great tic tac toe play. Ty Smith gives five STPN memberships. Thank you. Thank you. I think the Leafs are down to for, I believe, the first time this season, which is kind of nuts, but that being said, wake up.

01:19:54

Fourth of the season for Crider, 1021 to go in the second period. Leafs up the ice. Holmberg after it. That's got to be interference.

01:20:10

Get out of here. He was gonna be first of that puck by a mile. Oh, that's brutal.

01:20:17

Here come the Rangers good defensive stick. This better not be icing. Okay. Shasturkin comes out to play it. Oh, that's a bad non call. If the Leafs had a power play. No, that's terrible. Puck in the corner to stole his glove. Side remp hit by Reeves. Oh. Reeves into the corner with Braden. Schneider hits him. His helmet comes off. He's got to either put it back on or go to the bench. He puts it back on. Lawrence up the ice into the corner. Shasturkin gloves at 915 to go in the second. How do you turn a three on one into that? I'm going to pump a couple things right now. I know I'm asking you for money on a lot of different fronts, but I'm going to do it. Easter Seals is a charity that helps out kids with physical disabilities. Let's get a link in the chat to donate to that. Rachel's Raiders is raising money for Easter Seals. Again, that is my team. Anyone who donates to anybody on Rachel's Raiders, myself included, is going to be entered into a raffle for Leafs tickets. A pair of leaf tickets for November 16. That is a Saturday.

01:22:07

Leafs Oilers. No, I will not be coming with you. I have to stream and also my plushie Youtoos. If you go to. I believe it's on our website, sdpnouse dot ca. Yeah, no, maybe. Yeah, I got a plushie. We're trying to sell a certain amount of them because if we sell a big old bunch of them, then there might be an opportunity to sell Adam and Jesse ones. I'm just saying they're cute, they're huggable, they're lovable, they're wonderful. Hawks says can confirm eight months is longer than 69 days. I don't remember what the context is, but. Thank you, Robert. Bet. In my opinion, if the Leafs don't smarten up, Ruby will have nothing to coach next game. The whole team will be on the IR. Wake the f up, boys. I agree. Michael Borland. When you see Matt's, ask him to encourage max to show. Shoot.

01:23:20

Yo.

01:23:20

If Matt Sundin told Domy to shoot, he would lead the league, I think. All right. Face off in the Ranger zone. Leafs come up with it. 915 to go in the second.

01:23:36

Matthews point blank. Stopped. Rebound.

01:23:39

Blockered by Shasturkin. Oel, down low. Get your stick on the ice. There you go. Marner shovels it behind the net, but no one's there. McCabe's got to catch up to it. And I think he does. Puck goes into the netting and we'll get a face off. Me here says patches knows he's playing versus Tampa if they don't turn it around in a hurry. I think you're right. It's not like Robertson's made a huge difference tonight. Holmberg has been just awful. A lot of guys could be better tonight. Leafs leading the way. 36 to 28 in shot attempts. Puck is dropped with 856 to go in the second period. Lafreniere. Miller, trocheck. Trochak cutting to the middle. Oh, Riley almost kicked it into his own net. Behind the Leafs net.

01:24:37

Tanf breaks up the pass.

01:24:39

Rangers still have it. Marner, nice move in his own end. Good skating there, Luke McGrath. Igor is going to get a Toronto hockey Night in Canada. Bump for the contract. You ain't wrong. Igor out of the net to play it though. Marner collects it. Can't get it to a man at the point. Nice. Battling, battling, battling.

01:25:05

Nice.

01:25:06

Rangers have done such a good job with the Leafs top line tonight. Marner trying to politic for a penalty.

01:25:13

And it worked.

01:25:14

Leafs are finally going to go on the power play, but they hold onto it for delayed penalty call. Nylander enters.

01:25:24

Domi shot.

01:25:25

Haha. Finally. Hi, Tavares. Marner Timmons is on d here. Marner might want to switch with Timmons. Yeah. Rangers break it up. Leafs will finally get a power play here. 739 to go in the second. Adam Fox looks like he's the one going off. I'll take that claim. And v, has Jesse considered streaming from Leaf's practice? I can ask him about it. I'm not. I don't think that's allowed. But I will ask Christopher Morana. Also, any recommendations on passing the time while commuting in Toronto from Whitby? Super long. Yeah. Download my audiobook. It's pretty good. Also books that aren't mine. Berks law. Good book. Also duolingo or Babel or something. Puck is dropped. Rangers come up with it and they fire it down the ice. Not a great start to that power play. The Leafs, who were tied for last in power play, scored two goals last game. Now they're tied for 19th. That is quite the jump. Already 20 seconds gone in this power play, though, they finally gained the zone. Marner, oel tavares. Matthews down low. Oel and Nylander. Play. Give and go.

01:27:00

Matthew shot.

01:27:01

Gloved by shasturkin, who looks sharp as attack tonight. Minute 26 to go in this power play. And we wait for a face off with 07:05 to go in the second period. Puck has dropped. Matthews helps get the win. Oel on.

01:27:33

Whoo.

01:27:34

Leafs just couldn't get the rebound. They got a scamper after it, and they'll have to regain the zone here. Marner long the half wall.

01:27:45

Oh.

01:27:46

Rangers get it down the ice. Uh, Chris says can't read that yet. I just bought your first one.

01:27:53

Oh. Breakaway. Potentially almost.

01:27:57

It's okay. The Leafs hold on to it. Nylander along the half wall. Taken down. No call. Kerik. Nearly a partial two on one here. Cooley and Carrick.

01:28:08

Oh, it's a three on two. They shoot. Stopped by stolers.

01:28:13

Leafs really got to pick up their socks here. Oel with it behind the Leafs net. Riley probably screaming, let me out. There he is right there. Nope. That's Max. Domi. Sorry. Similar stride. Him and Riley, their chugga chugga crossovers. McMahon behind the net for Robertson. Domi scampering after it. So is nice. Riley at the point. Only 15 seconds left for this power play to work. McMahon holds the zone. Domi.

01:28:44

Riley. Robertson. Oh.

01:28:47

Fans on it.

01:28:48

Domi doesn't get through. Roberts. Ah.

01:28:51

Rangers clear it. Not the worst power play. Not the best. Two shots. 534 to go in the second period. Ultimately, Leafs don't score. Riley up the ice.

01:29:05

Oh. Three on one shoot at this time.

01:29:09

Tomi off the bar.

01:29:11

Tanf. Domi again. Robertson.

01:29:14

Ah.

01:29:15

Wide do the Leafs hold the zone there?

01:29:19

Do they have to get on side? We'll never know. Here come the Rangers with numbers. Trocheck. Oh.

01:29:25

Pass.

01:29:26

Rangers move it so well. Puck goes into the netting. 504 to go in the second period. That's a good save. We got a commercial break here. I feel like an auctioneer. So, like I said, I know I'm asking you for a lot. STP VIP. The book, the plushie Easter seals. I know it's a lot of things happening all at once. I don't like bugging you for it, but thank you regardless. You asked me for ten second show and tell. Ten, nine, eight, seven. Why don't I do this? Thank you for asking that question. Because it reminded me of something that I need to put back on the set. Someone gave me this dog collar for the victory puppies. There used to be two, as you can see. Now there is one. We have Iggy. He is nine years old. He's been with us a long time. He's an old boy. Still got lots of energy though. Charlie is no longer with us. And for the last few seasons, I've had this dog collar visible on the blue room set to remind me of him. It's been on the. It's been next to me while I shoot the LFRs.

01:31:24

So for that reason, I kind of forgot to put it back on set. So there's my really depressing ten second show and tell. I'm sorry. I wish it was a happier one. Logan Ruby gifted 50 STPN memberships. Holy cow. Where did that come from? Logan. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Nick says, just bought a plushie. Can't wait to do whatever I want with it.

01:31:52

Puck is dropped.

01:31:53

Five minutes to go in the second period. Robert bet. Win or lose, I still love my leafs. In the SDPN crew, you're a legend. Rangers pass it to the point and screw it up. Kendra Miller with it, passes. Rangers flubbing the puck a little bit. Austin Matthews.

01:32:16

Whoa.

01:32:17

Marner tips it into his own bench. Hot potato 437 to go in the second. As we await a face off. Dave Glatz. Hey, Steve. Tell your billionaire friend Adam Wilde to get off his wallet and help you out. Lmao. Yeah. He should just buy the whole stock of all my books. I agree. Puck is dropped. Sorry. The camera keeps not being on the face off. So I've. If it sounds like I'm being aloof about, oh, the puck is dropped, it's because I can't see when it's dropped. In that particular instance, I heard it get dropped, but I could not see it. Leafs with the puck. Nylander gain center. Timmons joins the rush. Was that offside or the Leafs taking a penalty here? Leafs are getting a power play. What happened there? He had the hand up. Oh, capo Caco going off for high sticking. I don't understand why the play was blown dead. The Leafs had the puck. Yeah. Kako high stick Domi in the face. Okay, I'm not gonna argue with it. They got a power play. 412 to go in the second. Puck is dropped. I saw that one. Nylander holds it in, digging at it, shovels it behind the net.

01:34:04

For nobody, communication is key. Matthews to Nylander. Shoots it. And that one goes wide. Really good opportunity there, Matthews. Oel. Already a better looking power play. Matthews down low. Boy, these guys are so disjointed tonight. Willie.

01:34:24

Fertivaris. Oh, my God. Glove saves. Justerkin with mustard on it. Keeps the leaf set in everything. Seed bagel. Goodness gracious.

01:34:42

Hayden says 13 million a year.

01:34:44

Oh, and you know what?

01:34:49

The mustard on that was necessary. That wasn't even frivolous mustard. Shasturkin's trying to earn that contract tonight. Puck has dropped 340 to go bang. From Nyland or wide? Marner, I think just headbutted it.

01:35:06

Oh, Rangers partial.

01:35:07

Two on one here. Oel breaks it up close to a high stick there. Nylander digs it out. Top unit still out there. Matthews. Tavares. Nice move. Whole top unit still out there. Tavares. Oel. Under a minute to go in this power play. Matthews. Uh, Nylander. Oh, boy. Put it on, boys. Nylander tries to get it to Marner. Real low percentage play there.

01:35:53

Oh, Marner.

01:35:53

Whoa, Matthews. Just wide. It happens quick, doesn't it? Geez, Willie.

01:36:01

Shot.

01:36:01

Oh, I like that shot, actually. Off the side of the net or stop by Shasturkin. Doesn't matter. Rangers get it down with 20 seconds to go. And you might as well put whatever your next line is out. Forget the second unit. Riley's out there. Michael Borland if Leafs walk at year's end, or, sorry, if Marner walks at year's end. Do you throw that doe at Shasturkin? No, but it's tempting.

01:36:30

Domi in front.

01:36:32

No leaf there. Here come the Rangers. Partial three on two. Cooley. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Stolar stops it. Domi takes out his man, ignores the puck and yeah, of course they call it true. Was just laughing at him. Of course they call that max. Of course they call it McCabe. Just completely abandoning Anthony Stollers. That's just a really crappy end of the shift. The refs let the Leafs get away with two cross checks before calling the third. It's not a bad call. It's kind of a dumb penalty to take, dude. Minute 53 to go in the second. Least penalty kill. Rangers win the face off with an opportunity to go up. Three. Nothing here. That could be bad. Tan of big shot block stolen with the save. And goodness gracious. Tanf. Oh boy. Tanf getting helped off the ice by Stephen Lorenz. Outside of the knee. And he's heading straight off. Oh, no. Hopefully just a nerve. Oh, geez. Puck is dropped. A minute 42 to go in the second. That's a big loss for the Leafs if they don't get him back. Hopefully Tan is back in the third. Rangers down low. They flub it though.

01:38:41

McCabe off the glass and way out. Oh, off the. Out of bounds, but off the glass. Minute 29 to go in the second. Minute 36 to go in this. Rangers power play.

01:39:05

Shots.

01:39:05

And even 1818. Rangers up to nothing dawns less second. Cassie. Leafs trying to keep me from growing my cult tonight. Yes. Seriously. Face off. Puck is dropped. Oh, boy. Marner and Matthews out there for the Leafs as well as Benoit and Timmons. Rangers on through traffic wide. Zabanajad with it. Marner picks it off. Marners look. Sharpen Matthews. He's going one on three here. Just dumps it in behind the net. Minute twelve to go in this power play. 104 to go in the second. Some good individual performances on the Leafs tonight, but for the most part, a lot of room for improvement. And the Rangers are a good squad. Man, they're moving it real well. Leafs tying them up behind the net. Crider freeze it to Paneran Fox. Panerin trocheck.

01:40:07

Zabanajat on.

01:40:08

Blocked by Timmons.

01:40:09

Oh, what a pass. What a block.

01:40:12

Here come the Leafs, two on two. Nice with it. He has Holmberg with him. Nice cutting to the middle. Tries to get it to Holmberg. Nice trying to get it back for himself.

01:40:21

Great kill by Nies.

01:40:23

25 seconds to go in the second period they have taken. There it is. Oh, a stolen stolar skate. Blade is off.

01:40:36

How is the play going?

01:40:38

Oh, shoot. I don't know if the Rangers know. Under 5 seconds to go. Camp off the boards and out. Geez. Real fortunate end of the second there. Solar's loses escape Blade and the Leafs lose tanf. Real, real difficult second period there. And Solar's just trying to tell the ref like, dude, I can't do anything. Yeah. So the Leafs are helping stolars off the ice. Fans in attendance are probably thinking stolars is hurt. So Stolars was holding his foot up to be like, no, I'm fine, I'm fine. At least that's what I'm going to tell myself. He was saying, goodness gracious. Beatle maniac. Gifted. Ten SCP and memberships.

01:41:44

Let's go.

01:41:46

We love that here on the STPN YouTube channel. My name is Steve Dangle Saturday night? Watch along. Hey, can I tell you something selfishly? As long as we're talking about me asking you for money. Hockey, rants and raves. This book is one of the top canadian non fiction books in the country. It's one of the top hockey books in the country. It might be the top hockey book in the country. And that's by sales. That's not me telling you it's the best. That is, the public telling you is the best. That is currently, as far as I know, outselling Mike Keenan, NASM cadre. Both those guys have Stanley Cups. Matt Sundidin's book doesn't come out for another few days. We're on the Toronto Star bestsellers list at number nine. We're on the Globe and Mail bestsellers list at number nine. And this book only came out four days ago. I will not rest, I will not stop doing tour dates, telling you about this book, and hawking this thing until we are number one. Number one in canadian nonfiction. That's what I'm going for. So if you would like to buy the hardcover of hockey, rants and raves.

01:43:03

The ebook, the audiobook, I gotta tell you, is way better than my first one. I like my first one, but I did a better job in the second one. I didn't know until I heard it. If you would like to buy any of those things, it would be appreciated. Link in the description. You can get it off Indigo chapters, Amazon, audible, I think Spotify, Apple. It's everywhere. Couple quick things from the super chats before we. Sorry, my neck. Before we get to a clip, Death Eater top guys paid too much for us to be shut out again. You know what I don't want is for the Leafs to be three and two. Like, if they lose the Rangers, they're three and two. But people are like, yeah, but the two losses are shutouts. That's gonna be annoying. So please score. Ideally, please win. 23 plaster. This is a mess. Horrible period. And an even worse game so far. Next practice gonna be a nightmare if they don't find a way. I mean, they've had worse games than this. They've had worse 40 minutes than this, but, yeah, they don't look very good. And watching from home and watching from the game, everyone seems to be in agreement.

01:44:25

We're gonna go to the SDP with Frank Corrado, right? Yes, sir. So enjoy that clip. Producer Hayden, take it away.

01:44:38

I can't believe. Okay, if it's leaf specific.

01:44:41

Doesn't have to be.

01:44:42

Okay. It doesn't have. I can't believe the Colorado avalanche. I mean, look at all the guys that are hurt there. So I guess it kind of does make sense, but I didn't expect them to be owing for didn't expect Nashville to be owing for. Just with all the buzz around those guys, Toronto centric, I kind of expected Joseph Wall to be available like you had all summer to be ready and, you know, not ready, clearly. So just, yeah, I think there's, there's a few things that have kind of caught us by surprise, but. And I guess Edmonton just kind of getting off to a slow start, although, like, think about the emotional high or, you know, how draining that would have been going all the way to the finals and losing in game seven. You know, how do you find that energy in the early going of the season? But, yeah, it's been interesting and I don't know, there's just, there's a lot of storylines. Tampa Bay is pretty good. Have you seen that? It was funny. I was talking to someone in Vancouver and they were talking about the game because the Canucks just played them and they were talking about Vasilevsky.

01:45:41

And I'm like, yeah, welcome to the Atlantic division, where you have to play Vasilevsky and Bobrovsky and Suyman and who am I missing and all?

01:45:51

Mark now has his own team.

01:45:54

Welcome to the Atlantic, my friend. You do it twice a year. So, yeah, it's, it's interesting.

01:46:01

The Joseph Wall thing is very interesting because things are going so well in Toronto where we're winning and there's no real problems. Imagine if trelliving didn't go out and get stolars and, you know, prefer not to. It was a dire situation where you have, like, Matt Murray and Hildebe who have to hold the net down while we wait for Joseph Walda become healthy.

01:46:20

How about this? Like, okay, he picked the right goalie, too. Yeah. Like, what if he signed, you know, it's early, but what if it was the Lankanin or Kakkonen or it's like they pick the right guy with. Yeah, exactly. They picked the right guy with Stolar. So I think that's, you know, that's a credit to them. And, like, his numbers have been really good. The only thing that would have maybe spooked you off is that, you know, prior to, you know, let's call it the last couple of years, he had been hurt. You know, 27 games is the most that he played, and you're theoretically putting him in a situation where, you know, he's got to play 30 to 35 plus. Even if Joseph Wall is healthy. Right. So that's the only thing that maybe would have spooked you. But they've picked the right guy. So credit to them for identifying him.

01:47:04

Yeah.

01:47:04

Brussel got injured at the end of August.

01:47:07

Was it like, imagine hurt, too? Colorado claimed him on waivers from Winnipeg because Georgiev is. Has like the worst goal save above expected in the history of the game. You know, and. And they wanted this, the Kakkon. And he's hurt. He's on the IR like everyone else. So. You're right, Jesse. Like, there's guys already getting hurt that were supposed to be goaltending answers for other teams.

01:47:29

They're one signing away from this being a disaster start in Toronto.

01:47:34

Yeah. Well, what do you mean?

01:47:37

But it's not. But it's not.

01:47:38

What do you.

01:47:39

That's a very me thing to say. Not though, I know we want to stay current here, but when you were talking about Vasilevsky, it's like people forgot how good he is. And welcome to the Atlantic. Was there ever a. Just a miracle goalie performance that either happened for a team that you were playing for or against the team you were playing for? Where just for those 60 minutes, that goalie decided, I am Goddesse.

01:48:05

Oh, my God. Yeah, there is one. There's one. There's a couple in the minors that stick out. I got to get this guy's name. He played for the Providence Bruins and he played in the NHL a little bit. And this would have been 2017. 2018. We played them in the first round of the playoffs. I was. I was out after game one. Like, I had a high ankle sprain. The guy's name was Zane McIntyre. That was the goalie's name. It was. The first round in the AHL is like a gate. It's best of five.

01:48:32

Yeah.

01:48:32

Right. And so it's. It's game five. We were Wilkes, Barry, Scranton. Like, wire to wire. Best team on that side where you get Providence. And this guy in the last game put together a performance that, like, just. I don't know if he'll ever have that kind of performance again or if he ever, ever had that kind of performance again. Like, it was an absurd amount of shots in game five. And it's just like, it was probably just like an out of body experience for him.

01:48:58

Do you have Zane McIntyre's numbers there?

01:49:00

I don't even know Zane McIntyre.

01:49:03

DB.

01:49:04

I'm looking right now in the playoffs, like, you got to find the playoff game log and.

01:49:09

Or a.

01:49:10

No, this would be Ahl.

01:49:12

Okay.

01:49:13

Playoffs so, like, 2018 Calder cup playoffs.

01:49:16

Pulling them up.

01:49:17

I just want to know if he did anything in his career.

01:49:19

Okay. Regular season plus post or 20.

01:49:21

2017. 2017 Calder cup playoffs.

01:49:24

I know.

01:49:24

I'm chopping it up right now.

01:49:25

Providence Bruins Wild.

01:49:27

Okay, well, he had an. He had a 914 in the regular season.

01:49:31

50 50 saves on 51 shots in game five. Yeah, it was. It was April 30, 2017. It was 50 saves on 51 shots on the road and a 980 save percentage in a decisive game. Five. Like, what do you.

01:49:49

What do you do?

01:49:49

Game of his life.

01:49:51

He played eight total games. And they came after that. They came the season after that. He's currently in the wild system, but an 858 save percentage at the NHL level. 3970. Four and one. Is he never got a win.

01:50:07

The eight.

01:50:08

Yeah. Has he not yet got a win?

01:50:10

I don't get it.

01:50:10

Isn't that nuts?

01:50:11

I don't get it, man.

01:50:12

On that night. On that night, that guy was, like, in a different stratosphere. Yeah, exactly.

01:50:17

Wow, that's cool.

01:50:19

I like that.

01:50:19

Colorado bound caught, maybe.

01:50:22

Now, Frankie, I brought up the bad side of the Pittsburgh Penguins, which is the goaltending Tristan Jarideh and all that. So we've kind of talked about that on the show.

01:50:30

I want to talk about the good.

01:50:31

Side, which is Gino passing. You get the 500 goals, you got the 1300 points, and 1600. Oh, yeah, Crosby got 1600. But I want to talk about Gino, because Gino's leading the league in points along with their tempe Panaran right now. And, you know, you played with Gino. What's the guy like to play with?

01:50:51

It's a. It's a great question because I was nothing, like, exactly established there in Pittsburgh. Like, I would get called up, I would hang around for a couple weeks, maybe play a game, maybe not go back to Wilkes, Barry come back, and so, like, I don't even think he really knew my name or anything like that. You know, we were just kind of, like teammates in law at that point.

01:51:13

I like that.

01:51:14

But, like, see you again, Franklin.

01:51:16

I don't even think it was that, but, like, um, so, so good with his stick. Like, this is what would always freaked me out in practice. Like, you kind of think you have him, and it almost looks casual, and it's like, bang, bang, and he got through you. Or, like, he made this slick little pass. Like, he was so good at, like, making it seem like maybe he had let his guard down a little bit or it looked casual, and then it just. In a second, it was like, whoa. I did not see that coming. Like, very, very elusive, very slippery that way. He's an interesting guy because, like, he's. He's interesting in the room. Like, he's upbeat. Like, he's always kind of wanting to be in whatever joke is being said or whatever. And there's obviously, you know, at the card table, he would hang around with some of those guys, and he would always be one of the loudest guys there. But, yeah, like, I kind of think, you know, it's funny now watching him do what he's doing. Remember when they did the top 100 players? Correct me if I'm wrong, not in that he was not in the top 100 players.

01:52:18

And I think he made the joke. He's like, yeah, it was actually 101. And here he is at age, like, what is he, 37 now? And he's turning back the clock. He looks good. Like, he looks like he's got a half step more than he had last year, which is great news for the Penguins because they need. They need him.

01:52:34

He played a full 82 last year, had 67 points. He's played five this year. He has eleven.

01:52:41

That's a.

01:52:41

That's a big jump.

01:52:42

I was. I was trying to look it up. He has 500 goals. Did you assist on any of them?

01:52:47

No, I don't think I got an assist with the Penguins. Maybe in practice, but even, you know, it's funny, though. It's funny. Like, he could drive. I think he's so good, right. But I think he could drive that coach crazy at times. You know? Like, Sully is so regimented and detail oriented, and, you know, malkin's free flowing. Right? Like I said, like, can look casual at times and then really turns it on. And so I think there's. I would imagine there have been a few gray hairs on Sully's head over the years, but you have to take the good with the bad. Like the guy. You guys won two Stanley Cups together. And let me ask you this, and this would be like, you'd have to go down memory lane here. Number one, center. Number two, center, two headed monster. Where would Crosby and Malkin rank on that all time in the NHL as far as the best. One two punch, two headed monster.

01:53:46

Well, you have Gretzky. Messier.

01:53:48

Messier.

01:53:48

Right.

01:53:49

I would think. Because it was Ted Lindsay a center or was he a winger? Because I think how you're going back.

01:53:57

That far, this is the thing. Well, and then you got to go back to, like, the seventies. Canadians.

01:54:01

Yes.

01:54:01

Right. Islanders.

01:54:04

Early eighties. Islanders.

01:54:05

Yeah, exactly.

01:54:06

Yeah.

01:54:06

But I think there's like, if you're a hockey historian, that's a very interesting. And it's going to be subjective. Different air eras and all that stuff. But like, as far as the modern era goes, have we ever seen a better two headed monster than that? Like a saddle.

01:54:20

McDavid dry saddle.

01:54:21

Yeah.

01:54:22

And that hasn't played out.

01:54:23

They got much time. They got a win.

01:54:25

They got one.

01:54:26

You got three cups with Crosby and Malkin. You know, it's not really.

01:54:29

They also, Crosby Malkin has have been one and two more often or for a bigger percentage of their career than McDavid dry silo. Like, because they played together a lot. Yeah.

01:54:40

Yeah.

01:54:41

Right. So I. Boy, they're definitely top ten. Likely top five.

01:54:48

Yeah, likely top five. It would have to be top five, I would think.

01:54:50

Yeah, they're stupid.

01:54:52

And three cups together, all those individual awards and like, you know, sid still doing it. Gino still doing it. I know they're not like team's not a contender, but I mean, so far the early returns on Gino this year looks really good.

01:55:06

Not a contender. Don't tell them that.

01:55:08

The NHL did release a list of every player who assisted on Evgeny Malkin's 500 career goals. It's 113 players. And I can confirm you are nothing.

01:55:26

Frank Carrado.

01:55:27

What a beauty.

01:55:28

And you're a beauty. Let me, let me adjust. Let me adjust. I like, I like smack to my whole setup by accident when I was sitting back down. Steve Dangle here on the SDPN YouTube channel Saturday night. Watch along Leafs, Rangers, leafs down to nothing to the Rangers. We don't like that. But let me tell you what we do like Cassie. Leader of the Cassie clan says, finally got my Rachel's Raiders donation to go through. I've been getting a ton of emails. I get an email every single time someone donates to Rachel's Raiders. So let me go through them. Nathan Pite, thank you for your donation. Tony Lee, vito Lambda. Tyler Smith. Nicole Kenkro. Nicole Bouchard. We just got. We're cornering the market on Nicole's and cassie, I'm not going to expose your last name, last name clan donating to Rachel's Raiders. Let me go to the team page. Oh, and I want to shout out Daniel Gilbert, who donated to producer Hayden's page on Rachel's Raiders. Producer Hayden is going to be playing with us. Oh, and so did your mom. But we don't. Okay, shout out our goalie, jeremy pearl, who is really good and works at Sportsnet and I have given him the goalie nickname, the pearly gates, which I think is clever as hell.

01:57:18

I think he might hate it, but I don't know. Rachel's Raiders has eleven team members. We're going to have to increase that number. 266 donations so far. That is huge. We are up to $13,305.75 on the tournament. That puts us in first place, but by under $1,000. TD wealth is up there. So, flyers, there's 13 teams now, which has increased, and I, as a personal fundraiser, am only in third. Do not tell me I am at risk of losing this.

01:58:10

The Jerry Coughlin.

01:58:12

Coughlin. Coughlin.

01:58:13

The Jerry Coughlin cup.

01:58:15

This goes to the top fundraiser of the Eric Lindra celebrity hockey classic every year. And this is not a trophy I own. People think this is part of the set. No, it's just because we always win.

01:58:31

We always crush it.

01:58:33

I have drank out of this thing. The cause and cure for most diseases live in the on the lip of that cup. I want to keep it in my room. Gosh darn it. So thank you, everybody, for helping with the big donations. I can't see how much everybody donated. So if you donated a big amount of money and it seems like I'm ungrateful, it's because I can't see. Oh, Justin Fisher, some stats on that black and white Frank Nazar rookie card that we pulled earlier. That black and white parallel. They appear once in every 144 packs on average. Very rare. Awesome. And that's just that type of card. A Frank Nazer one. Like, that's got to be a pretty good one. We have another Rachel's Raiders donation, this one from Shane Jackson, Peter Korsten. Oh, a bunch of them just came in. Dean and Hannah Thibodeau, Vince Pettisano. Thank you. Puck is dropped for the third period. Leafs kill off the dregs of the penalty that they had to kill there. Oh, a leaf and a ranger collided there and they both looked injured. No tan of on the bench. Stoler's just got hit pretty hard.

02:00:19

McCabe going after his man in front, trying to get Trocheck to drop him. Trochak's not going to do it. He's just going to smile because that's kind of what he does. Lafreniere looking shaken up. Who did he collide with? And also, Noteano on the bench sucks a lot. Cassie says, I appreciate that. Thank you. Thank you. Domi and Lafrenier go down. That was the collision. Dave Glatz's. Love you, Cassie. You're the best. I agree. Gene Semmler, he. Steve, I flipped over to the Canucks game during intermission. And you may be happy to know JT Miller is back in the game. And he's a plus one right now. Let's go. Plus minus doesn't count in my pool, but that's good news. Crider. Behind the net. Spenny. V dubs. Go, Leafs, go. My friend's little brother is Charlie Drysdale. He's put on a lot of weight. Hope the Leafs can come back tonight. I do too. Leafs are offside right now.

02:01:21

Get back on time.

02:01:23

Adam Fox to Zabanajad. Oh, boy. Really complacent play from Zabanajad. Max Naomi takes it to Nylander. Shot up and over Shasturkin just. Durkin's made some crazy saves tonight. Nylander wide to Matthews. Nylander staying out there long. And now he's got to be hard on the back. Check here. And we got a whistle. Is that a hand pass?

02:01:56

Oh, Tanf is coming back onto the bench way.

02:02:01

Hooray. Christmas isn't canceled just based on his reaction. I thought he was fine. No, I will not be expanding on that. I thought he was fine. And that is it. Stolers was out of the net to play at Matthews. Sorry. I got to tell you, when the puck is dropped. Bad Steve. Rangers into the corner. Rangers with it. True ba that goes into the corner to stole their blocker side. Matthews tries to give it to nice. Doesn't work. Nice has to chase after it. Heedle in his own zone. James David Atkinson. No wonder we are losing. One of the refs is number 67.

02:02:57

Well, damn.

02:02:59

That'll do it. Jake McCabe up the ice for Nick Robertson. Streaking shot. Major Sterkin work for it. That's a decent save. Oel blocked by Remp. Least having to chase after it in their own end.

02:03:18

Remp falls down, takes out his own guy.

02:03:21

And the Leafs are going to be able to at least push it out of the zone. Rempy. Yeah, he's out there to kill. He misses a lot of his hits. But when they connect, they're. They're tough.

02:03:36

Ah.

02:03:36

Carrick tries to put it in front for Rempy. Rempy with a behind the leaf's net. McCabe can barely knock him off stride. Stoler spokes it off him. Rempe without a stick. Robertson and Tavares. Robertson at the end of a shift, chips it down low for Tavares. Tavares spins off his man. Kiandre Miller comes up with it. Here come the Rangers. Trochek hands it off to Lafrenier shots up by stolers. Thought he covered it up. He didn't. Timmons up the ice. Not up the ice enough.

02:04:20

That one's up the ice enough. Nylander driving the net. Tucks it. Oh, stop by shasturkin.

02:04:26

But there's a rebound play.

02:04:28

Stays alive. Nylander prevents the breakout temporarily. The Rangers will ice the puck 1630.

02:04:35

Rather to go in the third period. Nylander frustrated. Just Durkin playing awesome. That's a good save, man. Holy ty Smith. Adam wants you to notice him. Senpai Steve. Well, Adam, how about you become a vip? Oh, Nylander broke his stick. Jesse put a photo up on the stream.

02:05:07

Oh. And the leaf score. Austin Matthews with a second of the season gets the Leafs on the board. You distracted me, you silly geets. I noticed Austin before you, Adam. And the captain on the team's 20th shot finally solves justerkin. The Leafs are on the board now.

02:05:31

Down just two, one in the third period. What happens here? It's at the point. Matthews collects it behind the Rangers net, fights off.

02:05:39

Adam Fox drives to the front and scores on his own. Yuck. That is a man's goal. A goal scorer's goal. A captain's goal.

02:05:54

The Leafs only down one now. Cassie gifting five STPN memberships because the Leaf scored. And Jesse Blake watching this stream from the Leafs press box. You love to see it. Chris Tanf on the ice. You love to see it. Rangers with the puck. You hate it. Gloved by stolers. You love it. Ekman Larson with his fourth assist of the season on that one. Nice. Picking up a secondary assist for his first assist of the season. That. That assist is a bit of a gift. Oel putting it down low, I could see as the primary, but. Oh, Matthews, he had like a puck sized area to put or a puck sized gap to put that puck through. Yuck. Robert. Bet. Can we call Tan of the next great eight? I think we just call him the great eight. That nickname isn't taken. Let's do it. Insignificant. Nick, I bought your book at Indigo. And as an ebook too, because I'm a simp for you. Steve. I love you. Stop by stolars 1537 to go in the third 4th ish line on the ice camp with McMahon and Nylander.

02:07:09

McMahon stopped by.

02:07:11

Shasturkin. What's happening here? Ruby? Feeling spicy, Sherwin? Steve didn't read my earlier super chat and I'm sad. Hayden, can you find that while I watch the game? Sorry about that. He's on it. Holmberg for Reeves campfire. Behind the net. All Lorenz was with John Tavares and Holmberg down in the fourth line. Very interesting. Stallers up the ice. Is this going to be icing? Yes, it is. 1448 to go in the third period. Reeves on the ice. This is a tough icing here, Nylander. There was a nice pass there to McMahon. Love you, Jesse. Do us proud. Ask a question tonight. Get in there. Get those hands dirty. Rangers win the face off in the Leafs offensive zone. Rather, in the leave zone. It's the Rangers offensive zone. Rangers put it on. Stop by stolers. Timmons. Oh, boy. Can't get it out. Fights to get it back off Panera and gets it to Benoit. That's a nice little play there from Timmons. Tavares, who has not been an $11 million player tonight, to say the least.

02:08:45

Helps get it off ruidle, though.

02:08:48

It's Tavares. Nice. Marner, but Tavares going off. Matthews coming on. Marner attacking. Nice. Attacking Marner.

02:09:00

Nice. Takes it off.

02:09:04

Gets it to Marner.

02:09:05

Matthews is in front to Matthews. Oh, puck goes through, but it doesn't go in. Ah.

02:09:14

And icing against the Rangers. 1352 to go in the third period from Sherwin. Thank you, producer Hayden, for finding this. Hey, Steve, I just watched your interview with. I did read this. Read it again. Hey, Steve, I just watched your interview with. You'll never make it. My band just recorded. Oh, I didn't read this. I'm sorry. Um, my band just recorded a new song in that exact room two weeks ago, and Ross was one of my teachers when I went to music school. Sherwin. That makes me feel old because Ross was also in school with me as a classmate. It's a really cool studio, though, in the east end. Marner with it. 1336 to go in the third period. Riley at the point, down low for Marner.

02:10:01

Martin Matthews. Ah, stop by shasturk.

02:10:04

And Matthews with it.

02:10:06

Ah.

02:10:08

Zabanajad with it. Matthews tries to take it off him. It's down low. Riley gonna have to beat crider to it. Oh, nifty pass. Rangers can't hold his own. Marner chasing after it. Ah, Kiandre Miller flubbed it for a sec. Being chased. Sadeen, magic solar's mask is so cool. I do like it. I don't usually like shiny stuff, but that guy keeps stopping pucks the way he's stopping pucks. He can wear whatever he wants. Benoit with a behind the Leafs net. Tavares up the ice. Lorenz out there with Tavares and Robertson. Benoit deep Robertson Lawrence. Ah, tries to drop it for Tavares, who is not there. Robertson chasing after it. Sam Kerik in his own end. Rangers off the boards and out. It's in the neutral zone. There was a whistle there. And we're going into commercial break. Man, that was a great pass from Marner. He's played great. I didn't love his first two games. He's been great ever since. Commercial break. Nathan Bula, who's an SDP vip. Welcome to the crew. Ross. As in Ross. Hey, Citrillo was my bandmates roommate a couple years ago. Your bandmates roommate? Okay, sorry. Sorry. This took a second.

02:11:46

Was he cool? Did he stink? More donations to Rachel's Raiders. Nicholas Denicola. That's a name. That's a name. Thank you for your donation to Rachel's Raiders and Easter seals and Vincent, Jeffrey. Vincent, Jeffrey. Thank you for your donations to Easter Seals on Taddeo. Updated scoreboard. I'm a little over a thousand behind first place as an individual. But more importantly, Rachel's Raiders as a team is now almost a $1,000 in the lead. $13,502.51 behind TD wealth, who has $12,596 and 23 centicles. Well, nope. Won't say centicles again. Jesse, if you're watching, ask Chris Tanf about his leg. Ask John Tavares about the amulet. Matthews talking to Mark Svarna on the bench, waiting for a whistle here. Maybe talk to Stephen Lawrence about getting promoted to Tavares line. Talk to Bobby McMahon about the puck exchange with the little girl before the game. Domi on the face off, loses it. McMahon tripped. Fans want to call. It's not going to happen. I mean, it's not really. It's not the kind of trip that is traditionally called off the glass. Rangers come up with it, they get it low. Oh, weird bounce to Timmons. Another weird bounce to Benoit.

02:14:03

Up the boards. That's not a weird bounce. It's just a giveaway. Rangers with it. Truba, cross ice to Schneider.

02:14:12

Blocked.

02:14:13

Nylander and McMahon are away. McMahon. Puck is not behaving for him. It's behind the net now. Knee lander taken down. Stolars hurt again. Or solar's hurt. Wait, what happened? Uh oh. What happened? Okay, okay. Stolars doesn't look hurt. Oh, no, not a cut. Uh oh. I think someone might have stepped on him. Was that heel Brubey producer Hayden saying, like, someone stepped on a buckle? Like, is he gonna need to get the pad replaced or. Oh, okay, so he'll stick, goes. Oh, yeah, that would have hurt. Geez. It went under stoler's buckle, and that would have, like, dragged right up his sock. Yeah, probably hurt. Not hurt enough to injure him, but probably sucked. He's going to stay in the game. No problem. We're good. 1136 to go in the third period. Tony Lee. If the Leafs tie it, who scores? Nylander. He's been too close too many times. Speaking of which, off the face, off William Nylander. McMahon wide ten of. I lost the puck and loses the zone. So he's got a scamper back. By the way, a word that you hear more in hockey than other sports. Scamper. Really good word. Nilander tries to go cross ice to Tanf.

02:16:24

Doesn't work. Tanf goes around for Nylander. It hops on him.

02:16:29

Oh. McMahon holds his own, though. Oh, Willie move.

02:16:34

Riley with it at the point. McMahon, down low for Matthews, in front, tries to find Willie. Doesn't work. Riley back for Willie. Ah, gives it away in the neutral zone. Tanf smartly off the boards. Matthews to Marner. Marner stops up on a bunch of deflections and into the glove of Igor Shasturkin. Because, of course, 1034 to go in the third period. Lots of time. Lots of time. Lots of time. Cassie said, hey, I'm near the top of the Rachel's Raiders honor roll. Well, gosh darn it, I'm gonna have to see that. Where is the honor roll? Oh, 350 smack a roof. Well, goodness gosh gracious. Thank you very much, Cassie. That is wonderful. Oh, how do you react to that? Matthews in for the face off against trocheck. He gets kicked out from Marner. Or is it Marner? Yeah, it's marnerous. In the ranger zone, puck is dropped in a winger win for the Leafs. On stop by the blocker of Shasturkin. Matthews down low for nice. 1025 to go in the third period. 10, 22, 21. Oel Matthews behind the net. Boy, it seems like this top line doesn't leave the ice. Marner curling back, stripped by Fox as a good play by Fox.

02:18:25

Panerin Marner complaining about something. Concentrate on the play. Bud Lafrenier puts it on gloved I by stolers. And with 947 to go in the third period, the Rangers will get an offensive zone draw. Matthews with the emphatic f. Yes. Steve Dangle here.

02:18:50

F. Yeah.

02:18:51

On the STP and YouTube channel Saturday night. Watch along LFR. Come in later on the Steve Dangle YouTube channel, will Gallo said, hi, Steve. Hello, William. Hi, Steve. Are there any bookstores in Michigan carrying the new book. Love the offseason content. Excited to be a vip for the regular season.

02:19:14

Thank you.

02:19:16

So, I don't know. The problem is, like, with YouTube, I'm, like, very obsessed with numbers, everything. Growing up as a digital content creator, I get to be. I get to see everything. And when you write a book, you get to see nothing. So, like, I don't even know who sells the thing. I know, Barn. Like, some Barnes and nobles have it. The best thing to do is call up your local bookstore or the bookstore closest to you, or the two or three bookstores closer closest to you. Ask if they have it. And if they do have it, great. Go buy it. If they don't have it, ask them if they would consider stocking it. And if they tell you no, well, then get it off Amazon. Cassie, I tried to do 400, but my bank pinged it as fraud. I think your bank is a fraud. How dare they? Out of town scoreboard. Islanders, two Canadians. Two Canucks are up. Three nothing on the Flyers. Kraken and flames at 10:00 Eastern. Puck in the leave zone for a face off. 947 to go in the third. Puck is dropped. Leafs come up with it. Holmberg, who's now in the fourth line.

02:20:57

Oh, boy. You got to get that over the blue line. Bud Holmberg might sit. He might sit on Monday. He's had a horrible game. I know Robertson appears to be in that conversation, and he hasn't exactly been special tonight, but, boy, homeburg's really struggled. And now he's not even playing center. He gets it to Reeves, though. Reeves down low for camp. Homeberg can change the narrative with a goal here. That'd be cool. Or even just a solid shift. He curls off a truba. Yuck. Rangers ice it, though. 901 to go in the third period. Xbox says hi, Steve. Hi. Thank you for that. You're lovely, Cassie. Probably because it's in canadian dollars would be my best guess. I don't know. Never try to figure out technology. I don't know. 901 to go in the third. Ozone draw for the Leafs. Bobby McMahon. Muscles Jacob. Truba Domi comes up with it to the point. Oel down low to Nylander. Hooks it across.

02:22:23

Riley. Oh. Rebound. Rebound again. Shasturkin. Fabulous. Fabulous game.

02:22:32

843 to go in the third period. 28 shots for the Leafs. One of them has found their way behind Igor Shasturkin. This second line, except for that awful shift where they gave up. I believe it was the. Was it the first or the second goal of the game? They gave up a goal. Other than that one awful shift, they've looked pretty good. Nylander loses the face off. Oh, Domi almost steals it off. Miller almost isn't good enough. Here comes Adam Fox. That's an icing call. Unforced error there for the Rangers. 833 to go in the third. MkI Sports thanks for whoever gave me a membership. Present day how proud are you of credentialed media member Jesse Blake? Unbelievably proud. Rangers win that face off and it's an important one.

02:23:37

Stolen.

02:23:38

Oh boy. Had to shank that puck away from streaking. Chris Crider, who still got the wheels. Oelvere does not get to that puck first. Crider behind the net. Rangers at the point. Oh, nice. Great pressure there on Miller. And Miller broke his stick and he.

02:23:57

Can'T get one from the bench.

02:24:00

Rangers trying to say it hit the netting. Leafs. Ah. Marner tries to kick it. Ah.

02:24:13

Benoit on rebound. Matthews backhand stop by shasturkin. McCabe on deflection. Nice puck doesn't get through.

02:24:22

Matthews again.

02:24:24

Oh boy. What a move. Tripped. And that'll be a penalty. Truba stick under Matthews feet. And with 735 to go in the third period, the Leafs get a power play. What a shift. And it all starts with the pressure of Matthew. Nice.

02:24:48

Oh man. Yeah. Jacob Truba tripping and I mean, that's.

02:24:59

Not even Matthew selling it.

02:25:02

Geeze, Dave Glatz. Can we get a victory? Puppy stuffy. You sort of do with this stuffy. 735 to go in the third. Two minutes on the power play here. The Leafs over two on the power play tonight. Five shots though. I don't think they've looked that bad. Tavares for the draw against the band a jad. And Tavares falls down. He gets kicked out. Matthews will take the draw. Matthews, where's the puck? Rangers get it out. Good effort there. 7262-524-2322 left. Matthews into the Ranger zone. Wide for Tavares. Tavares tries to get it through to Marner. Doesn't quite work. Marner with it behind the net.

02:26:13

Tavares shot.

02:26:14

I don't know if that got all the way through. Rangers clear it. Oel with it in the neutral zone. I'm so excited. I just realized I was sitting cross legged in my computer chair. How old do I think I am? Tavares. Ah. Puck slapped off his stick. He has not had a good night. Stole. There's way out of his net to play it.

02:26:35

Gives it to Tavares.

02:26:37

Drops it for Willie. Willie drops it to a ghost, I guess.

02:26:42

Horrible.

02:26:47

Oel with it. Halfway through this power play. 630 to go in the third. Leafs down a goal. Domi tries to hook it. Rangers clear it again. This Leafs have had a couple decent power plays in this game. This one ain't one of them. Riley leaves it for Nick Robertson. 36 seconds ago in this power play. Robertson loses the handle. Has to dump it. Oh.

02:27:17

Puck squirts in front. Robertson stopped by Shasturkin. What a fortuitous bounce. Domi down overnight. What a move. Oh, if he scored that. Oh, I want to sign him tonight. Robertson. Robertson again.

02:27:34

Riley at the point. Robertson, long shot 10 seconds ago in this power play. Domi down low. Nice. Down low as well. Robertson, cotton. No man's land. The Rangers dump it. Oh, great end to that power play. 530 to go in the third. Giggling cats. SDP vip ad free. Also an option on our channel. Edstrom in deep for the Rangers.

02:28:06

Oh, boy. Give away Ed Strom. Oh, wide.

02:28:11

Geez. Who is that? Lawrence appears to be back on the fourth line. Kako with it. Five minutes to go in the third period. Reeves getting a real late shift here.

02:28:30

Stolars loses a stick.

02:28:34

Uh oh. Uh oh.

02:28:37

Uh ah.

02:28:40

Puck goes through the crease. Here comes Reeves. He dumps it. Oof. 432-31-3029. Rangers up the ice. Rangers with some offense here to end the game. Well, late in the game. Marner to nice gain center. Dumps it. Shasturkin out of his net to play it. That's okay. Truba rims it around for laugh. Gets it to trocheck. These guys are good. Man. Offside. 403 to go in the third period. As of three minutes ago, Austin Matthews had nine shots on goal tonight.

02:29:40

Wow.

02:29:45

Robert Malloy has alerted us that the Sabers are over 19 on the power play. Who the hell is their power play? Coach? Some more Rachel's Raiders donations. Oh, Rob Groan. Oh, the flying Dutchman. Thank you kindly. Aaron Rothschild just sponsored you. Thank you. Thank you. Sorry if I seem thrown off there. I tasted what tasted suspiciously like blood. Hmm. If this game goes to overtime, I might not survive it. Tony Lee, I think nice needs the bump to pp one. Do you replace Tavares with nyes? Because I think about it,

02:31:27

Tyson Burnett is Robertson. This season's Bertuzzi. I don't know if that's a compliment or not. Bertuzzi was every player for the Leafs last year. He was great. He was terrible. He was irreplaceable. He was invisible. He was a liability. He was irreplaceable. Leafs win the face off. 401 four minutes, 359. 58 to go in the third period. Down a goal. 14 shots so far in this third period alone. Willie holds it at the point.

02:32:02

Fires it on.

02:32:03

Stop by Schuster. Can. It's in the corner. McCabe behind the net for Domi. Truba. Takes it off him. Oh, yell gets it. Puts it on. Blocked by escape show.

02:32:11

Cheeky knee, lander. Oh, stop by Shasturkin. Unbelievable.

02:32:17

This guy's trying to earn a contract tonight. Nylander should have a hat trick. Like it's unbelievable. 320. 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14. Up the ice. Fox being chased by David Kampf. What the. What is this, Craig? What is this camp out there with Holmberg and Lorenz? Okay, here come the Rangers. Lafreniere. Boy, the Rangers better not score here. Whoa.

02:33:00

Lorenz with a decent hit on Panerin.

02:33:04

Trocheck with a shot. Not sure where that went. Lafrenier to the point. Boy, if this shift goes bad, Baruba is going to have some explaining to do. Lafreniere. Oh. Stolar's taken out in front. Geez. Rangers not shy about getting in Solar's kitchen. Rangers catch the lease on a line change. Paneran cross past to Lafrenier. Doesn't work. Geez. The Leafs need to get a line change here. 216 to go in the third period. Oel dumps it. Shasturkin out of the net to play it. Matthews pursuing Marner. Holds it at the point. Throws it on. Blocked by Truba. Oh, boy. Rangers get a lucky bounce there. Ekman. Larson.

02:33:57

Oh, no.

02:33:59

Zabanajad. Partial break. Stopped by stolerse. 151 to go in the third period. Oh, that save on Willie was unreal. Oh, it hit his glove.

02:34:24

Bounced five hole and wide.

02:34:29

Ah. How many ten bellers has Justurkin had tonight? Four or five stolars has been very sharp, but Sterkin has been unbelievable. Face off in the leave zone.

02:34:43

Rangers come up with it.

02:34:44

They get a shot off Truba into the corner. Geez. The Leafs need to get it out, and they need to pull stolen. Marner.

02:34:55

Oh.

02:34:55

Gives it away behind the net. Oel makes up for it. Here come the Leafs. And I think there goes stolen. Nylander to marner to Nylander.

02:35:04

Shot blocker. Oh, Rangers almost threw it into their own net. Physically threw it buck down the ice, just wide of the Leafs net. And with a minute 20 to go.

02:35:15

In the third period, the Leafs will get an offensive zone face off. We like that. We love it. Cassie idea. Sorry, Cassie with the pod idea. Leafs early season superlatives. My brain is too dialed into this game to remember what superlatives means. Timeout, Toronto. Mark Savard drawn up a play. Sometimes I see Mark Savard, and I'm like, that guy taught me how to saucer pass. It's true. Robert Bett. I must be superhuman. The amount of heart attacks I have had by this team in the last 40 years. Why do I put myself through this? Because you're not dead, Robert. You're alive. That's why. You got to be alive to feel like you're dying. Never forget it. That's profound. Profound, profound, profound. Leafs face off win percentage. Fourth in the NHL, but it's like, barely above 50%. Giggling cat. Thank you for the super chat. And this is the Leafs last stab at tying this thing. Tavares for the face off. Domi Marner. Nylander. Oel Matthews. Interesting, interesting, interesting. Tavares wins it. Nylander. Oh, Nylander.

02:37:12

Ah.

02:37:13

Pass doesn't connect with Tavares. Oh, no. Take the puck off from Rangers. Dump it. Minute five to go in the third period here. Rangers empty netter. Chris Crider. Damn. 59.4 seconds to go in the third. It's not impossible, but it looks pretty bad. Boy, the Leafs a lot of low percentage feeds tonight. They're. They're showing the empty netter. I want to see what caused that whole play. Can you go further back? Willie broke his stick. He seems to be the most frustrated leaf on the ice tonight. And for good reason. That dude had a million chances. Ty Smith gifted another five STP and memberships. Thank you. Nielander just got high sticked in the face by Cooley icing against the Rangers 53.2 seconds ago in the third. Stolers is going to come back out. Thank you to Owen Reese for the Rachel's Raiders donation. By the way, I'm just happy to see Lafreniere didn't get an assist so I don't have to feel as stupid. Fantasy hockey. Tavares wins a draw.

02:38:51

Domi shot. Stop by the shoulder of Shasturkin.

02:38:54

That was a good shot. Just certain didn't know where that was. Leafs can't hold the zone. Riley around? Yeah, I. I don't think they're coming back, guys. Riley rims it around. Juster can out of the net to play it and my stream has froze. It came back and Panarin is going to get an empty netter. But he didn't slap it in. Which means Riley doesn't have to kick his ass. Panerin points in all five games. Did laugh get an assist on that one was laugh out there. Cooley. Put it out. Yeah. Damn. Should be a quick LFR, which means it's gonna be a long one. Two fourth lines out on the ice. No Reeves again. My stream is sticking again. It's happening on the live feed. Oh, you mean. Oh, so it's a Rogers thing. Okay, so it's not me. The New York Rangers pull off the win for one eager Shasturkin, 34 saves on 35 shots.

02:40:30

Pay that man his money.

02:40:34

Ty Smith with another five STPN memberships. Thank you. You jerkin Ty Smith. Hate the Leafs, but love you. Steve. No hard feelings. You'll never hate the more than a Leaf fan does. Just remember that, Cassie, you don't need to know. Like, most likely to get traded, most superstitious. I mean, I think Lilligran is going to get traded. I mean, that's got to be. That's got to be frustrating for Barubi. The one thing I will say is, like both games, the Leafs have lost this season out of five. I mean, it feels like they got robbed by the Coley both games. Sam Montanbault was unbelievable in that first game. Shasturkin was arguably better in this one, even though he faced fewer shots. I thought they were better ones. Oh, well, now, this is a test for young Jesse Blake because he gets to go down into the leaf dressing room as a credentialed member of the media for the first time for a loss. And I'm sure he already knows this, but there's going to be a different vibe in there than last week when they won. Matthew, two empty netters. Excuse it. Leafs look different this year.

02:42:13

Rangers with a better team. Shasturkin was great. Rangers with a better team. Four one makes it look a lot worse than it was. I'll meet you halfway there. Giggling cat teehee gifts. Ten STPN memberships. You are a Gemdez. We are up to 238 new members. 239 new members. That's a lot of new members.

02:42:38

That's so many new members.

02:42:44

The amount of members that we have is swelling.

02:42:48

Swollen members.

02:42:51

Canadian rap icons.

02:42:54

Well, good.

02:42:55

Gosh darn it, everybody. Well, to give you an idea of how this one might go, someone texted me. Holmberg is certainly a hockey player that exists. I'm pretty sure on Monday we're gonna see Max patch already. I don't know who's coming out, but me thinks the rotation continues. Hey, if you're on your way out, click like. Can't we all? I worked at the zoo with a dude who partied on their tour bus. But that is a story for another day, folks. That is it for this stream. Thank you very much for watching and enjoying with us. Thank you for all the donations to Rachel's raiders. Thank you for the likes. Thank you for the new memberships. Thank you for everything.
