How excited, scale of 1-10, are you about an international tournament?

I think it's eight. Yeah, I think that makes a lot of sense. This is so much better than the All-Star break. The All-Star break is great for when it's in your city, but watching the All-Star game, even when it was here, was a travesty. It's a disrespect to competitive hockey. They're trying out there for the skills competition because it's not hard to try in a skills competition, but it's not hockey. It's not that exciting unless you're there.

You know what's different about this and the All-Star break is they're going to try. Yeah. Which I think is really key. It's difficult to sell a product where the product doesn't give a shit about the product. If the players don't care, why should I? This, I think, is the way to go. It's just been a hell of a time getting the NHL to commit. It is an eight.

I'm a 10 out of 10. I've been excited since they mentioned it because, hell, yeah, international play, this is what I wanted. A lot of people didn't want this to work. I want tournaments inside the season to break the season up. So let's do something else. Let's play for some pride, let's play for some money, and let's have a good time.
