Barack Obama hits the trail in two big races, President Trump returns to 60 minutes, and new details emerge on a horrible string of stabbings in the UK. I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire executive editor, John Bickley. It's Monday, November 3, and this is Evening Wire.

Tomorrow is election day. We touched on a few key races in this morning's episode in New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City, and we'll have a full breakdown for tomorrow. So tune in and get out and vote.

Barack Obama hit the campaign trail in Virginia, pushing for Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Abigail Spanberger, and standing on the same stage as scandal plagued AG nominee Jay Jones. Daily Wire senior editor, Kabbit Phillips, has the details.

With Election Day just hours away, President Obama stumped alongside Jones, who made headlines over resurface text messages in which he advocated for the assassination of then State House speaker Todd Gilbert, a Republican. Jones also also suggested that Gilbert and his wife should have to watch one of their young children die. The former President spoke largely on Spanberg's behalf, claiming that she would faithfully represent all of Virginia, and arguing that she would engage in civil discourse without name calling or demonization, something Republicans said was ironic. Abigail doesn't just believe in working with everybody.

She also believes, and this is really important, in listening to everybody, whether they voted for or not, because she knows that if we want to make progress on the things that we we care about.

We have to be able to disagree without calling each other nasty names or demonizing each other. President Trump says the ICE raids carried out by his administration have not gone far enough because they'd been hampered by liberal judges. Speaking to 60 Minutes in an interview that aired Sunday, Trump was asked by CBS's Nora O'Donnell about accusations of ICE, tear-gassing neighborhoods, and similar tactics.

Have some of these raids gone too far?

No, I think they haven't gone far enough because We've been held back by the judges, by the liberal judges that were put in by Biden and by Obama.

You're okay with those tactics?

Yeah, because you have to get the people out. You have to look at the people. Many of them are murderers. Many of them are people that were thrown out of their countries because they were criminals.

During that same interview, Trump had some choice words for Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro.

On Venezuela in particular, are Maduro's days as President numbered?

I would say, yeah. I think so, yeah.

But asked about reports that he had looked at land targets in Venezuela to strike as part of his efforts to crack down on drug trafficking, the President had this to say.

I'm not saying it's true or untrue, but I wouldn't be inclined to say that I would do that. Because I don't talk to a reporter about whether or not I'm going to strike. You're a wonderful reporter. You're very talented. But I'm not going to tell you what I'm going to do with Venezuela, if I was going to do it or if I wasn't going to do it.

Border Patrol agents arrested a man for allegedly assaulting an agent after a traffic accident in a suburb of Chicago on Friday. Daily Wire immigration reporter, Jennie Tear, has the story.

Agents were attempting a U-turn when their vehicle was struck. According to authorities, the suspect had aggressively tailgated the Border Patrol vehicle before smashing into it and causing the wreck. The accident drew a hostile crowd that yelled obsenities at Border Patrol agents. After the accident, the suspect allegedly assaulted an agent by grabbing his genitals. Dhs Assistant Secretary, Trisha McAfflin, said in a that, The agent delivered several defensive strikes to the agitator to free his genitals from the agitator's vice. According to law enforcement, agents made one or two other arrests as members of the crowd attempted to interfere.

A man has been charged in connection with the mass stabbing that occurred aboard a British train on Saturday. Daily Wire reporter, Amanda Press to Giacomo has more.

Eleven people were injured, including nine who were treated for life-threatening injuries, and one person remains in critical condition. The most The severely injured individual from the train attack is a trained staff member who reportedly ran toward the suspect and attempted to subdue him while other passengers fled. The suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Anthony Williams. He says that he has no current home address. Williams is also suspected in connection with three other violent attacks that occurred in the preceding 24-hour period in Peterborough, England. Surveillance video from Friday night shows Williams drinking from what appears to be a flask before he storms into a Peterborough barber shop with a knife. The barber shop reported a second incident with the same individual on Saturday morning. A third incident, possibly linked to Williams as well, is the stabbing of a 14-year-old in downtown Peterborough on Friday evening. The child was hospitalized with minor injuries, and no arrests have been made. Authorities say there is no clear motive for the string of violence at this time.

As the government shutdown approaches a record-breaking length, Democrats are urging President Trump to return to the negotiating table. Daily Wire Congressional reporter, Amber Joe Cooper, has the latest.

Senator Mark Warner, a Democrat from Virginia, said on face the Nation that lawmakers have reached an impasse and that ending the shutdown will require the active intervention of the President. With the shutdown now extending into November, attention has turned to food stamps or Snap benefits, which affect 42 million Americans. The Department of Agriculture announced this morning that it will tap into an emergency reserve fund to cover, quote, 50% of eligible household's current allotments under the Snap program. The program would cost roughly nine billion to fund fully for the month. Treasury Secretary Scott Besson addressed Snap funding with Jake Tapper on CNN this weekend.

The best way for Snap benefits to get paid is for five Democrats to cross the aisle and reopen the government.

Senator John Federman, one of the dissenting voices on on the Democrats side, urged his party to concede on the shutdown demands in order to get food assistance funded.

I feel like the Democrats really need to own the shutdown. I mean, we're shutting it down. I know why they claimed because they want to address the tax credits. I do believe We can achieve these kinds of tax credits, and this is something I support, but it's the wrong tactic.

The President has stated that he would only entertain a negotiation on health care once the shutdown has ended.

Hamas has returned the remains of three additional hostages to Israel as the tenuous ceasefire holds. Forensic experts in Israel will examine the remains. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu noted yesterday that pockets of Hamas are still present in Israel-controlled areas of Gaza, and they will be, quote, eliminated.

Energy Secretary Chris Wright has confirmed that upcoming US nuclear weapons testing will not involve actual nuclear explosions. President Trump drew attention last week when he announced plans to resume the test following reports of recent weapons systems tests in Russia China. Here's Trump on 60 Minutes explaining his statement.

Are you saying that after more than 30 years, the United States is going to start detonating nuclear weapons?

I'm saying that we're going to test nuclear weapons like other countries do.

But the only country that's testing nuclear weapons is North Korea.

Russia is testing nuclear weapons. My understanding- China is testing them, too. You just don't know about it.

Secretary Wright, whose jurisdiction the testing falls under, says that the upcoming test will focus on non explosive components of the weapons to assess their reliability and functionality. He emphasized that the goal is to ensure the integrity of the US nuclear arsenal, much of which has been in storage for decades without conducting full-scale detonations. The US has not carried out a full nuclear weapons test since 1992.

The FBI thwarted a potential Halloween terror attack in Michigan and is now revealing more details. Daily Wire senior editor Joel Needler has the latest.

Director Cash Patel mentioned the near attack late last week, which Fox News reports was tied to ISIS. Law enforcement has arrested two males and three others had been questioned, all of them between the ages of 16 and 20. This alleged plot was apparently uncovered because of online chat rooms. It's unclear how concrete the attack plans were at the time, though the suspects apparently made some cryptic references to Pumpkin Day. Law enforcement officials told CBS News that the potential attack was inspired by a former member of the Michigan Army National Guard. The guardsman was arrested in May for alleged widely planning an ISIS-inspired attack against a military base in Detroit. No charges have been filed yet, but FBI agents have reportedly searched several houses in Deerboard, Michigan, and a storage facility in nearby Inkster.

An explosion occurred in a Harvard Medical School building this weekend, and officials say it was intentional. An officer saw two men running from the Goldensen building around 3: 00 AM on Saturday, but was unable to detain them. The Arson Unit of the Boston Fire Department later determined that the explosion was was intentional. Sweeps of the building found no additional explosive devices. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and there was no structural damage to the building, labs, or equipment. Both suspects are still on the run.

A mom in Mississippi says she gunned down one of the aggressive monkeys that had escaped a truck that crashed while transporting them. Jessica Bond-Ferguson says she acted on instinct to protect her five children after spotting the animal near her home in Heidelberg. Officials say the animals, which were carrying several diseases, weren't infectious but could be aggressive. Ferguson told the AP, I did what any mother would do.

The crash remains under investigation as residents breathe a cautious sigh of relief.

And? The Dodgers stand tall and win back-to-back titles. The LA Dodgers have clenched back-to-back World Series titles, defeating the Toronto Bluejays. Toronto, who at one point led the seven-game series, three games to two, dropped the final two games, blowing their first World Series shot in over 30 years. Standout performers include Japanese phenam Shoey Ohtani, who set a postseason record by reaching base nine times in the 18-inning Game 3. The Dodgers have now become the first team to win back-to-back World Series titles since the Yankees in 2000.
