Hamas carries out public executions on the heels of Trump's historic peace deal. Pete Hegseth boots media outlets who won't sign on to new Pentagon press policies and Elon Musk reaches a major milestone in getting people to Mars. Hamas carried out mass executions in the streets of Gaza on Monday, hours after inking a peace treaty with Israel as part of a series of bloody reprisals following the withdrawal of Israeli troops. Graphic footage shows eight badly beaten blindfolded men kneeling in the streets before each is shot dead by Hamas gunmen in front of a cheering crowd. According to the BBC, Hamas claimed the killings targeted, quote, criminals and collaborators with Israel. Among those killed was Ahmad Zidane al Tarabin, accused of recruiting agents to a rival non Hamas aligned militia. Following the IDF's withdrawal, Hamas has quickly looked to reassert its control over Gaza, targeting the Klans or family based armed groups that had gained strength during the conflict.

As the government shutdown nears two weeks, House Speaker Mike Johnson is accusing Democrats of playing politics. Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce has more.

Johnson says his Democratic colleagues are purposely waiting until after this week's no Kings protest to strike a deal. Internal documents obtained by the Daily Wire show the no Kings organizers are planning thousands of rallies nationwide, including a major one outside the Capitol, tying their message directly to the shutdown. The materials urge hosts to feature laid off federal workers and Medicaid recipients as speakers and include full media kits, chants and even jail support plans in case of arrests. The group insists the events will be peaceful. For his part, Johnson is continuing to shine a light on exactly where the Democrats want the money to go.

They want to send 3.9 million for LGBTQI plus democracy grants in the western Balkans. They want to spend 2.9 million of your dollars for desert locust risk reduction in the Horn of Africa and 2 million for, quote, organizing for feminist democratic principles in Africa. We are not doing that.

Airports in a handful of cities have refused to air a video of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem blasting Democrats over the government shutdown. So far, the video has been boycotted by airports in Phoenix, Portland, Seattle and at least three airports in New York. In the video, the secretary says a Democrat induced shutdown has caused problems among airport operations and forced TSA employees to work without pay. The problems have caused significant flight delays across the country.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth dismissed several media outlets on Monday after they refused to sign off on the Pentagon's new press policy. Daily Wire senior editor Virginia Kruta has more.

Hegseth says that the new policy will put the Pentagon's press regulations in line with every other US Military installation. But media companies such as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and Newsmax say that the rules violate the First Amendment. According to a memo Hegseth sent in May, reporters must agree to abide by information security requirements before they can be credentialed at the Pentagon.

The Coast Guard will keep getting paid during the shutdown. That's according to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, who says she has an innovative solution to keep Coasties paid, though she did not elaborate any further. The move follows President Trump's order to pay all active duty military, despite the funding lapse now stretching into its second week, the White House says it's tapping research funds to cover the checks. Even as thousands of federal workers face layoffs, Congress remains deadlocked, with no deal in sight to reopen the government.

SpaceX's Starship version 2 has reached a significant milestone in Elon Musk's ongoing effort to make human travel to Mars a reality. Daily Wire senior editor Joel Niedler has the details.

The upgraded mega rocket has faced several high profile challenges with its first three test flights ending in failure. The fourth test, conducted in August, successfully completed its primary mission but suffered heavy damage to its engine section during re entry. In contrast, this latest and final test of the version 2 prototype was a complete success. The spacecraft launched multiple mach satellites, reignited an engine while in orbit and executed a controlled landing in the Indian Ocean. According to SpaceX. The data gathered from these tests will inform the design of Starship version 3, which is expected to be the first fully operational variant. The company says version three will enable key capabilities such as in orbit refueling, an unprecedented feat that will be essential for future missions to the moon, Mars and beyond.

A new report from Goldman Sachs finds American consumers are absorbing more than half of the costs associated with recently imposed US tariffs. The analysis estimates that as much as 55% of the tariff burden under Trump's trade policies has been passed on to consumers through higher prices on goods. A White House spokesperson acknowledged the short term challenges, but said they'll lead to long term gain, saying, quote, the president and administration's position has always been clear. While Americans may face a transition period from tariffs upending a broken status quo that has put America last. The cost of tariffs will ultimately be borne by foreign exporters. Companies are already shifting and diversifying their supply chain in response to tariffs, including by onshoring production to the United States.

President Trump's surprise announcement of new tariffs on Chinese imports Friday appears to have sparked a historic sell off in the cryptocurrency market. Daily Wire reporter Zach Jewell has the.

Latest Bitcoin prices fell by 12%, while several smaller cryptocurrencies plunged by as much as 80%, with total sector losses estimated at nearly $19 billion. Two anonymous investors who took large short positions against the market reportedly profited more than $160 million from the crash. The timing of their trades just minutes before Trump's announcement prompted speculation about possible insider activity. But the positions were made shortly after China announced its own new trade restrictions, suggesting the trades could have just been the result of shrewd timing.

New York City mayoral frontrunner Zoran Mamdani is drawing ire for his comments on the Gaza peace deal. The far left Democrat described the scenes of Israeli hostages coming home as profoundly moving while calling attention to, quote, the first days in Gaza without relentless Israeli bombardment of Palestinians as families returned to rubble and loved ones freed from detention. He also urged for a future, quote, without occupation and apartheid. Mamdani's statement comes after competitor Andrew Cuomo called attention to his silence on social media. Cuomo and fellow mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa had both publicly praised the deal earlier in the day.

Atlanta is moving forward with its Biden era plan for reparations. Daily Wire reporter Jenny Terre has more.

The Atlanta City Council voted last week to appoint members to its Reparations Commission, part of its resolution to research the city's, quote, historical role in the legal discrimination of African American residents. Once fault is determined, the commission will then, quote, recommend potential remedies to address the resulting economic, educational, health and social disparities. The commission has yet to specify who would be eligible to get the money or how much they'd actually receive.

Three staff members were stabbed at a school for neurodivergent and autistic children in California yesterday. A former student of Switzer Learning center in Torrance allegedly attacked the staffers and planted pipe bombs near the campus. The student reportedly told police about the bombs when he was arrested. A bomb squad later arrived and safely detonated the devices. Two staffers were hospitalized and all three suffered non life threatening injuries. The student's identity has not been released and an investigation is ongoing.

A violent coup led by Gen Z protesters caused Madagascar's president to flee the country. Sparked by crippling blackouts, water shortages and corruption, protesters have taken to the streets over the past few weeks, chanting Rajelina out. President Andre Rojalina has been in charge since 2009. That's when he himself mounted a successful coup. The most recent protests have been violent, resulting in at least 22 deaths over the weekend. The country's military sided with the protesters before announcing their full seizure of power today. The commander of the elite Capsat military unit has been named the interim leader.

Time magazine is tipping its hat to President Trump. The magazine's new cover hails his triumph in the Middle east after the first phase of his Israel Hamas peace deal freed Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners. The issue calls it a potential turning point for the region and a defining achievement of Trump's second term. The deal, brokered by envoy Steve Witkoff and adviser Jared Kushner, has critics stunned and supporters calling it history in the making, with Trump declaring, It took us 3,000 years to get here. Trump was critical of the photo the outlet chose, saying Time magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the worst of all time.

Classic Trump there. Alec Baldwin crashed a Range Rover into a tree this week while vacationing in the Hamptons with his brother. The actor, who has been sober for 40 years, is not suspected of being intoxicated at the scene. He blamed the incident on a garbage truck blocking his view. He also thanked the responding officers and apologized for crashing his wife's car. Baldwin has had a home in East Hampton since 1995. He attempted to sell it for 29 million in 2024 after his accidental shooting on the Rust film set.
