One of the things that I've noticed about friendship when you're an adult is that the kind of people that I want to hang out with don't want to leave their house in the evening, either. Once you settle in and you get comfortable, it's so much nicer just to collapse at home, isn't it? Here's the thing, though. Those kind of people, people like you and me, they love to meet for coffee. They also love to go for a walk in the morning. So just because you're not going out in the evening doesn't mean you don't have amazing friends. So push yourself to get out there. Go meet people for a cup of coffee, go to a place where you love the pastries, go on a hike or a walk together, and make sure that you, my friend, are making time to see your friends. Just thought, at night.
