Bitter like your losses to me this week, Jason.

Oh, that's- You knowPlural? Plural losses?

Yeah, plural losses.

Just the two most important things.

Oh, Mike right, Mike wrong.

That's true. Yeah. I'm Mike now. You wish. No, those- You wish you were the king. I'm going to be honest with you, Mike. This is far worse than those losses. This coffee is not good. But also in those those league, I expected Ls going in.

Okay.

Does that make it go down smoother? It does, unfortunately. Sometimes you look at the schedule. The NFL teams, they go out and they lose to the bills, and they go, Dang, I wanted to win that. But it's the bills. You go out and you lose to the Saints, and you're like, Oh, no. Kill me.

I got it.

We are done with week one. We had a eventually fun Monday night football game.

Oh, man.

It turned from the worst to a great game. The whole world tweeted enough to where I think at halftime everyone was like, Okay, guys, we got to do something.

It was so bizarre watching it unfold. Jj McCarthy at the beginning, the Vikings versus the bears, that's what we're talking about. Mccarthy at the beginning seemed- Frazzled. Seemed very nervous, which, I mean, the energy of that stadium and the Chicago Bears at the beginning was like, I felt I could feel it radiating off of the television screen. They were hyped. It took a while for McCarthy, and Caleb Williams starts on fire.

Nine for nine.

And yet I'm watching going, I don't think he's playing that well. But it's like, to say that out loud, it sounds real stupid. He's literally completing 100% of his passes. And he's looking so athletic. Eventually, you had the freaking laser cannon down the... As he rolled out- He's got an unbelievable arm.

I mean, there were throws and plays in the game that were elite. Yes. But it has been his story to intermix that with mistakes and looking incompetent.

Did he I thought he got to 10 of 10.

He did. I think he got to 10 of 10.

Oh, really? And then he finished 21 of 35.

We had a group that was all doing the same prize picks lineup. I took the less on 65 five % completion percentage for Caleb Williams. He comes out 10 of 10, and I'm like, Well, I lost that one.

Did you end up winning that?

Yeah. He finished at 60 %. And if you start 10 for 10, you got a big lead. The rest of the way, he wowsers. It was wild.

It felt like the scripted start to the game went really well for Caleb. And then it's hard. You don't want to make season-long conclusions from a game in which you're facing probably one of the best defenses in football in Minnesota. Caleb, like I said, he made plays, but not enough. The team, eventually, JJ McCarthy got it going and figured it out. I tweeted about this last night. One of the reasons I love Kevin O'Neill so much is because I think almost any other coach, they do not win that game because what they do is they start to try to manage JJ McCarthy in such a fashion that a comeback is almost impossible because you start to go all short area targets and screen game. And let's protect JJ because the young quarterback is on the road and he looks frazzled. He threw a pick six. After the pick six, let's just manage him and do inside hand-offs and let's run the ball a bunch, which they did. They ran it successfully to help get the play action going. But Kevin O'Neill, he just doesn't overcoach. He lets his players figure things out because that was the only way they're going to win that game is to let JJ make some downfield throws.

He started completing them. You You can't... Some of these coaches, they frustrate the heck out of me. And Kevin O'Neill is just one of one.

It was very Phil Jackson-esque in the sense that-Yeah, very zen. Yeah, you just let him go. And it was funny, too, because I remember at at some point after the pick six, you saw the quarterback's coach, the offensive guy is talking with JJ. And you look at the head coach, he's just stoic, no problem. He's not over there trying to rally him up. And it was just like, let's keep pressing forward. And it was an impressive game from the Vikings to overcome in a harsh environment such a bad start because it was It was a bad start. Bad. Yes, it was. The opening first half for them offensively.

What, 17: 06 long into the third? I mean, it was an impressive comeback. It gives you a lot of hope for McCarthy. I don't know what it does for Bear's fans other than make them feel the same way they've felt for a long time, which is-Ben Johnson's aging fast.

He's going by the end of this season-A presidential term. A presidential term. I just watched his press conference, and it was like, He is doing an outstanding job of trying to not show how upset he is. He's talking about the like, We all have things to work on, myself included. I made plenty of mistakes trying to say the right things, but you could see underneath, he's like, I told them to kick the ball out the back of the end zone.

The place that Caleb missed, I mean, there was-Dj More wide open. Dj Moore, a breakdown that is...

Yeah, it was crazy because both of the running backs did a great job in this game. Jordan Mason was much better on the ground than Aaron Jones. Aaron Jones had the big shutdown catch and some blitz pickups that were impressive. Still looks like he has some juice, but they did the right thing. They went to Mason, the Mac truck, who could just... He just ran with a ferocity that opened up the entire game. Jj got into the end zone. And there will be reinforcements coming for Minnesota. Okay, we had a trade yesterday. Yeah, what? And we're still trying to confirm compensation.

So Tank Bigsby was traded after one week of barely being used by Jacksonville. It's a big trade. Jacksonville trades Tank Bigsby, who was listed as a co-starter for week one.

I wonder if the usage had something to do with this. They had already been talking about They're going to trade, and they're like, Okay, well, we got to make sure he doesn't get hurt.

100%, and we got to see what we've got in ETN. That's what it feels like now, knowing what we know, is like, they went into this week saying, Okay, we've got a potential trade for Tank. Let's go see how we would do without him.

So Tank Bigsby is now a Philadelphia Eagle. The original report said Jacksonville received a fifth and sixth round pick. For a while, it was being reported that it was a fifth and sixth swap, which that made more sense, considering the depth in Philadelphia. Now, this morning, as of moments ago, confirmed it was a fifth and sixth round pick. So Jacksonville gets a fifth and sixth. Mike was confused from the jump.

It is because you had Will Shippley, and I know he got hurt, and there was not really much reported on that.

Ribs, that's all we know.

Yeah, and they have A. J. Dylan on the squad. So it was very strange of just the trade overall, they're going to go get tank. Then the compensation comes out, which for us, we're like, Oh, a five and a six, that's nothing. But in terms of trading players, we see good players traded for pennies. This is two picks, even though they're day three picks. And then they're like, Hey, We like him as a kick returner. So this whole thing is so mind boggling. I don't know what's going on.

Will Shippley got hurt in the first week. He actually had worked himself into, I think, the first or second drive, looked good on two opportunities and disappeared. So we'll see. Tank Bigsby departing Jacksonville also gives you just pretty darn clear Travis ETN in a Liam Cohen offense after one week of seeing what he was able to do in it. I mean, this is who Jason believed in. We knew that one of these guys was potentially getting traded this offseason when the rumors started.

Team Tank, massive L here. If ETN is going to be incredible and Vishal Tootin skyrockets.

How ready were you?

He goes from this like, Oh, a day three-ish. He's behind two co-starters, too. He will be- He'll be worked in.

He'll be used a good amount. But it'll be interesting to see how much will be just Travis Etienne in this offense. He had 16 carries, three targets last week. And what's he going to be? He's the number three running back after week one. Is that right?

I mean, he had 143 yards.

143 yards. Yeah, he had the big breakaway run.

He looked excellent, and Carolina continues to look terrible on rush defense.

Every 49er seems to be hurt.

We got some good news.

It's still injured news. It's good within the realm of you're still injured.

I love the tweet from Benjamin Solak. I'll give him a shout out. He said, Update out of San Francisco. Nobody has any legs or hands or internal organs or skin. They'll be reevaluated later in the week. Brock Purdy injured his left shoulder and a toe. Just throwing that in.

They said the toe was the bigger concern.

He's now uncertain.

We have solved this problem. Just pop that thing off, man.

It was week Two last year for Pacheco. Thank you very much. He got two solid weeks. Pretty proud of that?

Yeah. George Kittle now expected to miss a few weeks because of the ham string injury, and it might be IR.

I bet it is. I heard even five or six weeks. It will be Can I get a seven? It will be very, very telling as to whether they put him on IR before this week's game. I mean, we'll know whether they hope to have him back earlier than that five and six week timeline, but that is brutal. He was dominating and is so important to this depleted offense, and now he's gone.

When he went to the side and immediately had a hat on.

I know.

It was, Oh, he is hurt, hurt.

Yeah. Juan Jennings, I guess, was the news. You said it's positive. He did get hurt. He just avoided serious injury. So the MRI didn't show extensive damage. He could suit up in week two. I mean, there's not a world where I'm feeling comfortable playing Juan Jennings right now, anyways.

No.

He didn't do much in week one, and now he's hurt and might not play.

And if we get Mac Jones, I mean- Well, and they sign Kendrick Bourne.

We should report that as well.

Yeah, Kendrick Bourne will be up there.

Two for 16 in week one for Jennings.

I'm just saying, does Mac Jones come in and throw Ricky Pearsall the ball 12 times? Do we get the Brian Thomas treatment?

And then DeMarcus Robinson will probably matter at some point. He might. He's only out two more games from his suspension. Kevin Stefansky said, We'll see when asked if Quinch on Judkins would play in week two. So we're waiting on that. And then Brian Dable, he confirmed Russell Wilson will start in week two.

It was reported Got to pull this man into the ocean.

It was reported that he had gone to management about asking to have Jackson dart start.

So the head coach who makes-Oh, no, you don't know.

No? Come on.

They make the decision for sure. Wink. I thought the arrangement is the general manager gives you the players.

You think Dable paid Daniel Jones?

No, the management decides what players are on the team, the coach decides what players are on the field.

I think this was above the... Was this not him going to the ownership? It was him going to ownership. Yeah, this is not general manager.

That's what I would do.

I was telling Mike- Team not Russell. The problem that they have is they wanted to show their support of Jackson Tart before the season. And so in order to show how good he did, they said, You know what? You're elevated to number two on the depth chart. And so now he's the backup. But it's like, Well, we can't go to him yet this early, but you can't have Russ out there. And now you've screwed yourself because what you should do is go to Jameis.

So this is one example of why Malik Malik Nabour's situation was less appealing than a lot of other top-tier wide receivers is, I mean, are we going to see all three guys at some point? Because it feels that way. And there's an... You know, Jamis would be great. It's just Jamis would be great, but Jackson Dard is not a guarantee to be great for Malik Nabors.

It's so wild to me. If those reports are true, because that's just a great find, of that your head coach is coming to you saying, We can't play this guy anymore. We need somebody else. And they're like, No, you just need to keep playing. And then you're just going to fire me because you wouldn't let me put the guy out? Unlimited diabetes. Yes, thank you. Unlimited. I mean, if I'm Brian Dable, there's a power outage while Russ He was in the elevator this weekend.

Nice.

It's not falling, people. It's just stuck.

That does comfort me. I genuinely, genuinely, my only My only hope as a Cardinal's fan is that he was horrifically ill because-If he's up at 4: 00 AM. That's what I mean. Both ending. Both ending.

He was 25-Creats that vacuum you don't want. 25 fantasy points. 21 One for 29, and seven rushing attempts.

It didn't look great.

Do you think ownership is just basically saying with the Jackson dart, he is not allowed to start until Andrew Thomas is back?

Yes, absolutely. I wouldn't start him without an offensive word. He's the future. No.

It is time to find some options on The Waver Wire.

All right. Well, I'm curious. Before we get into the names, we're starting at running back. We'll go to wide receiver, tight in, and we'll get into our streams of the week at quarterback. But I would love to know just how you look at the waiver wire in week one, right? Because we don't want to overreact to player performances. Very, very, very frequently, you have week one performances that they're great. They disappear, they fade into nothingness. You don't want to waste all your FAB or your waiver priority. You do want to pick up players you think have a long-term future, but how do you... You have a lot of league. How are you thinking about it?

Week one and week two, waivers are exceptionally important. We did a study looking at the quality of waiver pickups, not just how many total fantasy points that they have scored on the course of the season, because obviously, if you get them early, you get more weeks. But actually, how many points per game do the waiver wire pickups score per game in different weeks? And the first two week pickups are worth so much more than the rest of the season. Yes, there will be someone in week four, eight, whatever, who gets thrust into a starting running back position because of an injury ahead of them. This week one, we literally had almost no running back injuries. I mean, there was very little, a little stinger to Jonathan Taylor's neck. I mean, backups got hurt, but this was a very healthy week one, knock on wood. That being said, this is where you see the emergence of certain players, whether it's snap percentage or just quality of how they've leveled up. And so I think you want to go hard in week one. I will say that in 2025, this season, the running back pickups, I feel like there's four decent options, but there's not a Kyren Williams sitting out there.

There's not one of these great like, Oh, you got to go spend a lot on this player necessarily.

So what are those four names? Because I mean, Judkins is on the list, but he's rostered in 85% of the league, Most situations are not going to have the opportunity to go get him. He was drafted.

Yeah, he's one of them to me. To me, it's the Cleveland Browns backfield of Quinchawn Judkins if he's there. Dylan Samson, who I think retains the pass catching role, I say Bayeshal Tootin because he's now going to be- Tootin is at the top of the list for me. To me, it's Tootin and Trey Benson that you're hoping are flex with benefits. They are going to be somewhat Startable. They will get enough work to where you can throw them in a flex in a pinch. They're not just a complete insurance option backup, but they still have that insurance policy where if the starter goes down, now they're real fantasy gold.

I don't know if philosophically, I agree this year at running back. I wouldn't go very hard. If Juckins is not out there, I'm actually not going very hard at running back this week. I don't see anybody I can guarantee start next week. And that's going to... I know a lot of people are thin at running back. Players like... If you had Tink Bigsby, he's not an option anymore. People drafted him to maybe be a running back option. Maybe you don't feel very good about nick Chubb or some of these other guys that you... I don't feel like I can play Tooting next week and feel good about it. I don't feel that way about Trey Benson. I mean, I could get lucky, but he had eight carries. So it's one of those situations where I'm actually probably going to conserve a little bit and look for We're in agreement, just to be clear.

When I say I go hard in week one, that's where I caveat it. The runningbacks aren't where I'm going.

Okay. I think Tooting can be a 10 plus opportunity guy. I feel that way, but I-Sooner later. They also put... They had LeQuint-Allen, right? Yeah. So they had other players in there, so I'm a little bit more hesitant. I do agree. He's probably the top ad. Samson looked good, but now with Judkins and Ford and the Browns' offense, It makes me a little bit more concerned about weekly starter potential. Minangai, we were hoping to see something from him. We didn't. He had zero carries. Kareem Hunt. Look, Kareem Hunt, I think, should be rostered. He got a lot of snaps. He didn't produce.

The Chief's backfield, if this is really what they're going to do to us- It was a mess.

Then there- It was the chargers. They were down. I mean, there will games when they're ahead. Sure.

But the game opened. Isiah Pacheco took the first snap. Then, rookie, Brashard Smith came in and took the second snap. Then, Kareem Hunt came in and took the third snap. I mean, if this is the approach that they're going to go, that literally all three players are going to get time, then it will be a shutdown or bust.

Drop candidates, not a lot in week one. A lot of people are holding. But Tank Bigsby, I think, is a drop. I think I would absolutely... You need flexibility this week. There's no world where I'm holding Tank Bigsby.

Yeah, no, I'm fine dropping Tank Bigsby. I love Will Shipply. He came in early, looked great. There was a report out that said they were looking at Tank as a kick returner. This had nothing to do with Will Shipply's injury. Okay, let's just assume that's true. I still now wonder, do you hold on to Will Shippley, or do you cut him with Tank there and A. J. Dylan there and Will Shipply?

I don't want any of the backups.

I agree. It's like I have a lot of Will Shippley on my league. I was happy with what I saw, and now I'm like, he's probably someone I'm cutting. I want to throw one more name out before we move on. Yeah, go ahead. I think DJ Giddens is someone that absolutely needs to be rostered. First of all, there was an injury to Jonathan Taylor's neck. They were up so big against the Miami Dolphins that they said Jonathan Taylor was fine. He got checked out. But because they were up so much, they didn't put him back in. We thought when we were watching live that they just were like, We're up 30 in the fourth, bench him, which I would have done the same. Jonathan Taylor looked awesome. But it was clarity was given to us. Dj Giddens, the rookie running back, he was the guy that came in and took everything. If Jonathan Taylor goes down, DJ Giddens is the guy. I think he's a good insurance. I would drop Will Shipply to pick up DJ Giddens.

That makes sense. To go along with Shipply, would you drop... We talked about Bigsby, but would you drop Caleb Johnson, Jerome Ford, Braille and Allen, Pam Skatebu. You need to drop somebody if you're going to pick up a Waver guy this week.

Yeah. I would drop Tank. I would drop Ollie Gordon. I would drop Braille and Allen. I would probably drop Jerome Ford. He's tough because right now he as a starter, and we don't know with Quinchaud Judkins, so I might want to hold on to him for one more week. I'm not dropping the rookies in Camp Skatebu and Caleb Johnson. I drafted them knowing it might be a couple of weeks before they get more involved. If you have to have a roster spot you can.

Wide receiver, top pickups. Ironically, the chargers receiver room is going to get a lot of attention today. Keenan Allen is probably not out there, but he is out there in about 40% of the league, so he is a must add. And I think, and we'll see if you guys agree, but I think Quentin Johnson is a must add.

He is 100% a must add.

And he's only 10% rostered. He was five for 79 and two. He caught the ball. And the way this passing offense looked in week one, very encouraging. And you're talking about different archetypes when Keenan, McConkey versus what Quentin Johnson brings to the table.

Quentin Johnson has the high potential upside. We talked about yesterday the stat of when you're scoring more than 21 fantasy points in a game, Quentin Johnson's had four of those since the beginning of last season.

You remember how many touch-ons he had last year off the top of your head?

I know it was a lot.

It's more than seven. It's eight.

Oh, man. Way more. That is one more than seven. Personally, if both of those guys are out there, if I'm in one of the leads that Keenan Allen's out there, I would much prefer to have Keenan. Keenan is a locked in. He got double-digit target It's right off the bat. He is the best friend of Herbert. Keenan is a weekly starter. I do agree Quentin Johnson is more of the high upside, but you're going to have a lot of volatility.

Now, do you like Hollywood the most? Do you like him more adding Johnston this week?

I don't- I would put him... No, he's behind those guys because he should be a rental. I mean, hypothetically, if everyone stays healthy for Los Angeles, those will be the three guys. Where Hollywood Brown, he was a product of necessity of you lost worthy right away. Did we get a worthy update on the shoulder yet today?

I have not seen.

I haven't seen He didn't anything either. I expect him back at some point, and then Rice will be back. It's not that he is... Or he is a good rental in the time being. You get Philadelphia, the Giants in Baltimore.

You actually want them losing.

Sure. Right now. Yeah, because you want 16 targets. Compared to Cuge and Keenan Allen, it's just for a chunk of time, which should make him cost less.

He was awesome. My only worry there is that because it was in a game plan that expected to have Xavier worthy there, and then this is what they threw at the wall, I don't know if going into another week, maybe rookie Jalen Royals gets more involved.

He's hurt.

Is he not?

He was hurt for week one, so I don't know.

Taekwan Thornton will score this week, by the way. Oh, is that a- That's a countdown guarantee.

It's a touch-to-touch guarantee. The first one of the year.

Taekwan Thornton. Wow. Of the Kansas City Chiefs will score this week. Okay. The touch-to-touch will be 42 yards, exactly.

Okay. Getting a little big for the breaches over there.

That's a must start.

He will score.

That's 10 points off.

Thornton is on no rosters. He had Four targets. He had a couple of deep shots. He will guarantee to score this week. Cedric Tillman is a must add. Eight targets, five for 52 and one. Tillman started alongside Jerry Judy. He also, like Jerry Judy, threw the ball up into the air to be intercepted on behalf of Joe Flacko.

I think there's an argument that Tillman is more valuable than even Quentin Johnston.

No, I'm fine with Tellman being the number one add. I really am.

We've seen, I believe, four games now without Amari Cooper, where Jerry, Judy, and Tillman played the full games. In those games, both were outstanding, but I believe Tillman has even more receptions. He had the year two breakout happening last year before the concussion. They shut him down for the rest of the season. The fact that he came out week one, eight targets, and he's got Joe Flacko. Now, the schedule coming up is difficult, but I really like Tillman.

There's a name that I think is worth spending some time on.

Yeah, I'm going to love it.

Only 4% rostered, only 23 years old from- Got some. From Wide Receiver University.

Don't forget. Oh, even ahead of them.

What I saw in the field for New England last week told me that DeMaria Douglas had one catch. Stefan Diggs looked irrelevant in the offense.

I thought he had two. I saw JJ put out the craziest stat line for- Douglas was two. Oh, what? Yeah, read the stat line.

Two for negative two.

With a countdown.

With a nutshell. Look, What? But it was more about Diggs. It was more about so far, I know Diggs could be coming back from the ACL, but you're older. You also just aren't Diggs. Keishaan Boody is the name. Yes. Keishon Boody is 23 years old. He really, really flashed at the end of 2024 with Drake May in a time when you weren't paying attention. He was the wide receiver 11 and the wide receiver 4 in two of the final three weeks of the season. He plays a ton of snaps. He had eight targets this week. You talk about a wide receiver room where you're trying to find Kyle Williams and Demario Douglas and Stephon Diggs. Hunter Henry always does his week one thing. It was Cajon Boody that makes you... I think it's going to stick.

I do, too. Keep in mind, Cajon Boody had a year at LSU where he was ahead of Malik Nabors, ahead of Thomas Jr. He was supposed to be the next star, had a very bad injury, and then was like, Where did he fall in the draft? He was a sixth-round pick. He was an afterthought. But now he's looked the part. You go back to last year, he looked the part at the end of the year with Drake May. So you believe? I 100% believe. It's a zero-dollar bid. Another one that is available in about 40% of leads. He was drafted in some places. Darnell Mooney, we don't know if he's playing week two, so don't spend if he's out there. But we don't know the Drake London. Probably, I don't think Drake London plays this week. No, you think he doesn't. We don't have an update yet, but just usually if it's an AC spraying, maybe he does. I don't know. We don't know for sure. But there's a chance that Darnell Mooney is out there and Drake London is not. If he is, then he's a must start type of player.

But for me, the more interesting names, Harold Fana Jr, Rookie Tied End, Collegiate Sensation, nine targets, seven for 63. When you look at Cleveland, I've got a different point of view here. I don't know. It does hurt David Najoku, yes, to have Harold Fana Jr. Involved. Both of them were on the field a ton. That's the point, though, is they run a ton of 12 in Cleveland. So I think you're going to see Najoku and Harold Fana Jr. On the field a lot, and you're going to throw the ball a lot as long as Joe Flacko is your quarterback. So to me, Harold Fana is a great... We've had rookie tight-ins make a huge impact for years. We already had two in week one. Harold Fana, Tyler Warren, both of these guys made a big impact. Didn't see that from Colson Loveling.

But Fanon is a must add to me.

I completely agree. The scouting report coming in, we talked about he had a bad combine, and he played at a smaller school. He's not an profile. I remember watching the film, and what I said on him was like, It's so weird. You watch him, and he runs like he's got lead in his feet. You don't understand why it works, and it works every single play. My landing spot was, I'm in. I'm in on believing Harold Fannen is great. He had 117 receptions in college as a tight end. That's not good. That's unheard of. 1,500 yards, double-digit And so the fact that week one, right off the bat, he's nine targets. I believe he will be involved. I'm totally fine. If you are struggling for a tight end and you want to pick up Harold Fannen, he has to be picked up. In case he becomes just a full breakout.

Isiah Likely, please don't forget he exists.

Mark Andrews. That's right. Oh, man.

Mike will want to talk about the 11 targets, the eight catches, the 76 yards for the recently paid and seemingly important Jowan Johnson.

A route on 96 % of dropbacks. He didn't accidentally get 11 targets. This was Kelenmore saw what the staff was, and they said, You are-Not blocking. Yeah, you're not blocking. And Jowan is one of those converted wide receiver guys. That's what he played, and then he became a tight end because he got too big. But he built up that skillset. Both I'm really struggling between Fana and Juan, who I would target, because I think that they are both crucial must-adds for all 12-team league out there. Juan, 62% of his snaps was in the slot. If you recall the times of when Kelenmore was on Philadelphia, he was like, Oh, man, if Devontes Smith is in the slot, that is an important role for the Kelenmore offense. So I'm very in on Juan, to the point of if you're looking good and you're like, I got this one guy I can get rid of, I wouldn't mind literally blocking people from getting one of those tight ends. I think you don't want your opponents to get them.

Two other names. One I like a little bit more. Like, Britten Strange had a really good week one.

And he gets the bangles.

I could see that he was 4 for 59. It was a weird off day for Brian Thomas. You're still acclimating Travis Hunter. So I'm not over-emphasizing Britten Strange. I think you're going to have... I just don't know if his ceiling is what some of these other guys are. And I will say, like Johnny Smith was coming back from injury, still had six targets, five catches, had a breakdown. I know we don't like it, but Arthur- Arthur loves this dude. I can't imagine there's not designed Johnny Smith plays five, six, seven times a game, every game, forever.

No, I agree. He was one of my five. I think the tight-end and wide receivers are very deep for good pickups, and you can never... Most people don't have a good tight in, so take your shots. I agree with Mike. Even if you've got someone that's like, you don't have one of the top two, three guys, or you lost George Kittle. But if you've got a decent... You've got Hawkinson, who did very little. But obviously, you're not going to start most of these guys over Hawkinson next week, but you're not sure. Pick up one of these guys as a backup.

Yeah. No, it makes sense. People want to know, can they drop Mark Andrews? Can they drop Evan Ingram?

Mark Andrews, for sure.

Yes. Yeah. Defensively this week, Arizona, they were probably rostering Week 1 against New Orleans, but they have Carolina this week, which is great. The Rams looked awesome on defense in week one. Oh, the Rams. They're probably the best pickup because they faced Cam Ward. Now, they're in Tennessee, but that seems like a great pickup.

Their defense was so good. I I know we talked a lot about the offensive line problems for the Texans, but part of their offensive line problems was the Rams defense. I think they're going to be one of the best this year.

San Francisco plays New Orleans, who Arizona played last week. San Francisco, 59% rostered. The Patriots play Miami. Miami looked incompetent. Patriots, they are going on the road in that one, 26% rostered. And then Dallas, just 5% rostered, but they play the Giants, and they're at home.

Russell Wilson named Week 2 starter.

If he's on your way everywhere, he will be picked up, and I don't think he's going to be allowed to be in this section from here on out. So let's use it while we can. Justin Fields versus Buffalo. He runs a ton. Obviously, we had the naked bootleg, easy breakdown, and he just looked good. He has a team that I believe wanted Justin Fields, and they're saying, We want you because you are good at these things, so let's do those things that you are good at. And And he takes on Buffalo. They're going to need to score a ton.

They should have won the game. And their head coach is a defensive-minded head coach, and they could not slow down Aaron Rodgers. Maybe he's secretly an offensive coach. It was just one of those games where you look at it and you're like, much like the Mars game, it's like, what else could Justin Fields have done? I mean, he played outstanding, and he's a great high floor starter as long as he's starting.

I'll go next because it's very similar to Mike's. This is another Justin who is on about half of waivers, and I don't think we'll be able to say his name again the rest of the season after this week. I agree. Personally, if this guy's on my waiver, I'm going after him no matter what because I'm a believer it's Justin Herbert.

Are you going after him or Fields?

I would go after Herbert over Fields. Personally, I believe in what we saw. I'm very curious. Tomorrow, we're doing an overreactions episode on the dynasty podcast, and I looked at the show doc, and Kyle has put in the Justin Herbert, the passing volume of the chargers. Now, I don't currently know where we're surprising each other. I don't know if he's saying we're overreacting to the fact that he threw the ball so much against the Chiefs, and that might have been the game plan, or if he believes that that's what it is going forward. Personally, I believe Justin Herbert going to be awesome this year. I think we all saw the potential for this to be an outcome this year, but I'm buying in after week one because he was incredible and because he has the weapons. Why would you go away from-We did list the top waiver And then the option pickups are two of his wide receivers. Yeah, exactly. You've got Lad McConkey, Quintin Johnston. You've got Keenan Allen.

It's going to be a really good year for this team. He needed more receiver weapons last year. If they They may get ahead by running the football. They may keep running the football. I think those games will happen. But more often than not, I think Herbert, I don't know why you can't look at him through a similar lens as Baker Mayfield. Baker's somehow in our normal start category. I figure Herbert will be there.

Harbaugh came out and had one of the greatest quotes, which was, His job is to make Justin Herbert a Hall of Famer. I agree, he's not going to the Hall of Fame, probably without a Super Bowl. I mean, that is his job, right? They play on Monday night football this week, primetime in front of the world in Las Vegas, where last year this team in Las Vegas, Justin Herbert was the quarterback three. They're going to throw the ball in that game. Obviously, if they're up a bunch of scores, they'll run it out. But they're getting up a bunch of scores by Justin Herbert touchstones.

Jake May against Miami is my stream of the week. Miami made Nate last week made Daniel Jones an All-Star. We could probably talk about Daniel Jones as well in this segment, just to ask the question Do you believe?
