This is Gilbert. I want to take a moment to share some news directly with all of you who follow Bone Valley. Jeremy Scott died alone in his cell on September 20th. The Florida Department of Corrections has said the cause was heart failure. Over the past two days, I've spoken with the prison chaplain, social services, and Jeremy's family. Jeremy's life and his story were not simple. It will take me time to find the right words for what his passing means. For now, Season 2 of Bone Valley tells Jeremy's story in the fullest way I know how, and I wanted you to hear this news from me first. Jeremy will not be buried in the prison Cemetery. His family is honoring his last request, and he will be laid to rest beside grandmother, Irlene. Thank you for listening.
